Please attack the post by all means. Leave the personal insults out. Your comment that you were talking to Stephens and if all things go well then Boweden is gone, surely that would suggest that this was part of this confidential conversation ?
-
So Stephens told you in confidence that Bowden is on his way out ? Handy old boy you are to keep a secret.

It gives me no pleasure to hear of Kev Doolan struggling at Foxhole. I wonder what Simmonds has done to him ? Ippo have paid Lynn for a 10 point Number one and turned him into a 7 point 2nd string all in the space of 18 months. Maybe it was a cunning plan of Busters to send over Secret agent Doolan, thats Doolan, Kev Doolan(000) licensed to mess up the twitchers. maybe Louis could beg Rob Lyon to take him back for a while and sort him out for them.

Kings Lynn World Cup 9 July
semion replied to steve19620's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I would have sooner gone for Barker. Plenty of passion about the lad. More so than Danny King. We shall see later if Middlo has got it right with him. Lets just hope neither Tai or Scotty are affected by those recent injuries. -

I hope Middlo has got it right with 2 riders returning from injury and a big gamble in Danny King. -
Just £11 ? £11 is a lot to some families these days.

The Louis' felt this team was good emough to be there or there abouts, maybe when Lanham starts to fire and Poole is back in harness then it will be all guns blazing. Leave well alone, just get rid of that Nick Simmons
-
How about a certain Mr Topinka, Would Rye fans fancy that ?
-
As matter of interest Malcolm how many riders of 16 yeaers old will you be including at Stoke this coming season ? Genuine question, as I have no idea of your team for 2012. However I would expect it to be crammed full of young British talent.

Looks Like 'regrets, he had a few', but 'did it my way' then Mainman. Or was it more a case of 'Its up to you Newport.... Newport'...Frank Sinata indeed. -
Snackie, You dont remember the Sky meeting where Simmons was continully refered to as 'Nick' then.? You look forward to your season and dwindling crowd numbers. Just remember if you ever want to enjoy proper speedway racing Saddlebow really isnt that far, and how much you are paying to watch that standard.
-
Its always good friendly banter... One of the main reasons for the under acheiving was taking a rider like Doolan and for whatever reason him dropping 2 points off his average. Also I think Rob Lyon would have got more out of an obvious talent that is Jerran Hart, than Nick Simmons did.
-
Ignorant ? How does making a strong team ( 2011) like Ipswich make me that ? I think the pundits in the Star also made them favourites. I would suggest you try a mirror my freind. Once Ipswich have acheived what Kings Lynn did in their short stay in the Premier League, then maybe that is the time to start patting ones self on the back for ending up 3rd in the 2nd tier of British Speedway and winning some trophy involving 3 other teams. Big deal. I thought I read that the Ipswich crowds had shown no improvment in numbers between 2010 and 2011. As people were saying how badly they had dropped off in 2010, I guess the Ipswich public were somewhat disappointed as well in 2011. Would you not agree ?
-
Pre-season favourites and ending up 3rd, is hardly anything to shout about. Now being predicted to finish in the bottom 2, and ending up 3rd is really something to shout about... As for winning a 4 team tournmount where the rules allow you to use your number 1 as a reserve, well done, it must make you so proud.
-
Looks a very good line-up. Will last seasons big under achievers acutally come good this year ? Premier League Champs 2012. Back in the Elite League 2013. It would be awful to see Ippo choke 2 seasons on ther spin
-
Hows about Darran Mallet, is he fit to returnn, or has he called it a day ?
-
Lucky those French did you a favour Dai Bryn, as those All Blacks would have had your boys bleeting.

Aljack after last night, Harto's name has to be the first signing for Nick Simmons.
-
I have left out harto, as I dont feel his undoubted talents are fully appreciated at The Foxhole. Topinka has had abad run of injuries and hasnt been at his best this, still think the guy is worth than this years average, so will be a steal for someone. He is younger than World Champ elect Greg the grin. Mcgowan is another who will be a real steal for a Premier Club Next season. is there anything stopping Blackbird from doubling up with those Fen Tigers next season ? He is worth a go at Premier league level, or maybe look at Lewis Kerr, another who has come back well from injury. Doolan, now that is a strnage one, has he really lost that much in the space of a few short months, or is it just down to Motors draining him of confidence ? As for Schramm, he does what it says on the tin. Will get points everywhere he goes.
-
Heeps and Blackbird should be worth more than their starting average, as should Poole. Mcgowan, Doolan and Topinka are all worth more than their average for 2012. Plus you get that extra expereince with these guys to help the younger ones along. Schramm would do a job as 3rd heat leader/2nd string. To me there is at least 6/7 points inprovement in that team.
-
1. Doolan 2. Topinka 3. Schramm 4. Poole 5 McGowan 6 Heeps 7. Blackbird
-
Aljack stick Hart on the end of the 6 you mention and you have the league title challeging side. Can see Harto coming good next season, and making 2nd heat leader status.
-
The way Coventry are building it up once again for the end of the season, and Poole starting to find problems. Noddy knackered again, Riders who were on form at the start of the season now struggling etc etc. Shovvy could well be repeating this again after this seasons play-offs. IF Poole choke it yet again, they will never live it down.
