Shocking photos, looks like the stadium owners are cutting off their nose to spite their face.

Which is why I don't think there will be a 3rd Brit at Monmore, the Howarth signing seems down to that to me. So American Wells would somewhat makes sense as 3rd heat leader. But that only gives you an extra 1.05 to play with for the final 2 riders. 10.58.

If Wolves end up with that septet I will be amazed. Or anything built along those lines. Which is why I cannot see Masters being included in the Wolves team now.
-
Absolutely no idea where Wolves are going with their team building now Klindt has signed for Poole. After the Howarth signing I didn't think CVS/Adams would sign Masters alongside the two Swedes, it just looks a too top heavy line-up for them.
-
Have you managed to secure a team spot for your hoe* Cyfer yet. Maybe you should try posting his availability on the NL team building thread. *since I can't type wh0r3

With the signing of Howarth, I cannot see Wolves going top heavy. Masters to lead the Rebels with Grajczonek & Tungate as back up. Means potentially... Masters 8.97 Wright 6.59 Grajczonek 8.9 Batchelor 7.36 Tungate 9.03 Allen 5.96 Wajknecht 3 0.19

I don't know much about Porsing, assume he will be in the Stars engine room. Good or bad signing?
-
Yes you do. TR's & heat 15.

The signing of Howarth by Wolves surprised me, once the two Brits per team agreement as in place I thought Harris or Nicholls would nailed on for Wolves. Both of them signing for Rye House means CVS/Adams have probably had to re-think. What the Howarth signing does confirm for me is that Wolves lowest averaging rider to start the year will be Clegg. No 2 pointers. No too top heavy for a CVS/Adams team. Lindgren 10.09 Musielak 6.34 Howarth 7.18 Proctor 6.68 Thorsell 9.88 Clegg 4.34 Klindt 5.42 0.07 to spare.
-
Lindgren will be Wolves highest averaging rider going into next season, there is not a rider out there unsigned or not of being the best rider around Monmore next year with a higher average. If Zagar is as expensive as claimed Wolves wouldn't touch him regardless of average. CVS/Adams very rarely build top heavy teams.

Sarjeant will turn what should be a nailed on reserves heat 5-1, into a 3-3 by jumping the start once every other meeting. Other than Sky matches I haven't seen much of Coventry recently. Is Sarjeant likely to overtake Shanes, Branford & Clegg if he gifts them a 15m start?
-
Someone from the John Perrin school of track preparation has obviously been employed by the Stars.
-
I'm sorry Coventry Speedway fans but that team is poor. I haven't been inspired on 3-4 occasions a season for a while to endure congestion on the M6 to watch the Bee's, I used to. This team wont change that. Think you are hoping allot of the Bjerre's. King will do his job, jury out on Garrity, not sure, not being at Owlerton could help him. Bates is a sensible signing, should improve, not sure next year will be his break through year if he has one. Kerr could be OK. Sarjeant is an awful signing. He could gift less experienced talented 2-6 points because he can't keep his jittery sphincter from continually trying to jump the start.

I was to sad to read of Simon Stead's retirement. My first visit to a Speedway meeting after the closure of Cradley, was at Monmore Green, when Stead was doubling up for Wolves.. His bouncing of the newly installed air fence to pass riders got me hooked again. It is so sad that injury curtailed his career so badly.

I would rather the Stars as my second favourite team (after Sheffield) take Kylmakorpi rather than Nilsson. Which would mean you could fit Batchelor in rater than Porsing? Bit risky taking Schlien & Batchelor considering last season but if a team can't afford the big guns, few 0's is the way to go.

That would rock

It is pretty obvious that if Poole sign Klindt they will start him at reserve. And, my god, they have to expose the precious Newman to a 1-5 team place for a few matches. They will never use him after he has attained a stupid average while at reserve. It will be guest riders all the way, as his Danish fixtures will no doubt coincide with Poole fixtures. I bet Ford in on the phone to Esberg arranging fixture clashes on a daily basis after May. I bet if Klindt signs for Poole. Wolves, Swindon & Leicester will be the Pirates first three away matches. I hope Poole sign the awful Cyfer on a ridiculously assessed average of 8.50 which is what it should be, considering he has Ekstraliga & Elitserien experience. Unlike most Brits on that average. Sorry Jen, Pepsi retired Glad you don't need to Pimp his services.

More fool Watt.

It is an impressive work of art. -
I'm sure Poole can enhance Klindt's wallet. Can they do it when they have to fit his Danish fixtures around Andersen's Danish fixtures. Let me guess Klindt will start at reserve for the Pirates attaining an average much above his current starting average, then we shall see Harris, Nicholls & Lambert will spend the rest of the season guesting as a replacement for him as he is unavailable for Poole's remaining fixtures due to his danish league commitments. Do you enjoy supporting a corrupt bunch of ****** that are destroying Speedway in the UK? I still harbour hopes that Wolves will sign Klindt as he is there asset, CVS & Adams know a rider on a stupid average when they see one. Have yo managed to Pimp Cyfer to a NL team yet, if not work to do.
-
I'm sorry Cyfer Pimp but if Poole don't wish to employ Grajczonek next year they have very little say in the matter, they cannot charge Somerset more than they can any other team they consider a threat to their domination.

And Marvyn Cox is immortalized in graffiti on the subway -
I'm sure Lambert will be signing for the Stars. He has been mentioned on this thread and dismissed but Mikkel Michelsen would be worth a punt on a starting average of 8.43 assuming he isn't riding in the Ekstraliga which I guess would rule him out.

Building a team of cast offs is difficult. I reckon this would make the Lions competitive. Korneliussen 8.46 Howarth 7.18 Wozniak 8.27 Lawson 8.22 Buczkowski 8.43 Auty 7.01 2.432
