  1. With you on that Trees and can't see Buster paying out for KK to fly in and out for 5 minutes work. Thought the idea was cost cutting hence why the new League will be dumbed down
  2. Solid could well be the way forward for most clubs. Swindon have gone with a big hitter in Doyle and once he gets a true average they may well benefit with a good few points to play with. In theory with teams building solid all the way through it should make for interesting racing and results. I'm looking forward to it. Maybe we will see far more interaction between riders and the fans and less of riders flying doing their 5 minutes and not being able to get out of the stadiums quick enough. Here's hoping
  3. In fairness to Buster he has a mammoth job on his hands keeping top level Speedway (the highest level in The UK) afloat. If Leicester and Belle Vue don't come to the table will Sky even bother ? Buster has the job ( of his own choice) at the toughest time Speedway has known in this Country, for a variety of reasons. With all Buster's other interests, as in Bangers and Stocks, Property, Hiring out The AFA for other uses, would anyone really blame him if he pulled the plug on The Speedway at Lynn ? The guy has a true love and feel for the Sport and his prepared to give his time and 100% effort to see it continue. Rob and Dale have the Job of putting together a 1-7, Im sure Buster has given them a budget to work within and both are capable of putting together a competitive side. I for one, wont be sorry to see the Likes of NKI disappear as The UK has been at the bottom of a lot of the GP boys agenda, and who can blame them. In Speedway you now have a massive divide between the haves and the have not's. The Top boys have GP's Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Europeans, World Team Cup other open meetings, plus the UK, if the wish.... The rest have to scrap along with out enough meetings unless they can get a double up role. You only have to look at Craig Cook last season. Its a right old mess to try and sort, and Buster is giving it a go. he might well fail, but it wont be for the want of trying.
  4. Also GB riders who want to be there to entertain and not just pick up a pay cheque at the end of night. Let's hope Buster has the time to sort his track out on top of now being the main man in British Speedway terms. Has he still got Huggys number I wonder
  5. He's been. Past. Tense. Time to move on maybe ?
  6. If NKI is included when does he get a proper average ? All teams should be able to strengthen up at this point
  7. Think Rory is maybe at the stage a boxer gets to when he has taken to many blows. Would love to see him get back to somewhere near where he was, for which ever club. If he can have regain the confidence to mix it again on the first bend then he has a chance if not I hope he does the sensible thing and call it a day. I'm sure he will know in himself where he is at.
  8. What average will Rory have under this new system ? Worth a punt in a glorified Prem League.?
  9. How can anyone say what will be a strong or indeed a weak side until all the points limit's have been decided upon.... In truth we are all p'0888445 in the wind, aren't we ?
  10. Female refs so why not a female team Manager.?Could you get a free transfer from current employers ? 😀
  11. Give Trees the job she's been to more Speedway meetings than anybody those mentioned, you only have to read her postings to feel the passion. Ok Trees who is ya first signing Doolan ? Lol
  12. 7 days in the week he double or even treble up in just the Elite League, would get around this problem if rider shortage of each rider could have 2 or 3 clubs in The Elite. When fixture's clash the rider could end up riding against himself. Watch this space. No different to guesting really, just makes it more official
  13. Over the course of the season I would say Very Average.
  14. Let's spare a thought for the creditors in all of this they are the innocent parties in this and no doubt will have lost money
  15. Buster has it all in hand.... I am sure he will help Poole get back on track next season, after this year's massive disappointment.
  16. Will Poole be permitted to bring a new signing in for Bjarne as well. Or will he now be fit for Wednesday ?
  17. 1. Robert Lambert 2. Lewis Kerr 3. Nicholas Porsing 4. Simon Lambert 5. Rory Schlein 6. Lewis Rose 7. Josh Bailey 😉
  18. Tiger didnt he also fail to appear in a 4's Shared Event at Sheffield at some point ? What was it with him and Owlerton ?
  19. Mike Lee not turning up ? Could you narrow it down a bit more 😀
  20. No idea Spuddy. Didn't score many the only time I've seen him when even Carl Wilkinsin headed him home. Is the E L that High on his list of priorities I wonder.
  21. 6 points surely has to be the real form guide as that was the most current. So all yours to lose by the looks of things. Would you not agree ?
  22. Could be Bjarne face the sack after Wednesday night where some may consider he was withholding his services. 😂 Now back to the real world. Surely Poole can't chuck this away. What were the results from the 2 meeting between the clubs at Monmore this season. That should be a good indicator
