Looking at the scores from last night, it would seem Kings Lynn Got off lightly. Newman, you would think would have scored in the 2 heats he was missing, on a normal day, Plus how many Times will Holder score 7 at home ? Opening shots look to me like Poole are stronger than last season, with Kings Lynn slightly weaker ( Morris for Rose). I really think this Poole team will take some stopping. Can Only see 2 things that may get in their way. One of course is the age old problem of Injuries and the other is Pooleitis or has most people know it, choking. Still its a long season with many twists and turns along the way. Opening gambits are that Matt Ford, despite being the last to complete his team has put together another stellar line-up

If Poole dont manage to fill the 2 places will they be able to run with R/R and Guests in the short term. I mean its not been their fault they couldnt put a team together as they were waiting on the result on Darcy Ward, so hardly fair they should be expected to complete their line-up in such a short space of time. I am sure there will be plenty of riders available early doors to Guest.

Interesting read that one of the Norwich Riders Knocked Ove Fundin spark out as he was cheesed off with Fundin riding over him to get passed. Fundin certainly appeared to not care whether it was team mate or Oppostion in front of him, he was coming through. Never had the pleasure of seeing Speedway at the Firs, But My late father told me plenty about it.

As a Lynn fan I dont want to win anything by default. Last season is done, dusted and forgot about. Its a clean sheet of paper in 2/3 weeks time. Lets see if we can give it another good crack and win,lose or draw, lets all enjoy it. Then come the end of the season, If Poole want to buy another title, then so be it.

Have to agree with SCB. £17 for Elite League Speedway is overkill. I agree It should be a £10 sport st this level. For a Grand Prix in a stadium like the Millennium then you would expect to pay a Premium price, its a one off. I just hope the Promotions dont start moaning about the lack of support for certain meetings next season. I just see that People will cherry pick even more the meetings they go to. The Wet nights will be an acid test.

Having Once sampled one of Buster's Burgers, I would prefer to pay £16 and then decline the burger for free.
