  1. It was weird. In real time I thought it was Holder's fault, but on the replay you could see it was nothing to with him, just Sayfutdinov and Lindback arrived at the same place at the same time. Tough call, but on balance I think the ref got it right.
  2. Horrendous decision. Thought Emil had stopped coming into the bends dangerously like that. Clearly not.
  3. I was pointing out the Polish fans reactions because they amused me. I didn't say they were wrong or right or that British fans would react any differently.
  4. One things for certain, the Polish fans are NOT happy about it. Translate the page into English and have a read of the comments. Some of my particular favourites include: Polish GP for a Pole, I wish him five tapes Well, the BSI has shown us elegantly and without vaseline middle finger. GP Ticket for just tore up ... United defeat Polish authorities slag. With us in our backyard, and yet others govern pleased to show us. It was not Ward's fault because it goes good this year, it's not copper but any Polish player. They showed us to our place. Thank you Mr. Witkowski and others.
  5. Jarek Hampel Wild Card Andreas Jonsson Antonio Lindback Cheers
  6. He knew it was wet and slushy and he'd get filthy so he decided to leave it!
  7. Surprised Nicki didn't sling his bike on the deck like he normally does when someone goes by him on the inside.
  8. Well I was hoping to watch a speedway GP tonight, but it turns out they've decided to show a longtrack meeting being raced on a track primarily made with wet flour, with a referee who seemingly likes it when clutches get burnt out. Pearson screeching doesn't help much either, though he's clearly gutted Gollob has done nothing so far....
  9. Nicki Pedersen Andreas Jonsson Antonio Lindback Greg Hancock Cheers
  10. Obviously not dirty. He got unexpected grip and ran into Jarek and was rightly excluded, but he was straight over to check he was ok. No intent at all.
  11. Bridger has let himself down with his showing last night and even more so with his comments on twitter. He undoubtedly has the talent to do well in this sport, certainly better than he showed last night, but he needs to get his head on straight, forget about looking "spectacular" coming out of the bends and start performing. Presumably, Lewis does read this forum, and if so if the above makes me two faced, or "not a proper fan" then so be it, but frankly, last night you didn't look like a proper speedway rider. Get your head out of your backside, and go and do the job we know you are capable of.
  12. Of course it does. It makes me laugh that people are so naive that they don't believe it happens. If it didn't happen you wouldn't get riders accusing each other of doing it.
  13. Eddie Kennett just overtook Dryml. I expect dumb and dumber will be speaking about "spectacular speedway" now for a bit.
  14. While representing your country in any sport is undoubtedly a privilege, it's certainly not an obligation. I can fully understand Emil (or anyone for that matter) refusing to ride if it's going to cost them money. After all, they are professional speedway riders, and if the money's not there why should they be? Of course it's a shame for the fans, but the blame has to be placed on the correct person, and in this case it's not Emil Sayfutdinov. That said, I wouldn't neccesarily be averse to seeing him banned from riding in Britain until the end of the year
