Looked at today's fixtures on the PGE Ekstraliga site, noticed the semi-finals of the playoffs are already on there, I assume this is automatic by the site? Because no final league position is yet assured. As far as the playoffs go avoiding Leszno in the semi would be advantageous, it looks as if the Bulls will finish 4th could that affect the result of the top two today when Wroclaw travel to Gorzow?

Birmingham Brummies 2020

I've seen enough of Batchelor in Tigers kevlars to hope it isn't him. -
Pedersen's competitive Ekstraliga season is over, Grudziadz will surely be relegated. If Vaculik is riding anywhere except Ekstraliga I've not noticed, Gorzow have had no issue with Zmarzlik & Wozniak riding in Elitserien. How deep are Sheffield Pockets? Haven't noticed Lamberts scores so can't be doing that much better than I'd have thought, Morris has not been great for Brummies on comeback from injury. As for Bates replacement, is Shanes eligible? He hasn't been great for Brummies either! Kemp & Rowe as rolling guests is your best option. In truth you might make the playoffs with that team but Wolves, Aces & Panthers, whoever Tigers face will not have problem in the semi. Do you wanna win the league or make the 66.7% are in end of season party?

Had I known it wasn't on TV, I assumed it was I might have ventured to Monmore for the first time since the only Wolves riders I could bring myself to like in my entire life had his farewell.

I assume Bradford Bulls (tenants) / Bradford Council (owners) can afford to pay for the upkeep of Odsal whereas Owlerton is privately owned.

Was probably the poorest advert for Speedway and Owlerton I've seen live. Having been forced to watch the visit of the Aces from 3/4 bends I was looking forward to standing by the tapes, but ended up on the 3/4 bends after a few heats, the greyhound equipment on the home straight does impair the view. I'd obviously got a good spot higher on the terracing earlier on previous visits. The annoying thing is that you can get a reasonable unimpaired view on the entry of the first turn but it's got yellow hatch paint and some steward is standing guard - why? Best race was Batchelor v/s Pedersen, Howarth didn't really get going I also think Stead missed a trick when Howarth hit the tapes, why didn't he put Bickley in the re-run to get his third ride out of the way? It was rather pointless as it happens because the other Tigers reserve Wright didn't trouble the scorers much but he didn't know that. And I'm afraid Tigers won't make the playoffs unless there is a change. Another thing I think Stead is getting wrong, in the absence of Holder and while Batchelor remains highest in the averages surely putting Ellis at 5, Howarth with Guest at 3 & 4 and Pickering at 2 would make most sense?

Cash or card accepted at gate for entry tomorrow according to Instagram. -
Will likely top the CL averages for how many seasons running? ... higher than Morris, Schlien, Douglas, Nicol, Masters....

Second trip to Owlerton for me this year, first for this Panthers septet I believe. Can Panthers bounce back from home defeat to Belle Vue? Is Jack Holder likely to be fit, if not who guests.

Because almost no-one was wearing a mask in the Grand Stand? Strange meeting really, the early heats it seemed as if all the riders were so fast & smooth it just didn't produce any racing, I bet up to heat 8 no matter who had gate 1 came first and whoever had gate 4 finished last, gate 2 second and gate 3 third more often than not. Until then it seemed as if the Panthers had the advantage but just couldn't pull away. Heat 8 produced a great race between Worrall & Harris. Worrall clearly quicker but impeded by Etheridge in front of both a couple of times which allowed Harris a sniff, they swapped places until the final bend when Worrall failed to take Harris wide enough to end his challenge. Heat 10 was odd, Andersen remonstrated with the referee at the end, obviously thought that Wright has grasstracked to pass him on the inside. During the interval either the Aces found their gating gloves or the Panthers discarded theirs because it was simply one way traffic. Kurtz woke up. Harris had an EF at the tapes, even a Plam Toft TS did nothing to ease the flow of points to the Ace's. MPT had been the most consistent Panther to that point. Heat 15, saw Harris redeem himself a little outfoxing Bewley in a good battle for the minor placings, his EF didn't help but certainly didn't cost Peterborough the meeting. Panthers are a strange team, it's almost as if they have 4 3rd heat leaders, 2 better than average second strings and a reserve. Will see if they can bounce back at Owlerton on Thursday.

Is it a case of grabbing a grandstand spot on arrival again, but I assume all seats will be available as it's England's "freedom day".

Can't see a topic for this & was planning to visit the EoESg for the second time this season. Ostergaard goes from reserve to #1 or did I hear a fake news rumour? Who at reserve? Nicholls? Ace's at full strength?
