  1. Not quite. Rye House (PL) 12/9/2016 Kenneth Bjerre - 3,2,3,3,3 = 14 Workington (PL) 09/9/2016 Kenneth Bjerre -- 2, 3, 3, 3, 1 = 12 12 + 14 / 10 * 4 = 10.4
  2. No. He only did two meetings. 8.22 is his 2015 EL average with Kings Lynn of 5.87 * 1.4
  3. It was from here - http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/pl16_issue_33.pdf but it was 3.6 not 3.9. Must have had a stunning last month for the Monarchs.
  4. Unspectacular but... Kylmakorpi 9.35 Wright 6.59 Grajczonek 8.90 Starke 6.62 Tungate 9.03 Allen 5.96 Leave's. 3.55 for the final spot.
  5. Did those two pairs actually ride for the same team? I would go for Jonsson & Kennett to top the list. Starke & Auty second. Iversen & Lambert third.
  6. Indeed. Plus Berwick, Workington, Newcastle & Redcar are significantly closer to Glasgow than Belle Vue. Scunthorpe & Sheffield are a similar distance I would imagine.
  7. Clegg Max Edinburgh 4.34... I had 3.9 in my head from somewhere.
  8. King (9.57) & K Bjerre (8.22) signed by Coventry. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31603
  9. I take it you have seen both riders on several occasions? Clegg's 2017 team building (2016 PL) average is 3.90, I think. Certainly lower than his 2016 EL average.
  10. Yes I forgot to convert his EL average, I was tired.
  11. I would imagine the local derby with Belle Vue at 219.2 miles away rather unappealing.
  12. Kennett to captain the Rockets. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31602 9.27 starting average.
  13. Poole won't use KK now they have signed Andersen. But you won't sign Klindt either. Can we confirm that King has definitely not agreed to join Kings Lynn? Kasprzak 11.07 Sarjeant 5.8 Garrity 8.55 4. King 9.57 Bates 5.02 7. 9.99
  14. There are mods? That never really works, because people quote him *sigh* Assuming Lindgren, Klindt, Thorsell, Cleeg & Masters are signed. I would offer the penultimate spot to Musielak, if he doesn't wish to ride in Britain then Jonas Anderson, if they accept then Manzares is a shoe in for the last spot IMO. If Wolves don't sign Klindt for 2017 they are mad and I'll have to re-think. Does anyone who is not a Poole fan wish to comment?
  15. Whoever takes over the Belle Vue promotion need to build a team of riders that want to ride for Belle Vue and who are inexpensive, that is clear. You have a track at the NSS that is more beneficial for riders to ride than any other track in the country since it is far more like a Polish track than any other British track. And Poland is the only place a rider can now make serious money. Sell that to the youngsters. Get the best young Brits riding for the Colts, not for money, just for experience. Progress those youngsters through the the Aces. You'll have good years & bad years depending on which youngsters come through. Cooke & the Worralls begin the trend in team building terms for this year. Start with that. Take one of Fricke & Hougaard to bolster points.
  16. At least you haven't included Klindt. Why are all Poole fans so obsessed with getting Newman at reserve on a 6.31 average, do you rate him that low?
  17. I can understand the negativity. When Rye signed Nicholls & Harris, it seemed to be OK, but then Watt & Robson followed. I love watching Robson, great racer but is there any scope for improvement? Nicholls & Harris may improve a bit having a home track that suits them better. And they will make you competitive at least. I don't see many heat wins coming from that team at crucial times. Can see this team doing OK until heat 13, then the 13-5 bomb drops. Can you win a meeting before heat 13. Yes you can. That seems to be the challenge.
  18. Doyle 13.41 2. Bellego 7.63 Ellis 7.84 Morris 7.81 6. 7. 13.31 That is far from disastrous.
  19. I hope Ermolenko does take over the reigns at Leicester, it may keep him from commentating It is difficult to build a team with no asset base & on the lower end of the pay scale. I hope Leicester can out a competitive team together.
  20. So who would you ditch Masters or Thorsell to get Kylmakorpi back?
  21. I did not expect NKI back in the British League this season. KL have better options than signing a rider than cannot possibly retain his starting average anyway. Wouldn't touch Holder for the same reason. R Lambert, K Bjerre, Schlien, Batchelor, Huckenbeck leave the team building with loads of options surely.
  22. Slim pickings I agree, but if Wolves sign Manzares, Wolves have 6.6 to play with and start with Klindt at reserve. Need the fixture computer to deal you early visits to Blunsden & Beaumont Sports Complex. Which I'm sure a savvy promoter can arrange I had never seen that. Would you take him over Thorsell or Masters? You surely won't take all four I'd love to know what a combinarie is. I'm sure within a week or two Manzares would be dynamite around Monmore, most yanks are. Klindt won't stay at reserve long I agree, hence why I suggest early visits to certain tracks. Away wins are priceless. Pick a rider with more potential than Manzares on that average other than Klindt. Especially for Wolves at Monmore Yanks eat that tight track up.
  23. I had forgotten Gino Manzares who is looking for a British ride again starting on his 2015 PL average of 5.43 would fit, allowing Klindt to start at reserve. Leaving 6.6 for the final rider.
  24. Holder has a lower average than Iversen. 0.12 lower only, but still lower.
  25. Once Lindgren had confirmed he was riding in Britain next year & Harris has joined the Rockets that top 3 were nailed on. Assuming Klindt & Clegg are signed. Then it is how do Wolves complete their septet. Do they start with Klindt at reserve with Clegg? If so they have to find two riders with combined averages not above 12.03 but not individually below 5.42. Looking at the final PL averages for 2016, you have. Jakobsen Nikolaj Busk Peterborough 6.50 Newman Kyle Plymouth 6.31 Anderson Jonas Redcar 6.30 Aarnio Tero Newcastle 6.24 Pijper Theo Berwick 6.16 Jensen Rasmus Workington 6.14 Wilkinson Carl Scunthorpe 6.12 Rose Lewis Newcastle 6.12 Kerr Lewis Ipswich/Scunthorpe 5.98 Allen Jake Somerset 5.96 Palovaara Victor Newcastle 5.80 Sarjeant James Ipswich 5.80 Kurtz Todd Plymouth 5.76 Wethers Matthew Berwick 5.65 Nielsen Stefan Plymouth 5.53 None of which I would suggest Wolves would find very appealing. Anderson, maybe given CVS involvement at Redcar. Almost no riders with converted EL averages from last year fit the gaps either. Musielak on 6.34 does converting his 2015 average, I would suggest him returning to British racing is unlikely. So assuming Klindt would start in the top 5. To complete the team. Ricky Wells (7.92) + >4.11 Kyle Howarth (7.18) + >4.85 >7.05 & Ashley Morris (4.98) >10.03 & Luke Chessell (2.00) Be interesting
