With you on that Baggy. Went stale last season needs some fresh blood to be up there challenging.
-
That should increase the circulation

Surely the true Poole fans will be happy to hand over Premier League admission for Championship Speedway. After all they will want see a successful team
-
If you added Pickering and Nicol to those 4 what would it leave for the last rider ?

For me a wonder if Lambert has now done his time at Lynn Don’t get me wrong Robert is a great talent. However, With all his other commitments would the PL be, shall we say not high on his list of priorities. Unless the circuit at Saddlebow is likely to change then Buster might as well fill up with a team of gaters, for example such as Klint. The track as it stands does the likes of Lambert no favours.

Is there anyone that is a ‘must return’ rider for next season ? For me the answer is no.
-
Think Lewi Kerr would do a decent job at Kent

Poor old Middlo. He gets his benefit meeting the same year as Ford takes the club down a level with smaller crowds. Middlo is always getting shafted

Swindon ended the season as the complete team. The engine room at 3&4 were the real destroyers. Batch has an off night but Ellis steps up. Even at Reserve Perks takes points off of Harris (where does he go from here ?). Ippo the best of the rest but the rest were a long way behind this Swindon team.

If the boy is done for the season he is done. Maybe, just maybe he is riding in Germany as per the terms of a contract he has signed. This ‘International’. Match up is no more than just a filler. Be interesting to see how much it whets the public’s appetite. On a personal level you couldn’t pay me to go watch it. Im way to long in the tooth ( old) to stand out there freezing my conkers off to watch a nothing meeting.

Just a little prick. (over to any Fools n Horses fans and ‘Fatal extraction’)

That’s fine to say the outgoing costs are 25% less what he fails to mention is how diluted the income will be. Gates, lower admission, sponsorship, corporate, share of BSPA events etc.
-
That being the case then Neil just shows they are not worth the paper they are written on, so why bother having them if either/both party’s can walk away from them with no penalty being incurred. Maybe it’s not just garlic bread that is the future.

Lynn fans didn’t walk away from Saddlebow when Buster took us down a notch. In fact the buzz came back to the place for a few years. Loads of rider/fan interaction in those days. Nothing wrong with the 2nd tier. The standard there has remained constant

Just think if Poole go Premier League Shovvy gets a new audience for his B/S. And we don’t have be bored s:;!less reading it.
-
Surely the best way Forward is to get the oracle that is Steve Shovlar to step up the mark and invest in the project and bring his many ideas to the fore. No one knows more about Poole and Speedway in general than him. Knight in shining armour time Steveo

Surely Ford has made good money over the previous 10 years or so ? We have had certain fans on here telling us about the bumper gates the club has enjoyed. So one bad year in X number of good ones shouldn’t hurt that much. If not it begs the question where has the money gone. I always thought Poole was the blueprint of how to run a modern day Speedway promotion.

How about moving it to April 1st. Any year -
About time Danny King rode for the team who hold his registration.
