Kings Lynn Vs Somerset: TV meeting : Mon 30-07-2018
semion replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Buster has a great opportunity for Kings Lynn to make a real fist of the play-offs. One signing could turn an ok season into a great one. Will he be able to get his hands deep enough into his pockets to make it happen.? Think history teaches us many things so I won’t hold my breath -
Poole v Kings Lynn. Prem B. 1st August 2018

Can see Poole walking all over an Andersonless Stars team. The hottest property in World Speedway apart I can’t see too much there to trouble in the inform Pirates. Enjoy the boy wonder must remind the Poole fans of Chris Holder in his heyday. -

Somerset Ressies will keep Lynn honest all night. 6/8 point home win -
The Guy Osbourne wants to re-develop the ground at Torquay but of course there are other 'facilities' he want to include in the plans. 40m project and he has a big supporter in the Chairman of the local council. He was a born and bred Bristol Rovers fans, didn't stop that one being flattened and turned into retail.

Who owns the freehold ?

Wimborne Road got a mention in today’s Non League Football paper, as did Swindon, Reading, Milton Keynes and Eastville. The article was on Torquay FC and thier owner Clark Osbourne. His company is Gaming International which has a subsidiary Stadia Uk Ltd.

After the hard working of seeing off both Poole n Swindon and the impressive away win at Leicester it would be criminal not to take anything but 3 points against a Doyleless Zumerset. Who are at 6n7 for The Rebels ? -

Looks a straight shoot out between Rebels and Stars who will finish top. I wonder who Buster and Dale will pick for the semi ?. Id fancy Poole think our top 5 would blow there's away over 2 legs. -
Mainman Lol getting found out again. Just amazing how many club owners still entertain him. Not only got his sums wrong at Kings Lynn but actually had riders pulling engine failures, etc to try to reduce averages in front of a paying public. What a p155 taker the guy is. Like Racin Jason says he did all that only to realise afterwards he had actually got the math wrong. Then tried to move the blame elsewhere.

I'm not sure his wife will agree with that statement -

I am sure all be resolved when they move into their new stadium. Farewell meeting must be at the end of the season surely ? The contractors and Russell cannot keep rolling out the same lame old excuses for another season, can they >? -

Get out of jail card there for Lynn. Poole have the all round strength. Their Reserves got them within touching distance of a win, but then when the big guns come into play in 13 & 15 they came up a little short. That's the way Ford has built the team, its packed rather than built around 2/3 riders. You pays ya money and takes ya choice. Trouble is Klint is so hit and miss, and they need him to fire big time in the minor heats. -
After last night Lambert will have a clear insight on where he needs to be at to compete at this level. He ain’t that far away. It’s the little things that make all the difference. Wouldnt bet against him being in there competing in the next couple of years. The talents there.

I thought it was more generic saying that must Clubs used on car stickers available at most club Shops, but I stand to be corrected. Richard are you the whistle blowing drum banging man Samba man ?
-
Surely that would more be ‘Make it a date, Friday at 8’ ?
-
I more remember the sticker for the back window with ‘Happiness is 40-38’

All this Man Love.... Ok what’s going on ?

Garrity is ya real 'marmite' rider. I think he could be entertaining to say the least, but if he scores the points what's not to like. Just as long as he doesn't break out into..... You were made for me or Im telling you now. Has anyone got his stats around Lynn ?
-
Look we have Buster in charge of The BSPA and his side sick Godfrey running with Auty at Scunthorpe. There must have been ways around it 5% here Special dispensation there, best interests etc etc. I am sure between them they could have made it happen.
-
What is Garritys recent history like around Saddlebow.? Or would Auty have been a better bet ?
