Decent entertaining meeting that lacked any breath taking action, but another one sided affair, Doyle's two gremlins didn't help the Witches cause but other than Tungate, thei r was no points scoring backup for their #1. King & Batchelor were both disappointing, Starke & latterly Summers chipped in, Hume even with a 15 metre head start on Blodorn in heat 2 still never looked like scoring. What Batchelors hand gestures to Doyle were as he coasted around after shedding a chain were all about I do not know. Couple of Aces mentions, firstly Fricke who didn't make a gate all night but was very fast, don't think he was happy with King and tried everything to pass Doyle in heat 13. Wright for not backing out when he was the meat in an Ipswich sandwich when Doyle was on a TS and Brennan who didn't drop a point after the EF in his first ride. Crowd could have been the best of the season?

@Baldyman do you want this program?

Sheffield v Kings Lynn isn't on TV? Then why are Tigers riding on a Monday?

LaBona chicken curry & chips was decent, thanks.

I'm aware, I usually park on the business car parking on the left side of the A34, getting on/off the OneStop is a mild pain. I don't confess to knowing how close it is to Alexander Stadium as I've not visited in 35 years but believe it isn't far. If they've clamped down on parking there it'll be a pain. So other than Sedgeman the Brummies are devoid of heat leaders?

I'm correct that this will be Birmingham's final league meeting of the season? Other than Sedgeman, Neilsen & Pearson are any Brummies riders available? Also has CWG nearby meant any extra parking restrictions? It shouldn't since CWG tickets included public transport within the West Midlands but I don't wish to get caught out.

Has anyone had a LaBona Pasta from the van on Kirmanshulme Lane? If so any good?

In one way I agree, it should be a great match, the best possible advert for British Speedway. But I wanna get home before midnight! Yes loads of urban roads around, even if you can't park on Kirkmanshulme lane head towards Longsight market and there will be somewhere to park.

How have Summers & Tungate faired at NSS previously?
-
For who? Kurtz, Fricke & Tungate all survived their Polish league fixture uninjured.
-
Not as far as I can tell by looking at the lineups listed on Sportowefakty
-
Doyle fell in his last heat during Leszno's home defeat by Czestochowa last night but Sportowefakty suggests he's uninjured. Kurtz, Tungate, Blodorn, Fricke & Zagar are due to ride in Polish league outings still this weekend while Etheridge has an outing for Berwick.

So this will be the first look at the new Witches septet, it's Doyle, Starke, Tungate, King, Batchelor, Summers & Hume?

The ticket office on Kirkmanshulme Lane in the Grand Stand is usually open when I get there around 18:00, can't imagine there will not be seats available. Programmes are definitely on sale in the Grand Stand also, but I get one included in my season ticket once I've read the stuff in it which I read you can have it.
