How long before some turnip, (probably with the initial SB) turns up accusing MF of nefarious motives?

I have website about my architecture business. Not a mention of third tier speedway. I should be ashamed. -

My brother and I did hundreds of laps around a farmers field on grasstrack bikes back in the day, not to mention the hours spent riding round our back garden on our bmxs pretending to be Steve Schofield and Martin Yeates. I've looked and lo and behold not a single mention of it on that website. I feel snubbed and entirely undervalued. -

Wolverhampton 2013
home straight replied to HasseHolmqvist's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Masters could be a real trump card at reserve. He has the potential to be a much better rider than his average suggests. At Poole he was under pressure to perform from day one, whereas at Wolves they very rarely start the season looking to win anything - mid table mediocrity appears to be about the height of ambition there. With no expectation on his shoulders he should flourish. -

Probably not the exciting announcement Swindon fans were expecting, but anything that brings money into the sport during these times of austerity should be celebrated. Well done Patch and Rosco! Have to agree too that the "Excalibur Robins" has something of a ring to it!
-
Precedent or no precedent, I just can't imagine the whiter than white messers Patchett and Rosco stooping so low, but even if the mask has slipped, after crying so many tears on the moral high ground just a few short months ago, I just can't see wonderful people of Swindon allowing such an act of treachery. Covering all the bases then.

So if Coventry have made their own asset an offer, but he's already signed for Swindon, does that mean the Robins have tapped him up? Surely not....
-
Good signing for the Robins, there's plenty yet to come from Kildemand. He could easily put a point on his average this year. Interestingly, when he was interviewed at Poole during the top four filler trophy final, he said that he puts much of his success down the stint he had as a Pirate, and that he will always have fond memories of his tenure here, even though it looks unlikely we'll ever be able to fit him in again.
-
Alright mardy arse, have you got a hangover or something?
-
That's a bit ambitious Hagon....
-
Agreed.

Twice in one year? It's a buyers market
-
That's not true Patch and you know it. Both you and Rosco were offered one of Middlo's "Poole Tourism" T shirts and two bricks at the new super duper national speedway stadium. Uncle Matt isn't to blame if you can't spot a good deal when you're offered one.

Davey Watt And Ryan Sullivan
home straight replied to LagutaRacingFan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Refusing to turn up for practice when the boss has asked you to because you think you know better is more than enough reason to be dropped. Australia don't have to admit they're wrong because they're not. It's a team competition and if one rider chooses to distance himself from the team then it's his look out when he gets dropped. -
Davey Watt And Ryan Sullivan

Sullivan was picked to ride for Australia a few years ago when Boyce was boss. He didn't bother turning up, thus indicating his desire to end his international career. He hasn't been picked since. -

I don't know what was said, but this: Would seem to suggest he should keep his mouth shut. -

I don't mind the enthusiasm and even shouting when it's warranted. What I can't abide is being screeched at that "this is top drawer speedway Kelvin" when it's patently piss poor speedway. Oh come on, two blokes hitting a ball to each other over a net is every bit as exciting as four blokes going sideways round an enclosed track at break neck speeds and no breaks..... -

In the words of Mark Renton from Trainspotting: It's nae good blamin it oan the English fir colonising us. Ah don't hate the English. They're just prats. We are colonised by prats. We can't even pick a decent, vibrant, healthy culture to be colonised by. No. We're ruled by effete arseholes. What does that make us? The lowest of the f****n low, tha's what, the scum of the earth. The most wretched, servile, miserable, pathetic trash that was ever shat intae creation. Ah don't hate the English. They just git oan wi the rubbishe thuv goat. Ah hate the Scots. -

Poole can and does produce decent racing, as do most other tracks in the country, but for me at least Lynn is amazing. That said, I'd like to see a SWC round at Somerset, I think that could really be something special as well.
