To be fair to my buddy Stevebrum, I'd be annoyed if a Poole legend signed for a team in the playoffs at the end of the season, too, particularly if there was a suggestion that he was bringing superior equipment to that which he'd used in the regular season. However, now he's had time to sleep on it, I'm sure Steve will admit, that for Freddie, getting a chance to ride for one of the "big two" is a chance he can't turn down. It's been well documented that Freddie has always wanted to ride for Poole, but sadly he's never had the chance, so going to Coventry, even for a short while, is the next best thing.....

In all seriousness I reckon it's wide open. Lindgren in for Kylmo certainly makes the bees stronger, (no complaints by the way, we've certainly benefitted from similar astute signings). Granted, the Pirates tend to of well at Brandon, but equally, the bees are strong at WR, Harris and Lindgren in particular and Garrity and Sarje are as good as anyone at reserve. I think it could go either way.... See above. Obviously I don't want Coventry to win, but it wouldn't surprise me if you did. We have a history of bottling it too.....
