  1. Only just got on PC, did Hampel really just pass Janowski? Score suggests Wroclaw struggling without Woffinden.
  2. Undoubtedly. I only realised Prague had been.put back to Cardiff date. If they're likely to have crowds I've got ticket for that. Jesus, hadn't even stared cancelling the various bookings we had in Wales for the previous week let alone looking into the possibility of traveling to Prague.
  3. Finished Grudziadz meeting, better than offering from Lublin. Janowski was superb, Laguta not far behind but Woffinden absence cost them the points. Bewley & Chugonov did Ok but no real backup. Will probably be able to watch today's evening match live on stream.
  4. Ah.. don't understand commentary Badly injured? Thanks. Not sure I'll be very productive at work Monday!
  5. YouTubing Friday. First Ekstraliga match I think I've watched where all 14 riders are competitive* - Lublin & Czestochowa have best reserves. Lampart much improved on previous showings this year. Great team riding from Madsen heat 9 to keep Smektala in front & Laguta behind. Kowalski was looking good to join Smektala for a 1-5 in heat 12 before he lost it, most exciting first lap of the meeting. Apart from Madsen bring untidy, fast & uncompromising a few times only pass of note from Cierniak. * - except the very out of sorts Buczkowski. Very dark in Grudziadz, need new bulbs in their floodlights! Since when is Bewley Monster sponsored? Good battle heat 2 for 2nd. Bizarre Woffinden exclusion, clearly in front of Pawlicki. Great ride Janowski in rerun, Pedersen & Pawlicki... Oh dear. Janowski again superb in hear 9. Heat 10 will be my last until tonight. Bewley looks quick enough in this company which is positive.
  6. Holy Christ. I'd better cancel being sociable after 1 weekend. Lublin v Czestochowa 49-41 Grudziadz v Wroclaw 41-49. Laguta maximum. Leszno v Torun. 55-35. Czestochowa v Zielona Gora. 45-45. Grudziadz v Gorzow. 40-50. Lublin v Wroclaw. 46-44. Lublin 12 points ahead after heat 12.
  7. Finished Youtubing Gorzow/Lublin. Good heat 3, Thomsen impressive. Heat 4, Zmarzlik looked like he was going to team ride but Cierniak (I've more than aware of him now) too quick for Jasinski. Heat 7, can Zmarzlik not start 10 metres back to make things more interesting, he's in different stratosphere to the others. Karczmarz surprised me getting better of Cierniak. Heat 8. Thomsen lucky to be in re-run. Heat 10. Did Vaculik's back wheel hit Michelsen's leg causing him to fall? Difficult to tell from any angle, but as first bend right decision to have all 4 back. What a great heat to replay for Gollob's 50th, Kasprzak was the one Gorzow rider who was the other? Lublin kept that fairly close until heat 13 but Gorzows top 4 just too good and they streaked away, can see that happening allot. Thomsen again impressive in heat 14. Surprised Buckzkowski beat Wozniak though neither at their best. Vaculik superb in heat 15 to overcome Michelsen & Laguta, Zmarzlik looks unbeatable. Whats gone wrong with Wiktor Lampart?
  8. Poor meeting in terms of passing from what I saw, expect more from Czestochowa track. Glad that Latvian Stream was working! Leszno v Torun 55-35. Czestochowa v Zielona Gora tough to call, 47-43. Grudziadz v Gorzow, 42-48. Lublin v Wroclaw, 46-44.
  9. Missed first 4 heats, I seem to be bad luck for Czestochowa even when watching online! What wrong with Lindgren?
  10. I'll try to watch the Lions v Bulls stream later (as I have to be on PC to do something for work at that time) but Lublin in Gorzow will be Youtubed tomorrow most likely will keep an eye out for Cierniak. With the likes of Karczmarz & Krakowiak in the 1-5's reserves are harder to spot.
  11. I'd forgotten Wictor Lampart when I said Jakub Miskowiak would be stand out Ekstraliga reserve! Understood on new rules mean Doyle had to move (didn't stay to upto date with stuff over winter), Lindgren & Madsen have been with Lions for a few years and are at least his equal (apart from 2016 & 2017). I'll only really notice Poles I've never heard of before when they beat someone I wouldn't expect them to beat - see Pawliczak earlier. Swidnicki was exciting to watch last year, if Częstochowa have 3 capable reserves that's a real bonus for them, any other young Poles to keep an eye out for?
  12. I may have been harsh but compared to Zmarzlik's first outing of the year I know who looks more likely to be World Champion this year! They will surely be the main contenders (again). I suspect had it mattered Woffinden would have put more into heat 15 and suspect he didn't have set-up quite right in his first outing (often seems to happen to him), was better in 2/3/4 rides.
  13. Should be a barn storming affair in Częstochowa later, I'm sure Doyle & Semktala will be looking to show their former employers what they are missing out on. Could the Lions not afford to keep Doyle? I don't follow Polish speedway that closely but Miskowiak could be the standout reserve this season, what happened to Swidnicki?
  14. Just YoutubedFridays action. Torun did much better in Worclaw than I suspoected. Disappointing first & last rides for Woffinden, you'd have thought he'd be able to get the better of both Holders on his home track. Dropped less points to Torun than his fellow Wroclaw GP riders I guess. Until heat 14 - Good night for Bewley, looked quick, got a good heat wins in 10 and held off Lambert in heat 12. Lambert will surely be disappointed to be out performed by Przedpełski & the Holders. Great heat 14 win for Lambert over Laguta who seemed to lack pace, Bewlwy disappointingly last. Meeting almost completely devoid of passing, Miedziński & Chugunov both poor ^ I can't get used to hearing Lewandowski during a speedway meeting. I do wish the before heat graphics would indicate which Holder brother it is, can't tell until heat 1 is complete and the in-race graphics pop up. More passing first 2 heats in Zielona Gora than all night in Torun. Who is Pawliczak? Never heard of him (nor surprising as I don't follow Polish speedway that much), but good heat win over Pr Pawlicki, Protasiewicz & Bjerre. And again in heat 11 over current/former GP regulars. Much better meeting with decent racing almost every heat. The Pedersen v Fricke/Zagar v Kasprzak being the pick of them. Pedersen (in particular) & Pawlicki kept the meeting closer than I thought Grudziadz would but comfortable home win.
  15. Bloody infuriating trying to get it full screen! What was the link that I thought was hosted in Latvia last year, that always worked well.
  16. I suspect but for Zagars heat 13 fall when he was leading the two Torun riders on a 1-5 he would have been happy with his performance.
  17. Three big home wins before Leszno's visit to the City of the Black Madonna.. Which I'm not brave enough to call, losing at home will have hurt the Champions, Bulls may have advantage as Lions haven't raced yet but the home reserves should have beating of visiting 6-7. Will Torun manage 30 points. Dont think so.
