  1. That's twice that you've stated it happened weeks ago without any back up other than a vague reference to Twitter. Could you either provide the evidence to back your claim, or rescind the accusation please.
  2. I thought you did a great job with the latest one. I couldn't help but post something, so I started a new thread rather than drag the DW one down further.
  3. I don't know Blazeaway, back in the glory days of the early 2000s this forum was amazing, now it's over run by Johnny come latelies like Jacques......
  4. I barely post on this forum anymore, mainly due to idiots like Wankie deliberately causing trouble.
  5. I've got two tickets for the British Speedway Grand Prix in July if nayone wants to buy them. Block u21, row 24 seat 3 and 4 face value is 29 each Cheers.
  6. I guess Matt's involvement will be mainly financial, with Scunny doing the majority of the leg work, With Scunny benefiting inthe first instance with Poole having some kind of "option" on the riders likely to be able to make a go of it in the EL. Sounds like a good deal for both clubs.....
  7. I have website about my architecture business. Not a mention of third tier speedway. I should be ashamed.
  8. My brother and I did hundreds of laps around a farmers field on grasstrack bikes back in the day, not to mention the hours spent riding round our back garden on our bmxs pretending to be Steve Schofield and Martin Yeates. I've looked and lo and behold not a single mention of it on that website. I feel snubbed and entirely undervalued.
  9. Out of interest, who selects riding order for International matches? Ie, what would stop you putting your two best riders at 6 & 7 and giving them 7 rides each?
  10. Refusing to turn up for practice when the boss has asked you to because you think you know better is more than enough reason to be dropped. Australia don't have to admit they're wrong because they're not. It's a team competition and if one rider chooses to distance himself from the team then it's his look out when he gets dropped.
  11. Sullivan was picked to ride for Australia a few years ago when Boyce was boss. He didn't bother turning up, thus indicating his desire to end his international career. He hasn't been picked since.
  12. I don't know what was said, but this: Would seem to suggest he should keep his mouth shut.
  13. I don't mind the enthusiasm and even shouting when it's warranted. What I can't abide is being screeched at that "this is top drawer speedway Kelvin" when it's patently piss poor speedway. Oh come on, two blokes hitting a ball to each other over a net is every bit as exciting as four blokes going sideways round an enclosed track at break neck speeds and no breaks.....
  14. Given that the SWC produces by far the best speedway of the season, we should definitely cut it back to once every four years, then we'll have something to really look forward to.
  15. In the words of Mark Renton from Trainspotting: It's nae good blamin it oan the English fir colonising us. Ah don't hate the English. They're just prats. We are colonised by prats. We can't even pick a decent, vibrant, healthy culture to be colonised by. No. We're ruled by effete arseholes. What does that make us? The lowest of the f****n low, tha's what, the scum of the earth. The most wretched, servile, miserable, pathetic trash that was ever shat intae creation. Ah don't hate the English. They just git oan wi the rubbishe thuv goat. Ah hate the Scots.
  16. Poole can and does produce decent racing, as do most other tracks in the country, but for me at least Lynn is amazing. That said, I'd like to see a SWC round at Somerset, I think that could really be something special as well.
  17. Charlie Webster has tweeted that it looks like he won't be fit.
  18. Perhaps you could win a nice carriage clock or something if you come fourth in a semi final? Just a little incentive like...
  19. Watching last night's GP I think there might be something wrong with my TV, not only did it look like Freddie Lindgren won the GP, it also appeared to show him smiling on the podium.
  20. I'm sure it was just an oversight on your part, so don't worry too much about it, but you forgot the home of speedway off your list. The one and only Wimborne Road. You're welcome
