  1. Were Doyle & Lindgren stats obscured by Czestochowa's cancelled home fixtures? Did Lublin operate RR for a rider for a lengthy period? If so were Laguta & Mikkelsen used wisely and their RR rides in heats they'd surely win? How teams lineup their 1-5 can also affect this. I don't know. I do know I'd rather have Lindgren & Doyle in my team than G Laguta & Mikkelsen.
  2. Nothing wrong with Grigorij Laguta but I don't think he's quite in the same bracket as the genuinely top class riders - Zmarzlik, Woffinden, A Laguta, Madsen, Janowski, Sayfutdinov, Vaculik, Doyle & Lindgren. At 36 he's unlikely to improve too. So Lublin don't have an out & out #1 they have a very good second heat leader and 4 third heat leaders. With the best tail in the league they should be very competitive. Kasprzak & Berntzon in the GP's will be out classed, but they qualified by rights. I can only assume the Polish riders fall out with the National team boss is how Kasprzak was nominated for the GP challenge ahead of Piotr Pawlicki & a few others
  3. Nit picking. They don't have a GP rider of which there are 15, so all things being equal most teams will have 2 GP riders.
  4. I'm guessing Drabik missing is more of an issue for Wroclaw with him being the second Pole in their 1-5 after Janowski.
  5. Allot depends on who lines up at reserve, Miskowiak & Lampart are likely to be the best two in the league I'd suggest but don't watch enough so feel free to correct me. As far as 1-5's go Leszno's title again but Gorzow should push them closer. FZG, Grudziądz Torun look weaker than Lublin to me.
  6. No. Even when I've asked in conversation via email. No comment whatsoever from Brummies management.
  7. They've had a great 1-5 on paper the last two years but have completely failed to deliver results.
  8. Jakub Miskowiak still young enough to be at reserve? Might be old news but Woryna leaving Rybnik.
  9. Ummm. If double up events, do it with one accumalled scoring system Friday (as 2019). Different scoring system Saturday, eliminations (as about 2012). Actually no... That would work but the other way around. Top 16 from Friday, there for Saturday.
  10. Michelsen in fairness to him was a last minute replacement for Smolinski. He didn't have a winter to prepare mentally, financially or mechanically for being a GP rider. He will never be a World Champion but I'm not convinced Thomsen is better.
  11. Blimey, Dudek is in awful form. Drabik & Smektala average less Lambert so without seeing every fixture I'd assume they've not had stellar first years in the Ekstraliga 1-5's. Surely will get picked before Hampel who's the next Pole in the averages after Dudek.
  12. Why? Because he has a Polish license? So does Artem Laguta. Didn't Chuganov ride for Russia in the test match at Bydgoszcz? Haven't checked but sure he did
  13. It was always going to be in Poland, once British Government made it impossible to stage here since that is where all the riders are based & they can get fans in. Lublin is a stupid choice though, its a small venue in Polish Ekstraliga terms and a pretty awful track. Assuming Janowski is still on the Polish team managers blacklist it will be interesting to see who the Poles go with alongside Zmarlzlik. Piotr Pawlicki surely? Kubera will surely be reserve. Woffinden & Lambert (Bewley), Sayfutindov & A Laguta (Chuganov), Lindgren & Berntzon (??), Thomsen & Madsen (??), Doyle & Fricke (Lidsey). Assume Malik, Kvech & a.n.other Czech are finishing last?
  14. You have the top 6 (BZ, TW, FL, MJ, LM & JD) plus Lambert, Kasprzak, Berntzon & Zagar. 6 + 4 = 10. Sayfutindov has had a poor GP year but was in with a shout of title going into the last round of 2019 and top of the Ekstraliga averages. Artem Laguta can be unbeatable on his night, quickest rider in the world if he hits the front, 2nd in the Ekstraliga averages in a team that has seriously under performed. Fricke is young, was poor generally but won a round deserves another year. So it's basically 2 from Anders Thomsen (Danish Champion), Grigorij Laguta (6th in Ekstraliga averages, 3rd in SEC) or Martin Vaculik. Covid could play a huge part in this, if there is likely to be a Russian GP or a Danish GP then that might edge it for rider from that country. I gave up looking at the state of Covid infections around Europe once my last holiday was cancelled.
  15. From top at one point to bottom, but I survived. Call me Jason Doyle!
  16. Because the club want to keep potential season ticket holders,? Perhaps,?
  17. Why oh why do you feel the need to SHOUT and conduct this in public?I replied via email, but if the refunds were transferred to the bank account they were sent from, they had not been reviewed at 15:00(ish) 24/07.
  18. You wanna do this in public; fine. Email sent to Peter via email on 24/08 less than 90 minutes after finally receiving correspondence that the season was cancelled. As yet unanswered We'd be quite happy to carry over our season tickets for 2021, but do have concerns. The first is regarding retaining the same team, what is the Jason Garrity situation? I heard rumours of trouble with police & possible imprisonment?Replacing Thomas H. Jonasson with Valentin Grobauer was a last minute change which weakened the team significantly, surely with a whole winter a more adequate replacement could be found? Or the team strengthened elsewhere.Chris Harris is another year older.Along with the cancellation of the UK Speedway season, we have also had 3 holiday's cancelled, which have yet to be re-arranged. I've never had quite so much AL from work to take. Until those plans have been rearranged and the fixtures are released I'm not even sure we would be able to attend the ten fixtures we paid to attend in advance next year, if we were only able to attend 8, could two be carried over the next year? I copied you in on the next email, you didn't respond either. But here it is.... As you seem incapable of replying to several questions I posed, it is regrettable since I'd really like to support my local speedway team but I think we'll take a refund on our tickets. I'd appreciate the returned funds as soon as possible.
  19. I got an email from Peter on 24/08. I replied with several questions less than an hour and a half later. I followed up with another email as I'd had no response on 10/09. Still had no response.
