Poole v Kings Lynn. 11/4/2019 Shield 2nd leg
semion replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I see Middlo is being granted a benefit meeting next year. Is the guy really short of a few bob or is it just total greed on his part.? I mean how much will he net out of it after paying 40% tax on it ? -
Think a few Linnets Football fans who like thier Speedway or vice verse Speedway fans who like thier Football might be pleased with this. Kings Lynn FC are away to St Neots Kick Off 3pm.
-
No guarantee per meet but maybe a decent amount up front as a signing on fee ?

Never saw that one coming ( did anyone ?). Didn’t even follow it on updates. What is going wrong at Poole? ( after reading Shovvys post). Added to the No Team unit look about then with the Kevlars. Has Matt lost interest ? Well done The Stars on that result -

Anyone who has a pen whoever does it the post match interview cannot be any worse than the one given by Campos after the Poole debacle -

I have often heard Poole fans claim they are the Manchester Utd of the Speedway World. i wonder if Paul Pogba has to bring his own shorts and socks to a game ? Old Trafford ... Theatre Of Dreams Wimborne Road.... Theatre of Mean. Ragbag Utd to win this one by 22-24 -

No doubt about it the first Trophy of the season will be going in the Poole Trophy cabinet. Can take one of the ‘Dog Collars’ out to make room for it. -

Let’s not even go there Sing! I hope Lynn rock up and put on some kind of show on for the Poole faithful. -
I hope Peterborough fans invite Buster to thier Xmas bun fight. Never forget what happened to Mildenhall when he didn’t get an invite

Kings Lynn v Poole Mon 8/4/19 Prem Shield 1st leg
semion replied to SteveLyric2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Buster don’t have to worry about spending his hard earned on a competitive team. He can still turn a decent profit on all the local Derby’s that will attract plenty of visitors to cover the poor crowds for the other fixtures. No mug is he ? As he once said ... you know where the door is. Wise man that Buster, wish I’d taken notice of him years back. Still better late than neve. -

It’s a long old season, don’t give up on The Stars just yet. Wait a couple of weeks. -

For me Title favourites Poole should walk through this Lynn team 6/8 point away win. -
Thinking ahead. What average would Stefan Neilson be on for The Premiership ? Think that boy is in for a big, overdue season. Was the Lynn Mascot for good few years. Lived near Watton back in those days

Allit has been ill and still not fully recovered. Surprised Buster didn’t get Rob Lyon to help out -

Is Buster prepping the track at Foxhole as well ? -
I agree Baggy, but it is what it is. Tungate is a decent replacement for on the wain Harris. The Cook situation can’t be laid at Buster’s door as a contract hadn’t been signed so he was never a P’Boro rider to lose. At what point did Ged or Neil make it public that Cook had not signed for the Club ? To my limited knowledge they didn’t. So was that Busty’s fault as well ? Chapman gets a lot of krap on this forum, and plenty of it maybe justified. Just don’t see what he has done that wrong on this one
-
But Baggy lets create a conspiracy theory so that we can hammer Buster. Easy target. So the guy is successful and has made a few bob. Hardly a hanging offence is it ? Or do supporters think all promotions should work thier butt off for no return ?

Think Buster will be ‘looking’ for a tight match with the home side just getting home. -
Why not go back to the old days when on a wet day riders would wear a boiler suit over their leathers. Each club could wear a different colour. Thats me saving all clubs a few K
-
Sad really when you see a club like Poole who once had the reputation of signing all the top riders and being the one club allthe big guns were desperate to ride for. Probably the most professional run club for a good number of years. Now reduced to looking like Ragbag Utd. Couldn’t the Poole fans on here set up a crowd funding to buy some team Kevlars. The likes of Shovvy, and his love for Piratesshould be good for a few K How about it Steve ?
-
Never mind Cook and Summers tell me more about this new Pie shop extension!. Has Mrs Miggins got Busters ok with this food outlet and is he getting a cut ? When Buster held a fan’s forum meeting after taking over the local football club I well remember his rallying call when challenged over something he didn’t like. ’you know where the exit is’ You have been warned
-
What actually is the going rate for a GP failed rider ? Batcholar kind of numbers I guess. So Cook has Glasgow and what else on in Sweden and Poland ?
-
Good luck to NKI if he has signed up at P’Boro. Gives him a chance to get set up early for the GP’s etc. He owes Lynn supporters nothing so why shouldn’t he earn a few quid before the real stuff starts. Lynn have a team set-up for the season ( injuries permitting) If PUK signs then Panthers will be looking for a new No 1 in 8/10 weeks, and we all know there is a big queue of those waiting to ride in the UK
