  1. Find a more capable experienced rider on 4.64.
  2. He has been in Denmark's last two SWC teams.
  3. Never ridden in a SGP nor a SWC. Shouldn't be 7:00. Sounds like a good signing, let's hope he turns up every week.
  4. Not a name I am familiar with. Averaged 1.544 (6.176 in our money) from 13 meetings in the Ekstraliga last year. Which is more than Kildemand, Sundstrom & Thorsell. Not totally representative of course as he could well have attained that average from reserve. Swedish stats unsurprisingly not as impressive, but still not bad 1,290 (5.16) from 8 meetings for Lejonen in Elitserien. Assume he starts on 4.00?
  5. There will still be 2 point wobblers as the middle order will be jam packed with 5-7.5ish riders. Swindon, Poole & Wolverhampton have never, ever voted with the interests of their club secondary to the best interests of the league, have they?
  6. Lebedevs & Milik no go? How would Thorsell or Lindgren do as #1 at Kings Lynn?
  7. Rye House Harris 7.67 Sundstrom 7.22 Robson 5.72 Kasprzak 6.95 Nicholls 7.43 Busk-Jacobsen 4.15 Morley 3.29 42.43 0.07
  8. Woffinden only rode in the playoffs in 2016 didn't he, so no adjustment to his average. It's good isn't. Doyle, Lindgren and the other EL standard riders from 2016 had their employment opportunities limited by the change of rules, so now those riders that couldn't be bothered to ride over here in 2016, who were not subjected to the same ruling on their average can be considered bargains. Only in Speedway. Masters 7.92 Wolf X >5.28 Pawlicki 7.32 Schlien 7.72 Woffinden 7.03 Greaves 2.54 M Riss 4.69
  9. It has been announced that Poland are hosting the final event of the SEC calendar. Any rumours for dates of the other 3. Guessing another Polish location, a Swedish & either a German or Latvian?
  10. Never been to Gdansk then. Poland are likely to win wherever the SWC is held until another nation has some new World Class blood. The only riders that may deny Zmarzlik, Dudek, the Pawlicki's & Janowski 10-15 SWC gold medals is other Poles, unfortunately. The SWC remains a great event.
  11. Looking at the GSA's on the BSPA website, if Sundstrom is 7.2ish, Harris or Nicholls around the same plus Kasprzak on 6.9ish wouldn't be a bad start to team building plans. Solid engine room.
  12. We can't leave Robert Lambert alone to develop, because Tatum & Pearson can't stop wittering his name every time I turn on the TV to watch speedway. He is the great British hope. As far as KL go, I would look to loan Robert out next year, he clearly can't learn much more riding Saddlebow Road every week. Additionally can spending more time with the Diamonds in the second tier of British speedway really aid his development? He at least got a few meetings in Poland & Sweden last year, lets hope that continues. As for other riders, I'd put Auty at reserve every year. I am fully aware he isn't going to improve much if at all and sometimes his gating will let you down. But from reserve he will score 3-5 points, he is always entertaining & is occasionally capable of pulling a match winning ride out of the bag. I wouldn't judge all Aussies by Holder & Batchelor standards. But without discrimination the only recently emerged Aussie Speedway rider that I don't find obnoxiously arrogant is Fricke. And he annoys me by not turning up for his UK commitments due to injury yet continues to ride in continental leagues & qualifiers. A greater sin.
  13. When I saw THJ ride for KL last year he looked like a guy who knew how to ride a bike, had speed & tried hard, but didn't know where to put the bike on a track he'd never seen before. He was thrown into a #5 position in a team that was struggling. As a second string or 3rd heat leader he could be a match winner, if fully committed. If you can't get NKI, try for Lebedevs & Milik. You don't want Lambert starting as your #1 as capable as he is. That doesn't mean get Holder or Batchelor back should they deem KL worthy of their efforts.
  14. Assume Lions will lineup with Vaculik & Nilsson as their top two, who else would you want? Przedpełski? Difficult since I hope both Ipswich & Sheffield are top tier next year (ignorant of press releases to the contrary), which would likely rule out King, Bates & L Bjerre.
  15. Yep. But TR scores are not calculated in the Aggregate Point. If Belle Vue draw 45-45 with Somerset at Somerset without using a TR but Somerset win at Belle Vue 46-47 (due to an 6 point TR score) Belle Vue get the aggregate bonus.
  16. Slick on the inside, grippy on the out.
  17. Dear Kings Lynn.... Sign Lebedevs & Milik. And give them a track to race on.
  18. Holder was pretty dire during 2017 wherever he rode. So having him in the team on a silly average would have accomplished little.
  19. Eh? Any news on Lindgren/Thorsell injuries?
  20. Unless the Polish Ekstraliga clubs relax the rules, no Danes riding in it will also ride in Britain unless they miss out on an Elitserein spot. I think it very unlikely that the Ekstraliga will relax the rules despite rumors. Pedersen has already signed for Tarnow. Doubt Pedersen would wish to return to Monmore.
  21. Musielak is a Swindon asset now. If Wolves can get Woffinden and/or Piotr Pawlicki to return, they have no need to sign Lindgren or Thorsell.
  22. Nilsson is Mr Leicester Lions after a single season? The one Dane looked good in the play offs, but that isn't saying much. Riss is not a rider you build a team around, he is one you try to fit in. Totally depends if either Ipswich & Sheffield take the Premiership plunge (unless there have been announcements on that) whether Bates & King will be Lions next year. I'm not doing Maths until rules are official & averages confirmed. Vaculik Bates/Riss Przedpelski King Nilsson Newman/Riss +2.00 Would be a team I'd look forward to watching.
  23. Unless Britain, Sweden, Denmark & Russia combine, Poles will continue to have the most say over what riders do.
  24. Yep. If Ekstraliga teams continue insist that any rider contracted to them are only allowed in one other league that is not their domestic league, unless NKI gives up the Swedish Elitserien.
  25. He demonstrated why he could prove to be a useful signing for any team in the recent Torun GP, getting any Polish rider to commit to British fixtures proves difficult for any club.
