Did Lambert make an appearance?

Jordan Palin returns!

Becker will be 24 by the time the 2023 season leaves the tapes He has enough experience in the UK and on the continent. It's now or never for him to have a statement season. Needs to top the averages for Wolves & Zielona Gora.

Hadn't seen that interview. I take it no announcement(s) from "The Maugers"?
-
And what would they have done had Harris not crashed out of the semi, which would have seen the Panthers in the final? Adjust the scores with Wolves going ahead of the Witches? Order the whole meeting restaged? Restage the semi & final?
-
Maybe you're right, only Bewley knows for sure but time will tell. I think he'll be back league racing in GB next year most likely as Belle Vue's #1. Wasn't 2022 Bewley's first year in Elitserien? He certainly didn't ride in Sweden in 2021 as he was with Wroclaw & the Aces.
-
I fail to see how Fricke differs from Bewley & Lambert in terms of ambition. Fricke rode in UK this year because he was riding second tier in Poland. Bewley & Lambert were restricted from doing so riding in Ekstraliga. All will likely be Ekstraliga riders next year but with the restrictions lifted can ride in the UK. Personally I can't see Lambert returning to British league, but Bewley I can. Lambert has seemed at odds with his parent club (Kings Lynn) for some time whereas Bewley seems still have affinity for the NSS & the Aces. The fact he could be bothered to compete in the British final says allot. Everything seems ominously quiet on the Fricke front - after a poor GP season perhaps he feels he's been too busy this year. It may just because he's been injured that he's been relatively quiet. Zagar seems keen to return.
-
Fricke 8.55, Zagar 7.20 big difference in team building resources.
-
I'm sure most fans would but it is unrealistic! If Bewley can be persuaded to return I'm guessing it is one of Zagar & Kurtz.
-
If the points limit is 46.00! That septet comes to 45.92 Dan Bewley 8.92 2021 9.14 less 2.5% Brady Kurtz 8.24 Matej Zagar 7.20 Charles Wright 6.26 2022 6.42 less 2.5% Norick Blodorn 5.45 Jaimon Lidsey 5.16 2019 Tom Brennan 4.69 2022 5.68 less 25%

Even the referee didn't know the rules, he went to the pits to talk to the team managers. In every way Wolves should have been in the semi. Most heat wins and out scored the Panthers & Tigers in the three heats involving those pairs.
-
Zagar will be ill Monday he thinks! Maybe Lambert will ride He was too injured o turn up for the Championship Parade at the NSS, so unlikely. Wright injured, Etheridge inured. Might be Blodorn, Monday.

King of Beaumont Park apparently.

Dudek to Leicester. Hmmm. Pretty sure Zagar won't be a Lion after tonight's post meeting chat at the NSS, he's planning to be ill Monday. Has he ever ridden at Leicester before? -
What a shabby way to end a cracking season of racing at the NSS for the Aces (no ne remembers the league cup do they?) The track looked like it had allot more material on it when I got there at 18:45 then normal and it was detrimental to the racing, which was poor. Kurtz rounding Masters, Eriksson getting the better of the Panthers down the back straight, a smart first corner from Doyle and Harris bouncing Zagar out the way were the only action I can think of. The "who qualifies" for the semi was a joke, why didn't Masters, Harris & Holder or Sedgeman, Douglas & Basso or Pjiper, Mountain & Jenkins have a runoff? Wouldn't have taken as long and at least it would have been transparent! Any chance of Belle Vue overhauling the Witches overall (if the 6th round happens) disappeared when Harris bombed out on the final lap with Riss at the back! Riss was never going to beat Kurtz or Zagar whatever Doyle did. Hope Harris & Pjiper are OK, after their big spills. Didn't get in the car 'ti l22:05, 50 minutes later than a normal night at the NSS. At least the roads were good onn the way home!
-
So Wolves/Panthers/Tigers into semi? Sheffield haven't won a heat, I'd think that rules them out, Wolverhampton beat Peterborough 6-3 in heat 14.?
-
Track doesn't look like it'll need much bowser action, looks like it's had some fresh material on since I was last here.

Ridiculous statement. Owlerton is better than Monmore for most Lions supporters I'd think! Anyway, all three are Greyhound stadiums and there will undoubtedly be Greyhound racing on a Saturday night Monmore might be available on Monday but that is all. -
Hope the weather in Manchester is better than it is in Staffordshire this morning. Assume the Sheffield hosting of the pairs will now not take place, the question seems to be can the Aces overhaul the Stars & Tigers to claim second, the Witches have an unassailable lead.

Last 3 heats turned the tide looking at the scores before that Lions in control.
