  1. Iversen did Nowak no favours in heat 15 first turn. 6 minutes until Zielona Góra v Bydgoszcz!! That's not enough time to get petrol!
  2. And they got 5-1'd by Lebedevs & Rew, I haven't got an excuse to not clean the bathroom now
  3. Becker's yellow helmet covering isn't very yellow. Łódź need a 1-5 from Iversen & Kurtz.
  4. Now Marcin Nowak has come to the party this could be very close, track still needs allot more water very dusty after only two heats following a good bowsering, when is the next interval after heat 11?
  5. Krosno track needs some water. Unless Becker has 7 rides thi is going to get away from Łódź.
  6. Hope Fricke & Brennan start meetings with 1-5 less frequently than Fricke & Etheridge did.
  7. According to Sportowefakty Musielak is due to appear at Rzeszow tomorrow so he'll be missing. Witches will be gifted some points at the EoESg you'd imagine. Masters average is too high but Stars & Wolves are the riders available. Much rather Pickering or Becker guested than Klindt from an entertainment POV. But I've never witnessed Klindt at the NSS.
  8. Not at all keen on Lublin compared to other Ekstraliga tracks if I'm honest, but it's better than Gdansk.
  9. Oh I see, it's column C in the table. So Fricke & Musielak will be at #1 Monday, wonder if Kurtz stays in the engine room with Wright with Zagar at #5 or revert to the start of league campaign line-up. Holder's average lower then Ellis so if it is R/R for Ellis all Tigers can take a ride. Holder uninjured as Torun beat Lublin 50-40 last night.
  10. So it's the final league match of the campaign at the NSS on Monday (boy, that went quick) and the Tigers from across the Pennines are the visitors. Both league A matches were humbling experiences for the visiting team on each occasion, but most visitors to the NSS have been humbled since Sheffield last visited with the exception of Wolverhampton this week. According to the GSA's on the BSPA site, issued 26.08 Zagar remains at #1 for the Aces but are they now out of date? Looking at http://speedway-stats.co.uk/ Fricke is highest in the averages for the Aces and Musielak is highest in the averages for the Tigers. Etheridge remains at reserve according to both figures. Holder is representing Torun against Lublin in PGE Ekstraliga play offs, while Musielak (Kronso), Kurtz (Łódź), Zagar (Bydgoszcz) & Fricke (Zielona Góra) are all involved in eWinner 1. Liga playoffs. Ellis is also expected to be at Łódź for third (& final) round of the SEC but guessing there maybe a late fitness test. KOC Championship fixtures this evening Redcar Bears v Edinburgh Monarchs and Scunthorpe Scorpions v Leicester Lions so I believe Kerr & Mountain as well as Wright will be on duty? Can't think any other riders involved in this "Wars of the Roses" will be involved in Championship action.
  11. Yeah, I had looked at speedway stats that morning which was already updated, Douglas was second in the averages then so I assumed Masters could take an R/R. It has since updated following yesterdays meetings and Becker is second, above Douglas. My thoughts exactly.
  12. There is passing at Monmore, but it only occurs because the track has caught a (visiting) rider out.
  13. That would be some commitment 28 years after I last attended a Cradley fixture. I've moved on.
  14. Kurtz rode well, Wright was riding well, Zagar had a moment early on, Fricke had a few moments and that's your lot from the Aces. Blodorn I can forgive he doesn't ride tracks such as Monmore often but Etheridge & Brennan were equally awful.
  15. Pickering will make the meeting more interesting but I don't think he scores well on his Monmore visits. Didn't say I had, just had a quick look at http://speedway-stats.co.uk/. I did look at the GSA's before starting the thread to see if Ace's line-up would need to change - was Zagar still #1. Should have checked program I suppose as believe averages are listed, but after reading what I want it gets shoved in a pocket. Thought this morning's meeting was one of the poorer offerings entertainment wise this season which is a shame because the crowd in the Grandstand was the best of the season. Aces were generally lackluster with the exception of the reserves & Fricke Blodorn deserved an extra ride instead of Wright in heat 14 & if eligible a heat 15 outing also, easily the most impressive Ace on show. Wolves just don't have the fire power to win at the NSS against this Aces team, Masters did all you can expect of him, Fricke hunted him down to take victory on the line in heat 13. Becker was the best visitor, the 0 on his scorecard was unlucky, he wasn't gating really and in heat 12 had nowhere to go. Kurtz was as wide as anyone went (3/4 towards the fence), Blodorn was hugging the white line while Kemp.was trying to cover both lines to Keep both Aces behind. Morris was poor, Worrall started Ok but faded, Flint was gating well.& riding a decent line just didn't have enough speed to keep home riders behind him.
  16. Both were decent this morning! Flint deserved more points than he got.
  17. I assume Worrall has a higher current average than Douglas then? Sure that wasn't the case when I looked at Speedway Stats this morning.... but that did have Fricke as highest in Aces averages.
  18. As Wolves used Masters as a TS earlier, Wolves could have used Masters as RR in heat 14.
  19. The Zagar & Brennan, Wright & Kurtz pairings opening two rides were awful. Nick Morris (awful at the NSS) winning heat 6 with Zagar & Brennan nowhere near him, then coming out a heat later to be passed and comfortably beaten by Etheridge? Next Morris outing Drew Kemp was faster and had to keep switching off to avoid hitting him. Brennan only got a paid win in heat 8 because Blodorn (Aces best rider so far) was so forceful when passing the Wolves pair he couldn't help but follow him through. Be harsh if Becker doesn't get a R/R due to Masters taking one R/R as a TS, Becker is easily quickest Wolf after the start.
