  1. It is now looking like... Berlin 04.05 Falubaz Zielona Góra - Apator Toruń Auschwitz 06.05 Unia Tarnów - Sparta Wrocław Prague 12.05 Warsaw GP
  2. And Sundstrom, who is their asset. I think. His last average was 7.22 I believe. 7.29 is what my spreadsheet says Rye House have left.
  3. Both Tatum & Pearson are annoying, but not as annoying as Ermolenko on commentary. That I can ignore, what I can't ignore is whoever is responsible for the live footage being pants. Imagine. Wolves v Swindon Grand Final. Wolves @ Monmore need a 4-2 to win. Wolves gate on a 5-1, Lindgren hogs the inside gives way to Throsell around the outside to lead, Thorsell naffs off. With Lindgren riding defensive Doyle nips into second at the end of the second lap. Doyle gives chase on Throsell but gives up, drops back to assist Morris, by hampering Lindgrens line at the end of lap 3..... What happens next? No one will ever know.... All the TV home viewers see is Thorsell streaking home to take the flag, an untroubled lap.
  4. Please, please, please say it's Bridger
  5. Not sure how. I am promoting creativity in team selection, team management should be a skill.
  6. So, I am looking for advice. The better half wishes to visit Berlin, Prague & Warsaw. She would also like to return to Munich. I went to Prague on a stag doo, in 2003, as far as my comatose brain can remember it was very pretty. I have no objections to returning. Having hired cars for road trips to Northern Italy, Iceland & California I don't have an issue driving 6 hours a day split into a 2 stints, if morning & evening. Would it be possible to incorporate: Any meeting, VIII runda PGE Ekstraliga 10.06 Pardubice 13.06. 2018 18:00 The Czech Republic Any meeting, IX runda PGE Ekstraligi 17.06 Have been lucky enough to Witness Speedway at Wroclaw, Gorzow & Leszno before.
  7. The stupidness of rules dictates that Howarth must be 1, still, I assume. Such limitations diminishes the skill of a team manager. That septet would be better if it top 5 were positioned Bjerre, Bates, Kurtz, Wright, Howarth. I think it was 1991 when Wolves only won the league because they had their best rider (Sam Ermolenko) riding at #4 all year. That is one prop I'll give Adams, Cradley had the better team that year but Wolves team management creativity meant they won the league not us.
  8. Indeed. Kings Lynn brought THJ in on loaned equipment, hung him out to dry riding him at #5. Yet he was still the most interesting rider to watch in their team when on TV after Shalegate. I thought he did enough to deserve another chance, especially starting at reserve.
  9. It is far from a massive gamble, but I imagine his scores will be somewhat inconsistent for the first month or two. Some tracks will obviously come more naturally to him than others. The big thing for me is, having someone of the quality & experience of Andersen alongside Vaculik & Pieszczek in the pits to offer advice. King also.
  10. Sundstrom rode in the Swedish Allsvenskan last year, I guess that counts as his third league.
  11. Excluded in the final for knocking Holder off.
  12. Indeed. An assessed new foreign rider is always a gamble. Try winning the Championship in Football. Promotion to the Premier League, then the clubs only ambition for their tenure in the top flight is not being one of the worst 3 teams.
  13. Lindgren was ranked higher in the GPs than Vaculik, despite missing the last two rounds. Vaculik averaged 0.6 higher in Ekstraliga, Lindgren averaged 0.9 higher in Elitserien. If you were to ask me who would average the most in the UK next year if both were here, I'd bet heavily on Lindgren.
  14. Doyle, Lindgren, Vaculik, Morris, Thorsell. But then rank Chris Harris, Craig Cook, Danny King, Jack Holder, Josh Grajczonek, Nick Morris, Ricky Wells, Robert Lambert, Sam Masters & Steve Worrall in your head. I bet it nothing like they appear in the averages on http://www.speedway-stats.co.uk - they are the top ten from 2017.
  15. Except for Jason Doyle, Vaculik averaged more in the Ekstraliga than any other rider competing in Britain last year. More, even, than the all conquering Woryna who spent the year as a reserve for Rybnik. Guessing after NKI's injury he was second heat leader for Gorzow, behind Zmarzlik. 11th overall, on 8.14. Stats in Sweden less impressive, 18th overall on 6.92. But of those likely to compete in the Premiership again only Doyle is higher. Still averaged more than Holder, Lebedevs, Kildemand, Lindbäck, Jonsson, Sayfutdinov & Bjerre. Is there any evidence to suggest he won't adapt to British tracks?
  16. Name a track where the following doesn't occur - an away rider gates but the home rider more often than not seems to pass therm because they know the track better.
  17. I don't particularly enjoy watching racing on the tight confines of Monmore Green but rarely is there a meeting staged at the venue which lacks passing.
  18. Yet it has been voted best prepared track in the top tier of British Speedway more often than any other.
  19. So what has it got to do with anyone called James? Guessing typo. Sundstrom signed up in Danish league? Which figure is incorrect? Kurtz 8.08 Grajczonek 7.34 Holder 7.16 Szczepaniak 4.93 Woryna 4.65 Shanes 2.95
  20. Shanes is riding in the Polish Ekstraliga?
  21. If Shanes is resigned it leaves 7.39 for the final rider?
  22. The two best riders on the night are quite often the two best riders overall. So speculating that is not impossible, it is after all speculation.
  23. So why couldn't OneSport tell me that in an email? How does their inability to reply make me useless? If the event in Daugavpils does take place I was planning to attend, but until confirmation of dates comes through I wont be booking any flights.
