  1. In CL it is, don't know if that also applies to PL.
  2. I think Nicol signing for Wolves & Glasgow rules out that theory.
  3. So what average does Nicol come in on? His PL average attained with Sheffield was 5.16, if the conversation rate between PL to CL is *1.4 surely it's /1.4 which makes it 3.69?
  4. I quite enjoyed visiting Monmore when Andy Phillips was at reserve for the Heathens
  5. Jonasson has signed to ride in Allsvensken (Thursday) as well as Elitserien (Tuesday) in his homeland, so I'm guessing he won't be riding in the Premiership in Britain. Can't see that he's signed up anywhere in Poland.
  6. I'll reserve judgement for when I see them on track Yes, if Perry Barr is gate-n-go certainly Harris, Shanes & Garrity are going to struggle. Castagna will like it though. I can hardly believe Jonasson is only 30 (31st birthday tomorrow) he seems to have been around longer than that. I think it could be the coup of the season if he's not over committed on the continent.
  7. Will win you matches, but will go missing at times, if he's third in averages riding at 3/4 you'll be alright. Hope for Kent's sake he'll weigh in for 2020 is his 2019 weight, not his 2018 weight.
  8. Don't read Poole threads! Their bunch of annoying twits invade every thread regardless of its relevance to their club.
  9. Wouldn't have touched either with a barge pole. But I'd not have signed Harris & Garrity. THJ because at least he could at least gate once. You don't average 8ish in the Polish Ekstraliga without being able to gate. Barker (like Garrity & Harris) has never been a reliable gater.
  10. There isn't an obvious fit from the riders that attained CL averages in 2019. The ones that fit (7.3-7.59) such as NBJ, Summers, S Worrall, Heeps, Kerr & Howarth have all signed elsewhere
  11. Not sure, his final average attained with Wolves is 5.27, so depends what the conversation rate is. If it is *1.44 or lower then yes.
  12. It reads to me like he'll do testimonials & invitationals. Not league racing.
  13. https://www.speedwaygb.co.uk/news.php?extend.37719
  14. THJ? Probably the most talented Swede since Lindgren & Lindback, but probably a little past his best now. Had a poor 2019 season. He was a GP rider 5ish years ago. Never really fully committed to Britain. If he has no Polish commitments & decides British Speedway for him in 2020 riding in both leagues he could be a revelation. I have my doubts.
  15. 7.59 for final rider, I believe. That rules out Covatti & Ellis.
  16. Having looked through unsigned riders for 2020, with 2019 averages. Can't see anything other than a 8 pointer & a 2 pointer being sought. Just no riders fit with Thomsen or Hume/Perry.
  17. Looks like a solid start to team building for the Tigers & i hope they have a successful season, I'm no Nicki Pedersen fan but I might actually visit Monmore for the first time since Peter Karlsson's farewell meeting when he is in town, gotta love a Pantomime Bad Guy. Don't think Nicki will have any problems maintaining his 8.61 average in this league. I don't think he'll prove to very exciting to watch however, he'll be miles in front of most riders by the first turn and quicker than them as well.
  18. They'll both be on the averages attained at Wolves & Poole from last year - Howarth 5.72 Grajczonek 7.29 Which leaves the Tigers with 20.88 for 4 riders.
  19. I only saw Hume once, he was certainly quick, if a little erratic. Worth a punt on 3.19. never saw Thomsen or Perry do don't know how they compare.
  20. Whatever average he comes in on it'll be too high! I don't think he has ever ridden second tier Speedway in the UK
  21. No. But I can't see him at Birmingham, his 5.07 average would leave 4.95 for the final spot and would see the Brummies having 5 rides on averages between 4.9 & 5.4.
