Not received my tickets yet, but was wondering if we know if it will be the same access as last year. I get it is for security purposes, but on major events like these more staff would be a better option, rather than the chaos that happened last year.
Is the Cardiff street entertainment on again and is there still some form of entertainment in the stadium, asking this as returning to Cardiff for the 1st time in 4 years (missed it so much) as now live in Spain.
I can see from some of the replies that the entertainment is not a big part of the day but for some of us this is our only chance of attending a speedway meeting as we live in Spain and although Spain is fanatical about bikes, Speedway is not big on there agenda,so my daughter and i who are travelling over on the Friday to attend cardiff for the 10th year would like to know in advance wether we should enter the stadium early or as like most stay in the bar until the bikes start at 5pm.
For the 1st time since the GP went to Cardiff i have not been able due to attend due to now living abroad, but after watching this debacle on Sky, i am glad i am not there. What a joke as Speedway become like the Premier League Football BENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Does Ole Olsen (who was a school boy hero of mine) think this will make him Danish Prime Minister.
Nicki(Didier Drogba in Kevlars) is a cheat and until we abolish cheats from our sport the sport will nosedive just like the premiership.

What is the rumour about a GP in Spain, i am moving to Spain in 2008 so will have to fly back for Cardiff, however if there is one in Spain would be easier to fly internally and watch in Spain, any idea where don't know of many stadia with removable pitches or running tracks that can have a track layed on them.
Agree with most comments, this was my seventh and potentially last Cardiff due to relocation to another country. Here are my observations, they are my opinions and are not nessecarily the right ones.
1. Was the best result possible both for being a brit and for caning the bookies with a 123
2. Racing of the highest quality with the correct sportsmanship to go with it.
3. Absolute rubbish entrance.
4. Entertainment inaudible and seriuosly needs a massive improvement so many good acts out there that would die for that sort of crowd to play to.
5. Knowing that whatever the weather throws at us the meeting will survive.
6. Track as improved over the 7 years.
7. Attending the best spectacle and having people around you that are patriotic to the end but are still able to applaud and cheer all talent on display.
This was the best Gp of the last 7 at Cardiff and hopefully will not be my last but if it is then could not have asked for a better finale to see a brit stand on the top of the rostrum and acclaim a truly awesome rider.
Roll on Germany in October.
How bad will the track be considering Olsen and his team only have 3 days to lay it he usually gets a week.
There is a playoff final today and a bank holiday this only gives him Tuesday - Thursday before Friday's practice session.
