  1. Gdansk is indeed an awful track, scenic but touristy city though. The search for a meeting to attend on 19/05 goes on! Isn't the Championship pairs being held at Somerset the night before Cardiff? If it isn't I'll be annoyed as that is the first time in a long time there hasn't been a meeting at Somerset the night before the Cardiff GP and this will be my first Cardiff GP for many years (I got bored of watching Crump win!).
  2. That team could go a whole season without winning a heat away from Foxhall.
  3. It wasn't a criticism, I have never seen him ride either track. I have just heard tales of Gollob being rather unimpressed on first visit to Manchester greyhound stadium
  4. I think Gollob objected to Kirkmanshulme Lane much more than Monmore Green.
  5. Think Leicester changes were done with cost cutting in mind, once Vaculik & King got injured their season was over.
  6. Accoring to http://www.svemo.se/sv/ in 2019 Sundström is riding for Piraterna in Elitserien & VIP Speedway in Allsvenskan. Both clubs are based at Motala.
  7. Hancock also likely to be a spoiler, the Finns & French didn't disgrace themselves last year either. Germany should secure third behind Sweden & Poland in the other semi, Milik & Zagar to be the spoilers at that one.
  8. Bydgoszcz would be the obvious candidate, the track hosted the SWC less than 5 years ago ( what a night it was). Stadium is in desperate need of investment & TLC. But a great track, with great history.
  9. Well thats a flawed theory for NKI, on his 7.6ish average he is a far more attractive signing tham his 9.00 reassessed GP rider average would be after the 18/05.
  10. I came on here (for the first time in a while) to read what the dwindling Monmore faithfuls had to say about the predictable final signings for my now only local team. Oh well. I might come back in two weeks such abuse was only normally reserved for Bees v Pirates threads.
  11. I fail to see the point of this. Ipswich & Kings Lynn have signed what, 3 riders between them? Sadly, Wolves look good (despite also looking cheap). Poole look magnificent if heats 13 & 15 don't count, and their are no TR's. P'boro look solid, BV & Swindon Ok, fail to see much average improvement in Panthers, Aces & Robins.
  12. I see, was aware the day we flew back was a BHM. Will have to see if the amassed God Botherers mean we can't see the Black Madonna. I filled a lifetime of boots worth of Madonna paintings in Florence so if it's off limits, so be it.
  13. Ok thanks, will purchase Lublin tickets in advance. Lord knows whats going on in Czestochowa the night we are there (Wroclaw are the visitors), but almost all the hotels are sold out.
  14. Is there any advantage of buying tickets for Ekstraliga fixtures in advance?
  15. What? Klindts gut busting all action style around a fabulous prepared & shaped track is what speedway dreams are made of. Get yourself to Wimbourne Rd for you weekly summer live sports entertainment fix.
  16. Thanks, I take it that is from their 7.08 & 7.05 CL averages converted?
  17. A couple of heat leaders I'd hope! 13.83 remains if my maths is correct.
  18. https://www.speedwaygb.co.uk/request.php?428
  19. I don't doubt that, just playing Devil's Advocate.
  20. Interesting selection, hope Bewley is fully fit for the start of the season. You do realise Lidsey averaged less than Josef Franc in Polish Div 3 last year?
  21. Predictions for 2019, which could be the toughest SGP series for several years. Podium: Woffinden, Doyle, Zmarzlik Qualify for 2020: Janowski, Lindgren, Madsen, Laguta, Hancock. Close but...: Sayfutdinov, Vaculik, Dudek. Spoilers: Iversen, Kolodziej, Lindback, Zagar.
  22. Bizare signing. Never shown the reliability or form of a #1. Koryna, Klindt, Jacobsen & Grajczonek to follow I assume?
