  1. and what would be the right thing for the BSPA to do, in your view ?
  2. Was there any mention of the fee involved for Peterborough signing him from Lynn ?
  3. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/9166297.stm Told you that Buster wouldnt have gone public unless it was 100%
  4. Would be good if Ippo did come down, hopefully back to the Good Friday double headers of years gone by. Kings Lynn fans "suffered" the same fate when Buster decided that Speedway at Saddlebow was only only sustainable by dropping down to the Premier League. In the short term it does take some getting use to. However after a while you do get use to the lower standard of racing. Speedway has it core supporters, who come rain or shine, however your floating fans turn up to watch a successful team, which I am sure Ipswich will be at a lower level. I would say at Kings Lynn the gates compare quite favourably with when they were last in the Elite League.
  5. Surely that kind of information should be displayed in the Clubs Programme.
  6. especially with such an unsteady economy and the fact I would like to see our admission prices remain the same for next season. Busters words taken from the EDP. If he wants to see them the same, then surely they will remain the same, or who is going to over rule him ? JC or Cheryl ? Over to you Screamer
  7. I think that is a big plus for many people. Although I think crowds all over the country will be down next season. Makes me wonder how clubs will fall by the wayside during the season. Riders and Clubs might also struggle for sponsorship as well.
  8. I am sure if there was anything to tell, Buster would have released a statement. No news is good news in this case. He was quick enough to tell the fans of Doolan's departure and the fact there will be no increase in admission for next season. For me it doesnt matter if the Club own a rider or not. With the sport being tied up by riders averages, changes happen each and every season, making it certain that riders move around. If you look at Buster's asset base it must bring him a good few quid in loan fee's each year.
  9. I would have thought that any transfer fee received for Doolan will more then offset any outlay on loan fees. Not forgetting the huge transfer fee they banked from the sale of Ward this time last year
  10. I would have thought that as his signing for 2011 was announced then Buster would have agreed terms and had Lasse's name on a 2011 contract.
  11. Well someone is bull******* I still dont believe Buster would not announce something that was not a done deal. Have faith
  12. I cant see Bjerre junior being anywhere but Kings Lynn. Buster wouldnt have announced his signing if he wasnt 100% sure.
  13. How about a return and a swan song for Shane Parker at Kings Lynn, how would the fans feel feel about that one ?
  14. I am shocked that Doolan wont be at Saddlebow in 2011. I always thought he had a real lover affair with the Lynn Promotion and its fans. With things expected to be really tough in general next year, i am totally amazed that Doolan is wanting more cash for next season. Seems like a real breakdown between the parties as he is being sold on and not loaned out.
  15. If all clubs are looking at cost cutting, then Sheffield would make the most sense for Doolan to end up. Cheap travelling expenses for a start.
  16. http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/alan_partridge_returns_with_north_norfolk_in_his_sights_1_710328 North Norfolk Radio presenter .....Now who could that be based on ? (clue you get him most Wed nights at the Norfolk Arena)
  17. I guess it depends on which Lambert turns up. For sure he was flying, judging by his scores, at the end of the season. However on the flip side he also got the sack from Scunny and also acheived a 3 plus average for a reason.
  18. Interesting point that. Could the BSPA not just take back the license, as they did with Ray Mascall at Mildenhall ?
  19. Tel, i want the best of both worlds Kerr to stay on a 5 plus, and Bjerre to be reduced by a point. If not I guess replace Davies with Lambert.
  20. Will young Bjerre we on a 6 or 7 point average ? I think he only did 11 meetings, but I am sure riders have been re-assessed without reaching the required 12 meetings. If Bjerre comes in on a 6..then I would go for. Doolan Bjerre Kerr Schramm Topinka Roynon Davies
  21. Why have people been "banned" ? Seems a strange set up, banning people who want to spend money with you.
  22. Did Pawlicki win the meeting in Poland ? I am not sure if Shovlar has mentioned this point yet.
  23. Looks the strongest team The Young Stars have put out all season.
