For some it will be about balancing finances and when meetings come thick and fast some may well decide to give the less attractive fixtures a miss. At The end of the day the first meeting with Poole is only a warm up meeting.

Hope we get some decent weather in March. Saddlebow always seems 5degrees colder than the rest of Norfolk
-
Gotcha now. I just looked at EDP website to get the Lynn fixtures. Are the Premier League fixtures out as well ?
-
Its an either or (May/July) , if you read a note at the bottom of the Fixtures. Does seem a strange one though to have Poole at home twice inside a few days. Having the fixtures out brings it all a step closer. When is Easter this Year ? ( as in date wise)

Good reading the Star on all things Poole. Whole article of Middlo talking about some guy who can throw a few nails into a board. Must be loads happening down Wimborne Way. The amazing thing is Phil chooses to print such stuff.

Just had a quick nose at the Premier League teams for 2015 and I see that Lewis Kerr appears to be going to ride at Number 0ne for Newcastle, on a circa 7.5 average. Is he ready for that ? and If it doesnt work out for him will it rebound on the Stars with regard to confidence etc ?

Now would that be a first ? Star Lady come on down, the Price is right. A female presenter.

Its a shame you cant buy a block of say 10 meetings to be used throughout the season. From a personal point of view I could never buy a season ticket, as I will always miss at least one meeting, and you couldnt pay me now to turn up there on a wet night. For me, a block of 10/12 tickets for be something id jump all over.

The one think no one can control is injuries. We had that last season. It is up to Rob Lyon to go with the rider who will progress and be able to contribute come October, if Lynn are lucky enough to make the play offs. Stokes will have done plenty more laps around Saddlebow by then and it will be what he can do around his home track, as no one can expect to much from a 2nd Reserve away from home.
-
I would rather see us go with Stokes. He has a massive amount of improvement in him. Ok he might not pull up any trees, early doors, but they don't hand the prizes out till October. It would be interesting to see where he is at with nearly another full season under his belt. You only have to look at Poole, last season to see what difference an improving Reserve can make. I am sure the Lynn fans will back the lad and give him the time. After all he is one of our own.

Boro should keep the Lynn assets Team Lambert to make it competitive lol
-
Would P'Boro be able to use Frostys assets or just their own ?
-
Amazing that a rider of Cook's ability still wants the easy pickings ( for me) that the Premier League offers. SDurely time he went abroad and tesed himself to see if he has what it takes.
-
Hows about Steady Eddie Reeves SL ? I thought he would be well up there. For me it was always Barry Crowson, Not one of the big Guns ( Betts, Simmo, Cole or Crump), but always gave it a good go.
-
Bricks along the back straight ? Have you been in the loo there ? Loving the idea of the Retro Team Bibs. Would be good to see parts of the old Programmes re-produced into the new one as well. First 5 hall of famers for me would be. Betts Lee Turner Henka Loram

There are a lot of things I want ( or rather would like)

Are Stiletto's normal wear in a gym ?

As has always been the way in Speedway. I just feel the BSPA should look at the bigger picture. The trouble is whenever money is needed in the Sport, the BSPA shy away from it. Its always all about today, and sod tomorrow.
-
I see it as more under the control of the BSPA, not Buster himself. Buster is providing the facilities, and of course charging a fee, but there should be some kind of development team available... People Like Phil Morris.
-
I dont have any doubts about Busters business accrument, But the facts are Most other clubs do not have their own Motor Sports stadium. Buster does, and rightly so he uses it to his own advantage. Whether an individual fan likes the rules or not, they are put in place by the powers that be in Speedway who run the Sport ( Buster is now on the Committee). All i am suggesting is that the BSPA could perhaps tap into Saddlebow and use it as some kind of trainning ground for the betterment of young British riders, for ther benefit of all. It will cost money for sure, but the benfits going forward, for all could be significant.
-
In fairness Lynn do have an advantage in so much as Buster owns the Track, so to run a NL side doesnt incur a rental charge. There are not so mnay clubs who enjoy this facility. However would it be an idea to consider, IF the BSPA could set something up at Lynn, with Buster, for the development of all riders to benefit the Elite League going forward. If it was in the form of an acadamy then all Elite clubs could dip their bill in the water. Krap idea, maybe, but something along those lines, might, just work.

I thought he had some pretty impressive scores in those meetings he did. If he is good enough he is older enough. Don't forget we had to wait for young Lambert to turn 16 before we could throw him into the main body of the team.
