  1. He looked pretty quick, for a few heats at least I think getting out of the gate is vital. Why are they playing bloody interviews over the races?
  2. Great start for Trick and Antonio, hopefully the weather will hold and track should get better.
  3. What on Earth is Anton wearing? he looks like he should be working at Butlins
  4. Spooky Who was the fourth rider last year? was it AJ?
  5. They don't mess about do they? It certainly is a deterrant. Will the younger Kasprzak now have to find himself a British league place to make up for the lack of earnings?
  6. I'm afraid I don't agree with that Subedei, not wishing to take anything away from the guy, but he has already had a go at the GP series and couldn't crack it, I would rather see KK or Miskowiak get a chance.
  7. Makes perfect sense to me, in twenty odd years of watching speedway, I have never understood reserve replacements for tapes/two minutes. As for Tactical rides
  8. Ryan Sullivan!!!!! It would appear he is over his injury then. Thinking about it, its not a total surprise he does so well in Poland when you think he has spent the better part of his career over here riding at the showground. Hope he can take todays form into the "wide open spaces" at Kirky tomorrow
  9. 1) T Rickardsson 2) H Andersen 3) A Lindback 4) L Adams With all due respect to messrs Crump and Pedersen, I think the fight has been knocked out of them for this year, and don't see them doing much next weekend. I still expect them both to finish the year in the top four, but I'm sure that they could both be forgiven for having one eye on next year already.
  10. I'm following you Splatty, but my post didn't really convey what I was getting at. The efficiency of the engine isn't by any means the be all and end all, its entire set up of the bike that you need to be correct, and this as we all know changes as the meeting progresses, and that, is in essence what I was saying.
  11. Splatty, You can computer align engines all you like, but if its not suited to the track its going to be raced upon its as good as useless. The fact is the guy is streets ahead because he is on the ball, there is nothing more sinister to that I'm afraid. In the long run its got to be good for the sport as the chasing pack will have to raise the bar if they are to keep up.
  12. Antons first appearance in Poland, he'll be full of confidence after last night. This should be a completely new experience for him, as I understand it Polish league matches have a bit of a cauldron like atmosphere, it will be interesting to see how he handles it.
  13. I appreciate what your saying Bernie, but as you say Brian is a businessman, so therefore he's going to work harder/longer for those who are prepared to pay a premium. If you take your car to the car wash and pay 2 quid you get a basic wash, if you pay a fiver you get the super car wash, do you see where we're going?
  14. Look at it another way..... With the current scoring system TRick is miles ahead, can anybody honestly say that based his performances so far this year he doesn't deserve to be so far ahead? I think not. If the only points up for grabs were the ones awarded during the first twenty heats, then yes he would still have a healthy margin, but, if God forbid he picked up and injury and had to sit out a GP then that gap could vanish, and that simply wouldn't be fair, he is so much better than everyone else this year. I'm not trying to take anything away from Crump or Pedersen or any of the other top riders, but TRick just seems a class apart so far.
  15. So far in this years series, apart from a certain Mr Rickardsson, the real stars of the show have been the youngsters. Antonio, Bjerre, Zagar and NKI have all impressed, KK didn't do as well as he'd have liked, but will surely be there very soon. It is fantastic to see the next generation stepping up to the plate and mixing it with the seasoned pros, the future is looking very bright indeed, and I beleive the GP will go from strength to strength. All we need now is a couple of young brits to step up and we'd be laughing.
  16. I thought he said "everything was working good" and still do, but I watched the replay and it could be argued that he said "everything was f***ing good.
  17. You couldn't let it lie could you? I suggest you give Genghis a call, I can see a band of angry Chzechs coming over the hill.
  18. Fair play you got me!, see the edit. Of all the possible times to make a typo I shall hang my head in shame.
  19. Bernie, Fair enough, sorry if I offended you, but please read the forum guide lines, it asks you to type properly and use a spell check if you're unsure. As for the Sun, it's hardly likely to be 100% reliable, and if it is, so what? His bikes will still be subject to scrutineering. Edit. gutted. you got me!
  20. Ok, I don't wish you to feel like I'm pukking you apart, but, typing without using any punctuation makes it difficult to read. Penske (or employees of Penske) are making Tricks frames for him, but don't have anything to do with his engines.
  21. Some people evidently aren't entirely sure what a full stop is either. There are many people on here who remember the one off finals, me being one of them, and I prefer the GP, and as you say you pay for Sky so if it went back to one off finals you'd only get one match for your money instead of 9. I would also be careful with all these unsubstantiated claims regarding Mr Rickardsson's engines.
