Because i wasn't even talking about the meeting, I was looking at the league positions, points available etc. etc.
-
What me? I didn't attend. Only stated facts.

Scunthorpe have finished their league matches with 33 points, Birmingham can equal that with big wins home/away v Diamonds, but look at the +/- points difference. Playoff hopes ended last week. And haven;t even factored in what Kent can do. No-one can seriously expect the Brummies to get any league points from their visit to Ashfield?

Newcastle v Birmingham (Champ) 1830 19/09/21

And Barker & Roynon would be in my favourite ever Brummies septet, yet they're riding to stop Brummies overhauling Scorpions! It would take two unimaginable big wins over the Diamonds for Brummies to make the playoffs in all honesty! Without even considering Kent. -
So no 50 minutes delays for Tractoring? R/R for Shanes when he is third in averages is an advantage in terms of score, less so entertainment. Do the scores of Castagna & Grobauer mean averages mean they'll swap positions any time soon, if so Brummies are stuffed.
-
Hope all who attend enjoy. If I have a strange desire to watch an hour of tractoring I'll watch Clarkson's Farm.
-
Assume Grobauer is still out also so who guests?
-
Just tell Andersen & Harris to stop scoring when you have the last two home matches wrapped up.
-
Weather forecast for Wednesday is dry.
-
Not like they've been riding together recently, Douglas has been at reserve.
-
Yep, R/R at 3 means 4 goes in 12 & 14. Easy.
-
Did you watch heats 1-10. Dreadful stuff. Last 5 heats were decent. Nicol was poor for Wolves, but Pedersen was no better. Kemp out performed Flint, even though he didn't look as quick, just raced smarter. Pressure on Panthers now to win at Owlerton on Thursday. Panthers won at a canter last time they were in Sheffield but Harris scored a load from reserve.
-
Interesting which gates Wolves choose, gate 3 is rubbish but gate 1 the best Assume Morris & Masters v MPT & Harris.
-
it definitely wasn't.
-
Heat 12 was more like it.
-
This is dross, barely a pass of note. Only interesting because of the importance of the result for league position. Doubt we'll see B*yawn*e again, pants! Could be the worst meeting I've seen at Monmore.

Rubbish GP. How's Lindgren?

Birmingham Brummies 2020
Col replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
After the last two meetings at Perry Barr where the supporters spent more time watching tractors go around the track than 500cc bikes and the woeful showing at Edinburgh. I think it's time to pray the Brummies are with us in 2022. Absolute disaster of a season. -
I haven't tried that route, I have got on the M6, got on the M5, got off next junction and Black Country Routed from West Brom it to Willenhall (which is not great but bearable) after that it gets awful! I don't know Walsall at all, but Sat Nav has tried taking me further along the A34, which is possibly a better option I just don't know the route.

I'm not convinced Wright was the rider to complain, he was already on the back straight ready for heat 5 (along with Shanes & Morris) when the Dave Rowe asked the clerk of the course to speak to the referee over the PA (which I could hear as the tractor wasn't going around).
