  1. With all these entertaining riders we are going to enjoy at Lynn I hope Buster is going to come up a track befitting their skills. It certainly hasn't be available very often in the past couple of years
  2. Rory Schlein just been on Radio Norfolk. He hasn't been given the all clear to start riding yet. I'm sure Buster will have a back up plan if Rory doesn't get the thumbs up
  3. I thought about him, he is one rider who I would love to see at Saddlebow... Throwing another name into the ring Hows about Linus Sundstrom ?
  4. Sorry Speedy, I didnt mean On the Heat leader I meant on Buster's hit list. With Bjarne average of around 6.5 that would leave Lynn around 1.5 to 2 points short of the Limit. Cannot believe Buster wouldnt use the full amount available.
  5. Surely Bjarne couldnt have been on the hit list, His average now must be way short of 8 plus, so cant see Buster would put together a team that far under the limit.
  6. Do The Lynn fans think there is a deal in place for this Out and Out No 1, or is Buster still putting out the feelers to see who he can get in ? Buster being Buster I would suspect its a done deal and he is just waiting for the right time to annouce it. Has to be a stellar signing as he appears to be leaving it until the end. However if it is the later It would be a case of Lynn ending up with the last taxi on the rank.
  7. I think Thats a perfect marriage. Bjarne is a trapper, so should be a perfect fit around a technical track like Lakeside. can see him doing a decent job there. Not so sure he will pull up any gtrees away, but making ya home track a Fortress as to be the first thing on the menu.
  8. I think if Lynn can get in a Big Hitter at No 1 then they have every chance of finishing 2nd to Poole in the table. Isnt that the aim of every Club now ?
  9. Who is the highest average rider that would be available for The Reserve Berth ? Looking at the points Buster has left to play with It Looks Like Kings Lynn Will have an 8 plus rider at Number one. Cannot see that Buster is going to build a side Well under the points limit. 1. TBA 2. Lambert 3. Schlein 4. Mads 5. Batchelor 6. TBA 7. Rose That Looks solid through the middle order. Mads comments in todays EDP. Kings Lynn was the only place he would have comeback to. http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/mads_korneliussen_is_so_happy_to_be_home_with_the_king_s_lynn_stars_1_4344908
  10. So am I understanding this correctly... If someone ( kind person) was to purchase this season ticket for you, would quit those macrame classes and attend every home meeting ? I am starting to think Its not an entertainment issue with you, more a one of cost.
  11. You Can have yours as a New Years Present SL
  12. I really Hope Lewis Kerr fulfills his undoubted potenial, at Lakeside, and indeed Ipswich. Just disappointed that he wont be back at Lynn, but riders come and go. I am sure Buster will fill his steel shoe adequatly.
  13. Kings Lynn rode various nights nights last season, Not just on a Wednesday. Are you saying Kerr signed a contract to only ride home meeting for Lynn as long they were on a Wednesday ?
  14. But wouldnt he have a contract with Kings Lynn that he has had to break so he could ride for Ipswich ?
  15. Spot on. He has made a business decision and is doing what is best for him and his family. So In May if Coventry( for example) have their number one Reserve out injured and offer kerr a tenner a point more than Lakeside are paying him he should take it and leave Lakeside for Coventry. Wouldnt you agree ?
  16. I have no idea what the pay rates of a Premier League Second string are like compared to an Elite League Reserve. However with the option now in the Elite league where a Reserve can now moved up into the main body of the team, I would not have been surprised to see Kerr make that jump. So on that basis by your reckoning a Premier League 2nd string is on a higher rate than an Elite League 2nd string. It may well be the case for all I know. If, as you suggest it is purely a business decision then It just confirms what I was saying about how riders treat Speedway as a business, and stuff the fans. Yet Fans are expected to be loyal to riders. Seems a rather one way street to me. Its the the equivalent to all this badge kissing we get from Footballers week in week out, but as soon as a few quid extra is on the table they are offski. They really must think fans are some kind of mugs.
  17. I dont think its about playing the blame game, But I can see why some fans would be a little p1ssed with what has happened. Lewis Kerr is a Lynn asset, It was Lynn who dont the gamble on him and gave him his first opportunity in Speedway and helped develop him on as a rider. He was announced as part of the 2016 team, another sign of good faith by his parent club. A loan deal is then agreed with a local team, and lets be fair here, there is little love lost between the 2 Clubs. So when he faced with the straight choice of having to pick one club over the another he opts for a club he has never ridden for or has any allegiance to ( as far as im aware) at the expense of his local club. On a personal level I really dont care where or who riders ride for. At The end of the day it is a Business to them, while it is an entetainment/Sport for the supporters/fans. Just some fans might find Kerr's decesion a strange one, to say the least.
  18. Could be suggested a certain sugar beet haulier from Dunham might have brokered this deal
  19. It seems simple to me... A Rider will ride for which ever club he wishes. Lewis Kerr seems mega keen to rider for Ipswich, so that, to me, indicates Lakeside will play 2nd fiddle to any form of fixture clash.
  20. I cannot understand why Ipswich didnt do Lynn a favour and change their race night from Thursday to Wednesday.
  21. But will we ? With Ipswich riding on a Thursday night and now Kerr out on loan at Lakeside who has first dibs on his services ?
  22. Kerr started in 2010 for Kings Lynn Young Stars the same time as Simon Lambert was riding Premier League for The Stars. Anyone know what Lamberts average was in 2010 and what is average was for Peterborough last season ? One for you SCB
  23. Maybe younger in years not sure about years riding a speedway bike. Or is age the only criteria ?
  24. How are the likes of Simon Lambert and Adam Roynon the future of Elite League Speedway in this Country.... Then again maybe thats where its heading.
  25. Good Luck to One Half of Team Lewis, lets hope it works out for him.
