  1. If these are the type of comments that Chapman is making to riders is he really the man to take Speedway forward in this Country ? Judging by the way he treated the paying public last evening I am thinking he shouldn't be let anywhere near the thing. The guy is a total embarrassment to the Sport. Or at least what is left of it.
  2. What a joke of a night. So angry with myself for being talked into giving it another go. I wonder how much lower this sport can go before they nail the lid down on it
  3. Expecting a decent Lynn win against the team from the home of the Magic Roundabout, os has that now been removed ? lol 52-40
  4. Maybe it is a case of needs must GRW. I guess with the form that Rose is in and Howarth coming in gives us strength at 6 &7 for what maybe 9 rides between them. Is the other fellow unavailable tonight ? Huckenbeck, I don't get. He started off the season ok and looked full of promise going forward, he still seems to be cutting the mustard on the Continent but for whatever reason is pants in The UK. Could it be down to something simple like machinery or is it more deep rooted than that ?
  5. Flowers Chocs a night on the first bend at Saddlebow. And they say the age of romance is dead. 😂 Enjoy your evening Baggy
  6. Buster is far from an innocent one where rain offs are concerned. How many times have we had Saddlebow declared fit and ready to race despite the rain, only to rock up and find the meeting is delayed while X amount of tones of slope are removed from the track, followed by a poor meeting on a bladed track. Buster caught me on that little joke once to often. Never again.
  7. Looks a fine day in Gotham City. Low sun over the first bend so delayed start coming up ?
  8. With Buster now at the helm with his side kick Godfrey gone are the days of Ford and Middlie getting away with pulling a fast one. As proven last night. To Quote Bob Dylan 'The times they are a changing'
  9. Losing Kings Lynn Rider Simon 'Rambo Lambo' Lambert ( who comes up with these **** names ?)is the catalyst for the this defeat. Now Lynn have sorted out Jakobson still P'Boro cant get him performing for them. Maybe Ged should get Dale back to help out
  10. Rory will take a few weeks to get back to some sort of decent form, but step by step. This could be the biggest execution since Anne Boleyn said to Henry 'I have a bit of a stiff neck' and he said 'I have just the thing for that'. Fancy NKI and Rob Lambert to go through the card.
  11. Excellent result for the Stars. Had a sneaky feeling they would get a win at Brandon last night. If Rob Lambert had been available I could have even seen them taking all 4 points. R/R only produced 4 points, so have to think he would have been worth more than that.
  12. Andy Murray is worth around 60m with his 2nd Wimbledon success reportedly about to double his fortune. I would suggest Wuffy Wuffy Wuffy is a few quid short of that. I wonder why.
  13. Mike Ashley and Sport Direct get everywhere lol
  14. Two 7 rider teams 15 heats of Speedway. That's the Sport the rest is just playing around the sport. Do other Sports have such issues week upon week, match after match ? It seems for every Elite league Fixture there is an issue with the make up of one and sometimes both of the teams.
  15. Trees, No matter what you always see the bright side. Except when The Stars dropped from The Elite to The Premier. Still everyone is allowed a black side.
  16. Don't think the sponsorship money would compare to when The Club had Money Centre, Banham Poultry and Jark as sponsors. Plus was pulling in decent gates with a home meeting every week.
  17. SL. Elite League, Premier League, dosent matter what badge you put on it. The whole thing is in critical and without major surgery its a dead duck. What worries me is the people who have been put in charge will look to put another sticking plaster on it and think that will work.
  18. Speedway at Lynn has never been all about winning or losing for me. Blimey Over the years I have seen some pretty average teams in representing Lynn. Never has it felt as flat as this season. I can trace it back to when Young JC parted company with Buster. He had a fresh innovative approach to the modern World of Speedway. Ok, it was never going to capture the feeling of the 70's with 4/5,000 people in the place, but it was a feel good factor about the place even with 1500/2000 in the Stadium. Then when Mike Bennett departed it took another dip and has gone down and down for me. Now I don't really care if I go or not, back in the day I would have done everything in my power to have been there. It is interesting that people like Star Lady, Baggy, ( where has he disappeared to?) GRW, Myself a good few others seem to all appear to have the same feeling after years of solid support.
  19. Glasgow stands out where owners are prepared to invest time effort and of course money into a project. Surprise, Surprise they are getting the rewards. Trees. You can sure count me in the negative club where Lynn Speedway is concerned. Take those Rose tinted glasses off and look at what you are paying for. If you are happy you and the likes of you are prepared to keep rocking up and watching that flat, lifeless dross then that's what they will keep serving up.
  20. I do wonder if the Future of Speedway is really in a safe pair of hands, when it would seem he cant even get his own house in order.
  21. I am not alone in thinking Buster has thrown the towel in on this season.
  22. Think Belle Vue will be once again be too strong for Lynn. Then again its not a very exclusive club this season.
  23. I thought Poole thrived in riding in the wet. Surprised Middlie has allowed this one to be called off.
  24. Plenty of time then to sort the track out. Should be A1 by the time they race on it again.
