Watching Gorzow v Częstochowa Predpelski is really looking the real deal this year after two two outings, Woźniak far from it. Częstochowa reserves could cost them this meeting. Not much going on entertainment wise, all done by bend three lap 1.

Just how many points did Kudriashov cost me last round? Riding to far wide in his last ride to gift Ljung is only points of the night? Sayfutdinov 150 more. Bellego 100 less. Ljung 100 less. -
Weird, unpredictable Torun track didn't make for the best entertainment, especially early on. That said Lambert's first outing, heat 4(?), was probably the pick of the heats. Woryna exclusion was wrong. Madsen very up & down, Zmarzlik won't retain world title on that form. But Lambert is joint top of leader board & roll on Wednesday in Bydgoszcz

Not read anything as I will watch Gorzow v Cheztchowa when sleep fails me. Lublin v Rybnik was poor, aside from a few heats late on.. Lambert & to a lesser extent Milik were the only visitors to offer any resistance, Woryna's early crash probably reduced his scoring.

Some Brit's get a few outings in division 2/3 in Poland, they far from excel.
-
You'd think Częstochowa will win at Gorzow considering the start of the season both clubs have made. Zmarzlik aside Gorzow have been poor. Lublin should see Rybnik off with comfort, hoping Lambert's good start to the year continues to bloody the nose of the team who released him. Sundays meetings will give more indication of potential playoffs. Looks like two of Grudziadz, FZG & Wroclaw to join Leszno & Częstochowa. First real test for the revamped Leszno septet.

Is Lebedevs declared fit to ride? Kudriashov £50 more. Madsen £50 more. Ljung £50 less. -
On that performance & his showing last week, none of them. Have to admit of not being aware of Logachev before.

Lambert has certainly improved his gating, good ride from Milik to resist Kasprzak. I thought for a lap or two there a Rybnik reserve was going to win a heat, what a fool I am. Logaczew came awfully close to running both wheels over the white line in heat 3 first bend. Wozniak again struggling. Heat 4 looked like 1-5, I assume NKI's first heat of the year. NKI's second heat of the year was almost as poor, not many GP riders will be beaten by many of Rybnik's Polish contingent other than Woryna. Lambert again superb. Wozniak poor again in heat 6. Would expect nothing less considering the opposition but good composed first lap from Zmarzlik in heat 7. Good effort from Woryna to try and team ride Tudziez home but his partner just wasn't quick enough & it cost them both. NKI not getting any better! Heat 9, another superb ride from Lambert. Wozniak is at least making the gate which is making him marginally more effective than NKI. Good ride in heat 11 from Milik, shame it wasn't quite enough. Rybnik reserve wins heat 12, Wozniak really is not at the races. Fair play Nowacki. Why only 3 riders? Woryna excluded? Touched tapes or 2 minutes? Worrying heat 13 for home side, their best two rides Lambert & Woryna left for dea by Zmarzlik & Thomsen. Wozniak in nomintaed riders LOL! Better than NKI I guess. Good ride from Milik to join Lmabert for 5-1 over Kasprzak. Best tactic for home team in heat 15 is let Zmarzlik go and try to edge out Thomsen. Was expecting Lambert not Logaczew. Can #8 only appear in one of the nominated riders heats? And thats exactly what they did, great ride from Logaczew to do all the blocking. Hope that gives Rybnik some confidence for the rest of the season and they can be competitive. Lebedevs is no doubt out for a while. I know he was poor last week but why no Batchelor this week? Zmarzlik peerless performance as you'd expect in this company but the rest of the Gorzow team were very, very poor.

Doyle seems to be lacking top end speed, again without scoring a point Swidnicki looked quick enough in that company. Predpelski again impressive in heat 10 to pass Chugunov & chase down Woffinden who looked like he was about to pass Lindgren until the Pole gave him something else to think about. Madsen/Chugunov battle in heat 11 best race of the weekend so far, another assist to Predpelski who blocked Drabik out of contention early on. Another impressive ride from Madsen to complete his maximum in heat 15, though Janowski was going to deny him. Think Holta & certainly Predpelski deserved their nominated outings over Lindgren but less sure Doyle did. Częstochowa certainly look like the team that is best placed to deny Leszno this year. Without doubt they're the best two teams in the league, Wroclaw could end up in a battle for the play-offs with FZG & Grudziądz with one of them missing out. Is betting allowed in Ekstraliga, what are the odds looking like? Onto Rybnik v Gorzow, surely Rybnik's best chance of some league points.
-
That might be the most accomplished & closest lap 1 of heat 2 I think I've witnessed in Ekstraliga. Lindgren looking slow, hope Bewley gets more than 2 heats, visits to Leszno & Częstochowa are a baptism of fire. Predpelski looks much more confident than he did in this fixture last year. Poor first ride from Woffinden. Fabulous ride from Drabik in heat 6 after making a mess of the start, Miskowiak keeping Fricke at bay also impressive. Another poor ride from Woffinden in heat 7, good team riding from the Madsen but not really sure it was required. Upto heat 8, will have to watch the rest later.
-
Finished Leszno v Lublin, racing not better towards the end certainly. Heat 15 being the pick I think, great effort in vain by Michelsen. Częstochowa vs Wrocław next This is the one I've been looking forward to and fortunately have managed to avoid seeing the result on Social Media.

Leszno v Lublin... Good win for Lidsey in heat 3, no clue who he is replacing with the change of heat line-ups in Ekstraliga this year. Kurtz? Track very dusty. Lidsey is a man possessed, great ride in heat 5 to pass both Zagar & Laguta. Hampel helping his former employers out more than his current in heat 6 as Pawlicki & Kubera pass him with ease. Heat 7 seems to have gone missing from YouTube recordings???? I'll watch the rest later, her ladyship has arisen.
-
Oh OK, sorry. Decent chase by Tonder on Pr Pawlicki, but couldn't find a way past neither could Buczkowski on a slow looking MJJ in previous heat. Heat 5 first decent race Pr Pawlicki & MJJ both look quicker than in their first outings. Before heat 6 assume there has been a downpour as they're getting covered in mud & struggling. Scruffy first attempt to run heat 9, tapes did not go up on the outside? Both Vaculik & the FZG reserve made a mess of the first turn. Fairplay to home reserve Krakowiak for winning heat 12, held his own under pressure from Buczkowski in the first turn then kept him at bay for 4 laps. Good first lap from Laguta to overcome Vaculik in heat 14, both have had poor nights by their standards. Amazed Lindback was nominated. Last heat decider, looked so good for visitors for about a quarter of a lap as they emerged from the gate on a 5-1 which would have won them the meeting but both Danes are passed down the back-straight. Poor meeting, only thing that kept it interesting was the close score. Pedersen probably most impressive but then nowhere in the last heat.

Chopped up FZG v Grudziądz here -
-
The YouTube video I watched only showed that incident from one angle, home straight & both Lambert & Lebedevs were partially hidden behind a fence. Should be 3 good meetings this weekend, Leszno v Lublin being the obvious exception. Probably Rybniks best chance to win a home meeting. Chestchowa have started on fire but Wroclaw were comfortable winners there last year. And the FZG X Grudziadz could be decisive in terms of final play-off position*. Neither have had a stella start to the season. *Unless with limited time play-offs have been abandoned? Dont know haven't been keeping up with news.

Bad day. Just watching heats 10-15. Rybnik's #6 needs to grow some, made a great gate in heat 10 and just backed off entering the first corner. #7 no better, made the gate in heat 12 but may aswell have invited the home riders through. Great ride heat 13 from Buckzkoski. Heat 14, was decent. First running of heat 15 was interesting, Rybnick emereged from bend 2 on a 1-5, Lebedevs basically spent the next 3 laps blocking Lambert who did his best to keep pedersen from passing them both. Laguta had drifted off. Just before they enter the last lap Lambert gives it his all around the outside to overcome Lebedevs, which he does but as he starts to make the first bend turn for the final time Lebedevs hits him from behind, yet Lambert excluded? Different. Second running wasn't worth watching, hope Lebedevs is well. Laguta maximum, bit of a joke really.

Watching Grudziadz v Rybnik now. Heat 2. Turowski remembered to turn, glad he did the others forgot, looked like 4 laps of accident waiting to happen. Heat 3. Great ride by Lebedevs. Heat 4. Good defensive ride by Sczepaniak. He never rode like that for Poole. Heat 5. Hectic first lap, didn't know where too look. Pawlicki looking far from a GP berth he had a few years ago. Heat 9. Lebedevs knows he's riding for Rybnik? At least despite the Latvian's best efforts they salvaged a 3-3. I think, YouTube video isn't showing recaps or heat result. Need sleep now, I'll watch the rest in the morning.
-
Good ride Woffinden heat 12, great first couple of laps in heat 13. Good battle in heat 14 between Drabik & Pawlicki, where the hell did Pawlicki go end of lap 3? And Janowski & Sayfutdinov in heat 15, no maximum for the Russian. I think that's the best meeting I've watched from Leszno, shame the result was never in doubt as Fricke, Bewley & the Liszka failed to score, good effort from the other 4.
-
Couldn't repeat it in heat 9 though, Sayfutinov superb. Drabik even better ride in heat 10. Then nowhere in heat 11, which is surely the nail in the Wroclaw coffin.
-
Kurtz surely jumped start in heat 5. Harsh first Ekstraliga away match for Bewley, hoping heat 6 isn't the last time we see him, looks like Pawlicki just edged Woffinden on the line. Wroclaw need a big heat 8. Which they got great ride from Janowski & Woffinden, once Janowski was through Pawlicki was never going to be able to resist Woffinden.
-
Watching Leszno v Wroclaw now. Janowski & Chuganov looked quicker than the Bulls they were chasing in heats 1 & 2 but couldn't find a way past, wonder if the track isn't prepared as norm. Drabik did himself no favours looking for Woffinden when he almost came off, should have just stuck to his line, fortunately for him Pawlicki nearly wiped Kurtz out which allowed him back through. Not really sure why first running of heat 4 was stopped, sure Fricke hit Kolodziej but no one hit the shale.

Just watched FBZ v Częstochowa on YouTube, what a total humiliation for the home side. Lindback & MJJ terrible. Impressed with Miskowiak in heat 4. Correct decisions on Madsen pipping Dudek on the line & Protasiewicz when he clipped Lindgren. All of Chestochowa impressed, I thought the wheels were about to come off when Predpelski trailed in last but he came back strong & Holta while not getting a huge score also in the mix. Doyle was untouchable but Madsen coming from last to join Doyle in heat 15 was the ride of the night. I don't think any home riders impressed Protasiewicz grabbed two consolation heat wins late on but it was only 3-3 as Tonder probably wasn't keen to get anywhere near his senior partner having been almost knocked off by him in heat 6. Vaculik the only other home rider I think won a heat? I'll watched Leszno v Wroclaw when I get back from the shops.
-
In the battle to meet Rybnik in the relegation playoffs, Stal Gorzów Wielkopolski made a great leap towards that goal with an utterly abject performance against the only other realistic candidates, Motor Lublin. I watched up to heat 8 live until I was dragged away on fathers day duties, then watched the rest on YouTube later. Karczmarz is the only Gorzow rider who comes out with any real credit today (even he'd given up trying by the end), Thomsen battled early but that was about it. Then heat where Kasprzak & Wozniak gated on 1-5 but eventually conceded a 5-1 summed it up,. Wozniak has been awful both Gorzow meetings so far. All the Goats chipped in with handy points & battled but you know a meeting when Jaroslaw Hampel is top performer is never going to be a classic.

FZG v Chestchowa off? Edit: yes it's off for those late to the party. Tomorrow at 18:00 restaging.
