  1. I’m sure they will the same as they would in this Country for the GB team. The surprise to me is how badly it caught out the Poles last night. Wuffy, sublime, majestic and a 1000 other words. Lambert...... Welcome to big time Speedway, it seems you have found a home
  2. I wonder if Cook looked quick enough in practise, I guess the answer must be yes otherwise why did Roscoe start with him ? I guess once Rosco had gone with him he had to start him. In the one race Cook had he looked a little trigger happy ( hence the warning) but once the race was under way he made little to no impression on the rider in 2nd race. In contrast Lambert totally messed up in one race being left at the back and only just failed to follow Wuffy Home.
  3. and If My Auntie had balls..... Fact is Cookie has not started the season well. In The GP he has been blown away, even when he has made the gate Riders have gone past him like he was standing still to leave him tailed off at that back. Whether its the rider, the machinery or a bit of both he isn't the rider he was last season.
  4. How did Holder Junior end up riding in Poland over Britain last season ? He who pays the piper...etc etc
  5. IMHO...Once a deal is made, with whatever Country then the rider should honour that. What about if ya man Woyna was told/asked to do a Polish meeting on a Wednesday his by club and it clashed with a Pirates meet, should he go ?
  6. Was Cook not Ill or injured last week ? If so that's an easy card to pull
  7. Is Rosco stuck with Cook for the final ? Seems a waste to take Cook as a Number 2 only for Lambert to start. Might as well take young Bewley as the U21 rider, then if something happens with Wuffy at least you have a rider to throw in. Cook and his geaqr seems way of the pace at this level, so if a change can be made, why not make it ?
  8. Well When Shovvy gets his teeth into someone.... ( any rider as long as he doesn't ride for Poole) then anything short of hanging isn't justice. Maybe he should look a little closer to home. Blessed are the Cheese makers
  9. Just going by what people who seem to be in know on here are saying.
  10. No NKI, No Lambert, No Holder ..... I'm glad I don't have to fork out 20 quid Plus for that.
  11. Robert Lambert came over as a very level headed, focused young man, in interview. All credit to him
  12. Alcohol abuse is no excuse for statements like that ! and why was I not invited ?
  13. What defies all logic is you making that statement after following Speedway for 50 plus years.
  14. Speedway fans will watch this.... Football fans will watch England.... Those who are unsure will tune into Britains Got talent or some other form of cheap TV
  15. I hope Buster leaves enough space in the car park for Webbo to land his Chopper.
  16. Maybe getting a club in The Championship would help Anderson’s develop in the UK
  17. How about the lad Atkins, what’s the word on him? Beat Kemp twice around West Row last Sunday
  18. I'm sorry folks.... But I'm past caring about riders missing for whatever reason. We are just a minor country when Speedway is concerned. Those who pay the piper call the tune.
  19. Who Knows Steve, I have long given up on trying to digest Speedway 'rules' in this Country. I would just say if a Polish Club rode a meeting on an 'off' night for them and one of their riders was programmed to appear elsewhere...... what would the outcome be ?
  20. Cant believe Buster would allow his captain to go missing to ride in Denmark or is this fixture a re-arranged one ? if so then that's a different matter
  21. Fair play to Somerset, they did the business. Lot of weight on Lamberts shoulders. With running with R/R the team could afford for one to have an off night, but not more. Masters did himself or us no favours. That’s always the risk with guests. I wonder if Mini Holder will put a call into fallen hero Holder giving him advise on how to ride Saddlebow?
  22. Masters 6 from 4 rides Palm Toft 6 (5) Proctor 9 (6) Lambert 16 (6) Kerr 10 (6) Anderson 2 (3) 49-41
