You tell the modern young Speedway fans that today and they wouldn’t believe what knobheads we looked. Then again they probably would. -

I use to have a motorbike like that when i go to Lynn these days I see myself as a customer not a fan. So that’s how I act. If it’s a meeting I fancy I go if it’s not I don’t. I pay to get in but don’t put a penny piece more into Lynn Speedway. Sad really, for all -
Can’t see Erickson making a big difference to Poole
-
Doesn’t Gino live with The Rose family ....just outside Kings Lynn. Maybe his stat nav ain’t working
-
I don’t give a stuff where Lynn riders are when it’s not a Kings Lynn Team meeting. The PLRC is about the indivdual not the team he happens to ride for. Team Speedway is what works for me. I guess I’m old school but that’s what I was brought up on.
-
I guess the BSPA will continue to run this meeting until such time as they cant turn a profit on it. How times have changed from the days when riders had to battle hard to even get a place at Belle Vue for that end of season Finale. Really meant something to even get there, let alone win it. I guess thats the World of Speedway in The UK in 2018. Amazing what the punters are prepared to put up with these days.

I would think it’s Trackstar who get the admission otherwise there is nothing in it for them. Buster would get a hire fee plus gets the revenue from the Food Drink etc
-
and no risk

I never mentioned anything about a 7.30 start time more the running time. If I can be back on the Road by 9.30 that’s fine for me. I can be indoors drinking my ovaltine/Cocoa by 11.

Matt it matters not with you if are wrong or right. Its not smoke that comes out of your ass.

Ok, Lets put all the BS to one side just for a moment please. This post is NOT a dig at The Pirates, as much as many people will be enjoying their awful start to the season I have a genuine question which is aimed at the real Poole faithful. So Shoovy Forever Blue, Lisa Starman With that name he should be Lynn thru and thru) Poole Quay, any poole fans ( No that doesn't include you MattFordfan) All The pundits, experts, fans had Poole nailed on to be top of the table. What on earth did everyone not see ? Where is the root of the problem ?
-
All I want is a meeting to move along at a decent pace. It is frustrating when after a delayed start they then throw in an interval, no need for it. Accidents happen, people expect a delay but no need for an interval. All I want is a nice steady paced meeting not too quick but not too slow, just enough to keep the interest without it becoming boring. I guess a bit like Webbo’s love making, at his age.
-
I seem to recall someone (Baggy ?) posted a running order, which didn’t include an interval. Would make even more sense as it was late starting. Whippy, I think is not that important if you live down the road, but some of us have to make a lot longer journey than that, to get our fix.
-
100 mins is about right but did they need an interval ?
-
I Guess Danny Some thought he hadn't moved up to the level, quickly as his early potential suggested. Riders mature at different times... Prime example is Jason Doyle. I remember seeing him in his first few years and he looked a million miles away from being a Grand Prix rider, let alone World Champion. Didn't go last night as was at the Footie... On Updates I saw there was an interval taken, But I thought I read previously that there was not going to be an interval.... has that idea now been kicked into the long grass ?

I hope the fans gave The Brat an indifferent welcome back to Saddlebow. In Good form so far this season. Still Plenty of time for that to change -
Somerset v Poole KO Cup Weds 2nd May 2018.

Shovvy knows his Poole stuff. Once the legend that is Chris Holders rides in on his white horse all will be well with World. Matt has made a cock up off the team but he has the cheque’s ready to adjust things. In footballing terms at least Poole can concentrate on the League now -

This surely has to be the start of the big Poole turn around. They really do need a morale boasting win, don't you feel Shovvy ? Yet another defeat could do so much long term damage. -
If, as he says he has done very meetings how come his 'Leicester' bike is at the menders ? bad planning ? Does he have a bike for Rye one for Somerset one for Belle Vue, One for Berwick etc etc etc . ???
