  1. Smektala, Bellego, Kudriaszow & Musielak qualify from Poznan. Ellis scored 3, Hans Andersen 6 & Covatti 7. Big surprise is Anders Thomas missed out by a point.
  2. Unsurprisingly the Poles are looking dominant in Poznan, Kudriaszow aside. Ellis 1 point from 4 rides.
  3. Poland is great, but... The Golden Helmet farve was almost as embarrassing as the opening of the NSS.
  4. Commentators curse on Laguta, thought he and Buczkowski could win it for Grudziądz, then they convincingly 5-1ed! 0
  5. Pawlicki did Lindback no favours ion heat 11. How fast is Laguta, made Vaculik look like he was going backwards.
  6. Sadly it didn't last long. What time does the ZG meeting start and is it on the same.stream?
  7. Indeed, I do wish the club was capable of replying to email about purchasing grand stand tickets in advance of our trip.
  8. Holta is even more past his best than Protasiewicz, but he does ride on a Polish license.
  9. I don't blame him, Protasiewicz & to a lesser extent Hampel are past their best, but I do believe Hampel probably deserves another shot being 2nd after 3 rounds when he broke his leg in the SWC when he was last in the GP's. That said Piotr Pawlicki's performance in last years SEC was below par, before it started I thought he'd be a contender. Don't think Przedpełski & Buczkowski will ever quite reach GP level.
  10. I had thought about making this my first visit to Perry Barr in a long time (2008), but with the Manchester derby on the TV I had decided against it. Hopefully I'll be able to make the rematch.
  11. Again not able to watch any. Lublin (& Lambert) did reasonably well to stay within 8 points looking at the result. Do think Gorzow are weak compared to recent years, Zmarzlik aside. As far as Miedziński goes, never been a fan but there are basically 16 Ekstraliga spots for Poles over 21, are there 16 better Polish riders aged over 21? Make it 17 has Leszno have 3 good senior Poles. Maybe. But the likes of Woryna & Musielak have decided to ride in Nice Div 1 for whatever reason. I think, Woryna hasn't ridden yet, injured? Probably shows up more as Chestochowa probably have the best non Polish trio.

  13. The leathers changed by 1991 (at least), to white with a yellow stripe.
  14. I assume Lindback, Bjerre, Buczkowski & Pawlicki get an extra ride each as Laguta had the highest average in 2018, or are Ekstraliga R/R rules different. Any idea who is likely to feature as #8 for either team?
  15. Is it confirmed Artem Laguta is going to be fit? Interesting swap of riding positions for Zagar & Lindgren, wonder why.
  16. The rider on the DVD sleeve in the turquoise leathers, is it Jan O Pedersen from 1987-88?
  17. Looks like Robert Lambert has been dropped for Lublin's visit to Gorzow on Friday, replaced by Kacper Gosik?
  18. Didn't watch any this weekend too busy, but well done to Lublin, great comeback considering the loss of AJ. Be interesting to see what they do when Laguta is available, guessing Lambert will drop to the silly #8 position. Surprised Gorzów kept so close in Częstochowa, thought Zmarzlik would be a one man team away from Edward Jancarz Stadium this season.
  19. Lindback must be confident of getting in the top 8.
