  1. Obviously missed the announcement about 25% capacity on fans. Unless Wozniak perks up, looks like a home win.
  2. How come fans are in the stands at Lublin? Lampart was very forceful on Kraczmarz.
  3. Lublin still going ahead according to Ekstraliga website. They might get lucky if the storm holds off, local weather forecast is expecting sorm at 16:00.
  4. Link for Lublin v Gorzow? Ignore, just seen it's Sunday not tonight.
  5. You have to remember that the two meetings that stick in my head from Chestochowa are the two I attended when Wroclaw & Lezsno ran out comfortable winners.
  6. Well he certainly looked much improved on whoever partnered Miskowiak at reserve for Częstochowa last year.
  7. Just finished watching Grudziądz visit to my favourite Polish track. Laguta was superb with only Madsen able to "keep him honest", I may watch heat 15 again as my eyes were on Lindgren & Pedersen. Unfortunately the rest of the visitors were not at their best so it was a comfortable home win for the Lions despite Doyle looking slow, more encouragingly for Częstochowa Przedpełski looked much improved and they may have a unearthed a gem at reserve in Świdnicki, who I don't think I had heard of before. Heat 14 was the highlight, Buczkowski leading after a lap but fourth half a lap later and then stuffed by Pedersen. Heat 6 also good. Edit - having watched heat 15 again maybe it was the cameraman more than myself who was watching Lindgren & Pedersen, Madsen had reeled Laguta in by the end of lap 4 but not sure if Laguta was easing off.
  8. Think I've caught up with everything now. Zmarzlik definitely didn't have his gating gloves on and the Leszno points accumulating machine continues sadly. Lambert was impressive for Rybnik but they are in for a long season.
  9. Actually it might be closer than that, not sure what the reserves are like. But Częstochowa top 3 should out score Grudziądz top 3, but Holta & Przedpełski are going to struggle where as there isn't really a weak link in the visitors top 5. This is if they line-up as I think they do, haven't checked.
  10. Thanks. No speedway there tonight, looking at that weather.
  11. Częstochowa will get 52. What stream is it on?
  12. Guessing that's the end of Bewley's night, Chugonov will be taking his final two rides. Why no Fricke for Wroclaw? Haven't been keeping tabs on things. Lambert not in Rybnik 1-7 either, #8?
  13. SGP reporting that Sayfutdinov may sit the Ekstraliga season. Might actually mean it's a contest for the first time in a while.
  14. I just had email saying it was postponed. Are tickets going to be automatically refunded?
  15. Nobody is saying they do, but it doesn'tseem likely riders would turn down employment if it doesn't affect their current working schedule.
  16. With Jonasson's average removed from the original septet there is 7.64 available for team building, where is the sense in signing a rider a rider on 5.38. Ludvig Lindgren, Victor Palovaara & Dimitri Berge are three riders who do not have a Championship ride and all averaged more than Grobauer in recent years. I know signing a Dane is not ideal due to race night but there are a host of Danish riders who also fit.
  17. I totally disagree. Without the THJ potential X factor, Brummies now look the weakest team.in.the league except for possibly Newcastle. Two heat leaders in CH & JG who often miss the gate. Probably the weakest third heat leader in the league. AM & JS are returning from injury
  18. If Grobauer was worth signing he'd be in the Rebels 1-7. Asking Morris or Shanes to stand up as third heat leader after their injuries last year is asking too much. I do wonder if the THJ "signing" was a publicity stunt to flog season tickets, he was never coming.
  19. So... Swap a 6.9 former GP rider for a 5.4 never gonna be. Is that the only change? I guess THJ sold a few season tickets.
  20. Actually I don't know anything about work permits, nor do I care to. I just remember when Becker was suggested as a Brummies rider in 2020 people piped up that his work permit means he can't ride in the 2nd tier. If Rebels have something that means they can sign riders Birmingham can't, I suggest Birmingham get that something if they ever want to win anything.
  21. I guess the theory that Becker work permit doesn't allow him to ride the Championship was total *%$£ then! I think he'll be a great signing for the Rebels, might be a little hit & miss away from home as he will not have seen most of the tracks before but give him a little time.
  22. For anyone interested Sale Sharks v Saracens is on the Friday at 15:00, tickets now on sale. Should be easy to attend both.
