Seems like the Promotions are listening to the fans. If the weather is looking dodgy get it off, as the fans wont come.

Belle Vue V Kings Lynn Stars 9th April

Makes me wonder how much of an impact all these call-offs are having on the finances of The Clubs. Easter must have been a massive blow as traditionally Clubs get good gates over this period. -
Safe yes, good ? See both on the other side of their peak

I hope when Swindon visit that the fans don’t bother booing or throwing insults at the Aussie, just ignore him and treat him with the contempt he deserves. Will need to keep close eye on him with regard to sandpaper in his pocket.

As Bratcholar says he don’t give a stuff what the paying customer thinks of him. Newsflash... most don’t give a toss about what he thinks. Big ego but limited ability at the top level.

Tru Plant Stars v Leicester Lions: KO Cup Wed 4th April

In fairness Webbo as we get toward somewhere and hopefully warmer weather IF it does rain then there is a chance of a quick dry out. In early April that is more unlikely. I think Buster called this one spot on. Speedway and rain ain’t a good mix -

Summer sport is Speedway. Starting the season this early is always gonna put meetings at risk. Even though it’s been an ok day think the damage will have been all done over the Easter weekend -

I too admire Tress for her blind faith in all things King’s Lynn. However it wasn’t always that way as I recall. Still ain’t it great that we ain’t all the same. Sorry Trees that it has become rather repetitive for you, but maybe you should look a little closer to home with those comments -

Yep I’m with Haza. For 18 notes I at least want the chance of being entertained with decent racing. Not watch Buster take off tones of slope with riders then working out if they fancy it or not., I guess I’m not as committed as the likes of Trees. If committed is the word. -
I guess Lee’s feet of clay helped built the idea of what might have been. Thinking back we didn’t know then how lucky we were to witness the spectacle that was unfolding, sadly it was all gone way to soon. Honie it wasn’t just the yanks I think Lee had a good ‘friendship’ with a certain Aussie from just down the road.

I don’t know Trees I quite like the idea of not remembering what I did 5 mins ago

The rise of Lee was a special time at Lynn, the fall was such a bloody waste

Sounds my idea of Easter..... Nurses and eggs

Who gets the Role's of Barzini and Mo Greene ? and who is going to end up sleeping with the Fishes ?

Let’s wait and se before we load the gun let alone fire it. The boy is a self employed Speedway rider whose wages are based on him riding a Motorbike. Where ever that takes him

We finally agree on sumink

Think it is much easier to be successful when you can open the chequebook. I guess Poole fans want to be believe that Riders are desperate to come to Poole because of MF/The Track/The fans/ and wouldn't dare to consider the only reason they come is for the Money Ford throws at them. I have far more respect for Clubs that work to a budget and are sustainable. With the amount of cash Ford throws at it the surprise should be when they don't win the league rather than when they do win it. How many times have we seen Poole choke it when it really counts. Yet the Poole fans are the only ones who cannot see it.
-
I am sure some fans are jealous of the bit of success that Poole have enjoyed under MF, but when you throw money at something for long enough then you will get some kind of reward. In footballing terms the likes of Chelsea have done it in the past, now its the turn of Man City. Even local To Poole, Bournemouth have had a few days in the sun by chucking money at it. Poole will find their own level once the well runs dry. Will that be at Championship or National League, time will tell.
-
Looking forward to picking this issue up on Thursday. Speedway season is truly underway when that hits the shelves. For those who have it delivered, get your pets well away from the letterbox for when that comes through the letterbox.
-
Downward spiral. Think Poole fans should remember him in his pomp.

Good see some of the Toon fans remaining upbeat, but it does look a poor side in comparison to the others. As the saying goes you can’t polish a turd

There is far more than that we have been lacking in recent years Trees. Let’s hope for the wind of change starting in April. Good to see you are back blowing the trumpet again this year.

Pinny, do you want cream or custard with it ?

Come on boys n girls, play nicely. Its only a Forum no need to attack one another.

Maybe you could invite them over to sing it Trees.....
