  1. Fairly sure Dudek & Janowski will be in the GP's in 2020 regardless, Dudek along with Madsen & Vaculik look the most likely to challenge Zmarzlik now Woffinden is ruled out of Prague & Hallstavik. Janowski will get a wild card if he doesn't hit top 8. The Pawlicki brothers should really have been selected above Przedpelski and Niedzwiedz. You could argue a case for Drabik & Kołodziej also. But I wouldn't be upset if there are only 3 Poles in the GP's next year!
  2. Cracking ride by Paweł Przedpełski! He didn't do that when I was there, not that the Czestochowa management gave him chance, replaced by tac-subs in most of his rides.
  3. Eh... A run-off to make a Semi-final would be silly. All things considered. Glad three Brits qualified today (& Holder didn't). Was worried for Lambert considering Smektala & Holder were inside him from the gate in the decisive heat 20. Vaculik & Iversen may make top 8, so all to play for down to 5th potentially in the final. Having seen Wroclaw at Lublin Friday, I'd make Fricke favourite, sadly.
  4. Fricke wins the re-run with Harris second. That's the top 3 sorted, no one can catch them. End of updates from me, I'm going to the pub.
  5. Bellego won his final ride. Harris, Fricke, BWD, S Tresarrieu is needing a re-run after Fricke & BWD crashed on the first bend. Meanwhile Lambert has just dropped a second point in Glasgow to NKI.
  6. Bellego's last heat isn't exactly a difficult one, he'll finish on 14 unless Luke Becker comes up with something special!
  7. Updates had it right! Just updated on https://sportowefakty.wp.pl Nicolas Vicentin d Chris Harris 2 Szymon Woźniak 1 David Bellego 3 So Harris & Bellego level on 11 with 1 ride to go. Meanwhile at Ashfield. After 3 rides each. 1 Craig Cook - 3 - 3 - 3 = 9 2 Pontus Aspgren - 3 - 3 - 3 = 9 3 Robert Lambert - 3 - 3 - 2 = 8 4 Niels Kristian Iversen - 2 - 2 - 3 = 7 5 Chris Holder - 3 - 2 - 2 = 7 6 Nicolas Covatti - 2 - 3 - 2 = 7
  8. After four rides each in France 1 David Bellego - 3 - 3 - 3 - 2 = 11 2 Chris Harris - 1 - 3 - 3 - 3 = 10 3 Max Fricke - 3 - in - 3 - 3 = 9 4 Mikkel Michelsen - 3 - 3 - 1 - 2 = 9 5 Szymon Woźniak - 2 - 2 - 3 - 2 = 9 6 Oliver Berntzon - 1 - 2 - 2 - 3 = 8 7 Wiktor Kułakow - 3 - 2 - 2 - 1 = 8
  9. Scores from https://sportowefakty.wp.pl Harris has just won his fourth ride, beating Michelsen. Fricke is first rider to defeat Bellego a heat later. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/relacja/95357/ for the France meeting. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/relacja/95355/ for the Glasgow meeting.
  10. After 3 rides in Lamothe-Landerron 1 David Bellego - 3 - 3 - 3 = 9 2 Chris Harris - 1 - 3 - 3 = 7 3 Mikkel Michelsen - 3 - 3 - 1 = 7 4 Szymon Woźniak - 2 - 2 - 3 = 7 5 Wiktor Kułakow - 3 - 2 - 2 = 7 6 Max Fricke - 3 - in - 3 = 6 BWD 3, Luke Becker 5.
  11. Anders Thomsen, Martin Vaculik, Peter Ljung & Matej Zagar are through from Żarnowica. Dan Bewley scored 5. Lebedev, Hampel & Buczkowski also fail to qualify. Edit: Sorry for double post, hadn't noticed Mark beating me to it.
  12. Unfortunate incident in heat 1, Woffinden just in the wrong place at the wrong time as Laguta clipped Lampart then hit him, no malice. Missed opportunity for Lublin under the circumstances to get some much needed league points in a bid to avoid the relegation against one of the more fancied Ekstraliga teams. Certainly looked like a Leszno v Falubaz ZG final now if Woffinden is out for a period. He shouldn't rush back, there is no way he won't get a permanent Wildcard for next years GP series. That was a great ride from Drabik in heat 14.
  13. Oh well it;s over now, when Bjerre & Turowski gated on a 5-1 in heat 12 I thought there might be an upset. One mistake, a tac-sub coming last in a 5-1 in the following heat and Leszno have it sown up before the nominated riders. I know he has been form this year but very disappointed with Lindback, he was probably the stand out rider in the 2017 SWC at Leszno.
  14. I would have made my annual pilgrimage to Owlerton for this, looks a corker, however I'll be at the Cosford Airshow.
  15. While it was fairy entertaining mostly thanks to Nilsson that was painful to watch. Are Masarna injury hit? Or just that bad? Vetlanda hardly got out of third gear.
  16. Guessing it will be the second event of the 2020 series, after Warsaw.
  17. Looks like I missed quite the contest. Wouldn't be to Harsh on Howarth for not wearing gloves, could have done little against Ellis & Morris from 15 metres. King v Ellis live up to billing? Aarnio beats Woffinden on Tuesday, scores 5 at Perry Barr a day later!? How was the racing? Have told better half I'm coming for Lions visit unless something gets in the way like this week, but I'm hoping to convince I can spend my last two days of AL (refreshes soon) in Torun & Grudziądz for Ekstraliga round 12.
  18. The problem with Torun if it remains the final GP is that the championship is often decided by the time it comes around. If the 2020 calendar remains the similar to this years then had I not visited before, Wroclaw would top my list. While I will likely contradict this myself by going to Prague in 2020, I'd certainly choose a Polish hosted GP. In comparison to living in the US Scandinavia is expensive (unless you're from New York). Fear not. I can't speak anything but English, never had a problem communicating with the locals anywhere in Europe (except Paris).
  19. No idea, just saw it on Facebook, there wasn't much in the way of detail.
  20. Josh MacDonald replaces Kasper Andersen
  21. Not going to make it this week, things didn't fall into place as I hoped. Next week for the Lions visit hopefully.
