Nope last update on Wolves website in team building terms was the signing of Howarth & Clegg. Wolves were stupid enough to allow Poole to sign Klindt and turned down Harris & Nicholls in favour of Thorsell. Wolves have never built a top heavy team in the last 15 years. I cannot see them signing Masters now Lindgren, Thorsell & Howarth have been confirmed.

Can Doyle score (13.41/4=) 3.5525 per ride? Nope. Impossible. Can Ellis score (7.84/4=) 1.96 per ride? Yep. If they pair him with Bellego & reserves for all of his rides, quite easily.

Looks like Kings Lynn are going down the Coventry team building route with two 5 pointers at reserve... R. Lambert 8.92 Batchelor 7.36 Lawson 8.22 Porsing 6.99 Michelsen 7.94 Huckenbeck 5.14 S. Lambert 5.26

Why are Poole fans obsessed with pimping gate & go Poles? If I see PooleBolton talking up Cyfer again, my head will explode. Don't start pimping Gomolski everywhere. If he is not good enough for Ford, why why he be good enough for any other team in the league. Think Grajczonek got bored of hours in van last year and will ply his trade at the NSS next year (hopefully). I cannot see a CVS/Adams team having Masters in it, having signed Lindgren, Howarth & Thorsell. If Somerset will have Masters back they should take him & Tungate, Starke, Allen. Try and get a EL heat leader in. Fricke costs allot point wise, else Nilsson or Kylmakorpi or best yet, if available Mikkel Michelsen or Michael Jepsen Jensen, both less than 9 average wise. Depends if they are doing top league in Poland though. I hate pimping Poole Poles but Krzysztof Buczkowski is worth a punt. I would touch Gomolski or Cyfer.

If Hopwood is 2.00 it fits with 0.04 to spare. 8.7 8.29 8.28 7.6 7.91 7.18

Poole will probably be paying over the odds for Klindt, lets face it they'll dump him when/if he attains a silly average from being at reserve, that is what they do. If Wolves can't compete with Rye House for wages I'd be very surprised, that said I can see the attraction of Rye House for both riders it is a new challenge and new team in the division, especially with Harris's Coventry history. Nicholls less so, but he had less years at Brandon. Still think Wolves have mucked up badly.

Kai Huckenbeck at Saddlebow Rd. 5.14. -
Anderson is not the rider he was 10 years ago, when if had been handed a GP spot Crump may have had a silver medal more and a gold medal less. KK has always been inconsistent. He wont average 11+, in this watered down league. What Wolves should have done is.... Lindgren - Best #1 in the league on his average 10.09 I don't give monkey poop which Harris or Nicholls, Brit who go well at Monmore - >9.3 Klindt, club asset but awful gating tart that will gate enough to make mockery of that average. Can start at reserve. Clegg, 4.34 will dominate reserve heats at the Cycle Speedway track that is Monmore. Two Birts done & dusted, a solid #1, #5. #6 & #7, CVS & Adams have f**** up massively

Ellis C+ Lambert B Newman C Howarth D-, must try harder

If it is the converted averages that I did then, they are a converted averages of all EL riders from last year. They were calculated using the averages on the BSPA website at the time, there has been a more recent release by the BSPA, so they could be slightly out. However, if a rider rode the PL last year than that is the average used for team building.

Mikkel B Andersen to Swindon, no idea what average. -
If Wolves don't retain the title down to their promoters miserly ways, I think it is hilarious. With the re-assessed 'Premiership' averages Lindgren was the best value #1 in the league, lets face it Poole have spent almost as much in team building points on a Danish rider who is 10 years beyond his best as a number 2 and have signed a #1 who is at best inconsistent, at worst will go to a party rather than turn up for a Monday night Sky meet. Nicholls & Harris were both available, and I'm certain would have joined Wolves if offered the chance, solid second heat leaders on any track in the country. Nicholls being 5th in the away averages says as much. Probably cheaper than Thorsell, to boot. No flights. Imagine if they'd signed both! Clegg was a cert. Only going to improve, Then we have Klindt, an enigma admittedly but a club asset. Can score a bucketful of points if it is night even if they are every third night, whether in the team or at reserve, Wolves could have easily fitted him in at reserve to start the season. As Wolves didn't do this and have been forced to resign Howarth as a second Brit, they maybe better than Swindon & Coventry. Congrats Wolves fans!

Have a feeling BV will sign Josh Grajczonek, along with Cooke, S Worrall & Hougaard as their top 4.
-
Never Sherlock, by 10 points AKA 20%, it used to be by 50%
-
I'd go for Kylmakorpi, Wright, Masters, Starke, Tungate, Allen... Whatever is left after that for the final rider
-
As have I. I hope he filters his email as he will probably get allot.
-
He's still going, blimey.
-
Great news.
-
I don't know. Are you now Brady's Championship pimp? Did pimping Cyfer to Premiership Clubs become futile?
-
Masters, Tungate, Wright, Starke, Allen. Pick a #1 & a #7. I can't be arsed to add up averages at this point.
-
They won't use him after he gets an average in May/June, clashes with Danish fixtures will be cited else he will have a sprained appendix for any matches he needs to be at, that don't clash with his Danish fixtures. Mercenary. But a very useful rider on his average in this watered down League. I am amazed his parent club haven't taken advantage of this, they clearly have a modicum of integrity these days. Which they lacked in the early 90's.

When I saw the Swindon 1-7 I thought it would be noncompetitive, seeing other teams announcements or the lack there of. I don't think it is that bad.

As a Cradley fan, when the land was sold on our old (and I use the term loosely compared to Brandon) stadium, we had reasonable banked terracing, a few bars & an under cover section. Your only hope is Rugby Council, they are who you need to protest to.
