If they are incorrect then they were taken from the BSPA website.

I'm no mathematician, but EL only rider converting to PL * 1.4 averages.. Looks stupid. Is there a limit, of say 11.00, because even Jason Doyle, NKI or Chris Holder on top form cannot average above 12.00. Zagar 7.48 10.472 Fricke 6.94 9.716 Kasprzak 7.91 11.074 Harris 6.62 9.268 Woryna 4.65 6.51 Iversen 9.02 12.628 Batchelor 4.96 6.944 Jonsson 8.45 11.83 Nilsson 6.84 9.576 Bridger 5.94 8.316 Korneliussen 6.04 8.456 Schlien 5.9 8.26 Swiderski 5.2 7.28 Mear 3.65 5.11 Hougaard 6.22 8.708 Wozniak 5.91 8.274 Walasek 5.45 7.63 Ulamek 6.6 9.24 Watt 5.4 7.56 Holder 8.58 12.012 B Pedersen 6.9 9.66 Andersen 7.15 10.01 Kurtz 6.4 8.96 Buczkowski 6.09 8.526 Ellis 5.56 7.784 Doyle 9.78 13.692 Morris 6.89 9.646 Sedgeman 5.69 7.966 Lindgren 7.21 10.094 Thorsell 7.06 9.884 Kylmakorpi 6.68 9.352

Surely Hampel will get a Wilcard spot, if the series think that it requires 4 Poles. In the 3 rounds in 2015 which Hampel competed before getting injured he'd finished 3rd, made a semi and finished 2nd.
-
Ellis will surely be at Lakeside on that average if it is confirmed, as ridiculous as it is. Are you going to resign Kurtz? What a GP debut that was endangering anyone he got close to... yet finishing last

I'm sure I read a press release a day or 2 ago that made me sure the Ace's would be back next year. I'm sure if Zagar is too expensive you will have riders to fill that void lining up, MJJ said he wished to return to the BEL next year. As the obvious venue for any British hosted FIM events Belle Vue should be prime candidates.

I am certain had Doyle been fit and potentially clinching the World Championship the crowd would have been higher, but it was all over as far as the Gold Medal was concerned. Before the event. Disgraceful from Hancock allowing Holder past, after he had secured the World Title. Fair play to Woffinden for finishing second despite his mate gifting points to his rivals for second. So glad Janowski & Lindgren finished outside the top 8, Lindgren had secured his spot for next year and we don't need Bjerre as a full time GP rider ever again. I would have preferred Iversen & Zagar to finish top 8 but I'll take Lindback & Zagar finishing higher than Janowski. Hampel, Pedersen, Zagar & Sayfutdinov as the permanent Wildcards for 2017. While there was some great racing the track was very inconsistent. Dear god please never allow Brady Kurtz near a world championship for a few years, dreadful yet dangerous. Sad to bid farewell to AJ on the GP scene, always thought he had the potential to be a world champion, but not ruthless enough. I like Bomber but he wont be missed at GP level. Glad both can concentrate on their league racing now. Hancock & Holder should be banned from the first GP of next year in my opinion. It was embarrassing.

Iversen Lambert Whatever else fits.
-
You could fit the Purfleet track inside most Polish & Swedish tracks. How is it even mildly representative if you do that? Shall we include the USA & Australia? How on Earth do you factor those in?
-
Will be 21 in March next year when the next season starts.

I must say I am very surprised the Yorkshire Tigers overcame the Scottish Tigers. Looking at scores alone on http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/16293/glasgow-sheffield-plpo-sf-30pm without attempting analyse Stead would surely have scored more than the 6+1 R/R managed. Would Garrity have scored 8+1 (from 5) Robson managed. Despite that Howarth & Sissis appeared to be the Sheffield match winners. Is there any chance of the injured trio returning for the final?
-
Woffinden's last average for Wolves before he returned for the playoffs this year was in 2014, less than 2 years ago. I actually think that had Wolves used Kylmäkorpi in the play offs rather than Woffinden it would not have made any difference, except intimating the opponents. What were Woffinden's scores exactly? He was hardly unbeatable during the play-offs.

I assume he lives in the North of the UK, where he is from? From where I live on the outskirts of Wolverhampton without traffic issues I can get to Coventry in just over an hour. It would take at least 3 hours to get to Kings Lynn. I doubt that would be a drive Havelock would endure.

Because Newman is 24 and started riding league speedway in 2007, Ellis is 21 and started riding league speedway in 2012.
-
Thinking Kennett & King must be 30 by the start of the next season. But a pretty ridiculous statement I admit. Was thinking of Rose & Kerr but then remembered that Garrity, Newman & the Worralls fit into that maybe even Lawson & Wright. It needs to be looked at on an individual basis. With all the talented British riders coming from Motorcross when in their early 20's we need to give them a chance to come to grips with British Speedway League racing. Certainly James Serjeant should not have an EL reserve spot unless he stops jumping the gate every ride! Howarth should not spend time at reserve, any more either.
-
Ellis is young enough to allow some average reduction, sorry but Newman is 24. GP stars Zmarzlick and Piotr Pawkicki are younger.
-
Harris, Masters, Thorsell & Clegg should start the Wolves team building process, if they can fit Lindgren in great. Not sure I'd be that bothered about resigning Howarth.
-
There should be some incentive for young Brits to give the Elite a try, Ellis is a prime example. The fact that it appears an NL club will pay him enough to ignore the PL means that NL club needs to be a PL club! I would scrap the EL Draft system. Every team must field 3 Brits, at least 1 of those must be under 20. However every Brit aged under 30 averaging under 6.5 comes in on half their PL average.
-
Blue Sky thinking. Milik maybe but on 9.12 a point higher than Lindgren? Janowski I doubt it if he retains his GP spot. Stead, the Sheffield fans are hoping he retires due to injuries, when he has been their main man for a while, I very much doubt THJ would deem these shores worthy of his efforts again.

No I was not wrong. It may have been the Speedway Star 2 weeks ago but it was definitely on the SGP website last week. 10/10: MJJ MULLS OVER UK COMEBACK So that was a week ago on Monday.
-
No it was released on the SGP website at some point last week. Wed or Thurs at a guess.

I have sympathy with Ellis's cause, he had no PL spot last year. With Kurtz being fairly useless and the Speedway chicane B*yawn*e Pedersen spending most of the year at reserve, he had a rough year. Being forced into the main team for most of the year. He rode well to attain the average he did without having a PL spot and only riding CL. He above all others deserves a reduction for riding over half the season in the main body of the team, I would give the likes of Clegg & Eliis (NL riders) a 3.50 average for the start of the next EL season. Surely his parent club Lakeside will offer him a spot. I'd take him over Bridger for sure. Newman has spent far too long being a match winning reserve, Ellis is 20, Newman is 24. Give youth a chance. Whch is also why I'd give Bates an average reduction rather than Sarjent. Although Sarjent annoys me constantly trying to jump the gate. I haven't seen enough of the other ELD riders such as Rose & Lewis to comment. Don't think Jacobs will ever achieve anything away from the NSS.
-
No stupid draft for EL reserves. All British riders under 21 who held down a PL spot last year come in on half their PL average regardless of their EL average. If a rider had a EL spot but no PL spot so ride CL and is under 21, 3.50. Any new foreign new comers are 4.5. Any new comers or returners (after 2 years) who were selected for SGP or SWC event's in 2016, come in on 8.00 If a rider has ridden in the PL or EL but not in the previous 2 seasons. They retain their previous average only if they completed 6 recent (3 year) matches in the UK. Otherwise 7.00 if elected for recent (2 years) SEP, SGP or SWC events. 6.00 otherwise.

I don't know. I have been to Swindon once, for some awful EL pairs event, I think Richardson & Ulamek beat Hancock & McGowan in the final. I could be very wrong on that. Wolves fielded Correy, who couldn't get around Cradley in his pomp let alone around Blunsden in after several years of retirement. Such was the level of interest. It was complete tripe. Personally, I think Doyle averaging 9.75 under current heat format is comparable to a rider averaging near 11 under the old heat format. And that matters? It is Poole after all. I can cope with Ellis being given a reserve spot on a 4.00 average (surely Lakeside will have him) but Starke & Newman are in the mid 20's and have no chance of being anything other than an EL reserve. They should not be allowed to be in any EL draft for the forth coming season on anything other than their genuine EL average. Kasprzak, Holder & Andersen = 7.91 + 8.58 + 7.15 = 23.64 Good luck getting them all to turn up for every fixture and finding point scoring reserves & second strings for such a team.
