  1. So if Lynn named say Darren Mallet, then when Lambert became 16 and changed the team before a wheel had been turned, would that make you feel better ? You aint a Traffic warden by any chance, are you ?
  2. Is the guy who started it all off at Mildenhall, Terry Waters, still around ?
  3. Was anything mentioned last night about Easter meetings ?
  4. I would suggest when the Promotor of the Speedway actually owns the Staduim, it can make life a little easier in fitting in dates. If This season, just gone is anything to go by im glad its starting later.. Nice to see us with 5 assets of our own in the team, and 2 borrowed from the BSPA. I think we will do ok, might not win, but then thats nothing new for us. So I am sure the Lynn fans will take what ever comes along, enjoy our racing on one of the best circuits available in the country. We will be happy enough. I wonder if the fans down in Dorset will be as happy if they have an average season. Maybe the Shovvy book of lame excuses will have a few new chapters added this season.
  5. I think we should take notice of what Shovy has to say. If anyone knows about a team not being able to cut it when it matters he is firmly in the know. Queens of the Chokers.
  6. Could 14 finally be the Year. Looks like Buster has out together a stonking team. Like Baggy has said this team will get better as the season progress's. Looking forward to see Lambert develop.
  7. Buster is the real deal in supporting young British riders, while all clubs are forced to run with 2 he takes it a step further and runs with 3. Yet all Orion can do is pull it to pieces. Unreal
  8. What a fantastic draw card Lambert will be for Buster. 16 years of age, British, not only British but a local lad from within the County ( no 6 finger jokes please, as we have heard them all, and they are sooooo zzzzzzzzzzz boring). To have the opportunity to watch this young lad progress is going to be a real treat. For those that have not seen him, he is a bit special. Lets just give him the time and the space to find his feet, then watch him go.
  9. To start with maybe not, but lets see how he is performing come the end of the Year. Some people remember a certain other 16 year old who joined Kings Lynn in the mid 70s. I think he banged in an average of over 7 in that season. That was in a league which was without doubt the best league in the World at that time. Now I am not saying Lambert will be as a good as that, but I would bet money on him ending the season on a much higher average than 3.
  10. Lambert is worth more than £40 a point, so cant see him on that list when he reaches 16.
  11. I can see there being standing room only at the Walks tonight. Should be more people there tonight than there was to watch the Football Club play there Tuesday night
  12. Thats the same as a Footballer Kissing the badge. I am sure Nicki would always ride for who gives him the biggest pay cheque. Its a business, hense why he isnt riding over here, because it would take someone to be in the Brown solids to be able to pay what Nicki wants. Who can blame him
  13. Why is that Greg ? You dont think him good enough for us ? I would love Buster & Rob to build an Elite (?) League winning team. Its about time. Never won it in nearly 50 years. So surely no one would begrudge us one title, would they ?
  14. Frostie is a good freind to the Stars.. Join Him Bigcat and get down to Saddlebow next season.
  15. Is Connor Mountain not worth a place stepping up from the Development League ?
  16. I thought you would like to see him back as a Stars rider ? Cant see that, and him having a good season as compatible.
  17. Good to see Mads fixed. It would appear he didnt have to many opitions open to him the way teams were filling up. Its about time we had our own secret agent. Having read Mads would love to finish at Lynn, next season might be the perfect opportunity for him to work on his average for 2015.
  18. I always thought Vasey was his own man and no ones puppet. As Team Manager he surely would be involved in team selections, changes etc. Fact is he managed a team that finished rock bottom. How many teams in any sport would keep a Manager on after a season like 2013
  19. Like you say a few of the top boys have said they won't do Britain , but NKI is not one of them, thus far. I think he will be there. Last year was the best for him in Speedway terms. As they say if it ain't broken etc
  20. What average is Kenni Larsen on ? and I seem to recall he went well around Saddlebow last season. Worth a mention
  21. Screamer he might not be good enough to play with the big boys at the start of the season, but I would suggest come the end of the season he will have some notable scalps to his name. After all The League isn't won until the last 2 meetings of the season.
  22. If Buster and Rob see fit to leave Mads out, then you have to back that. Maybe Rosco wants him back and gets first dibs on him
  23. Who was it said you win nothing with kids. Watch this space. I wonder what odds I could get on a Belle Vue Kings Lynn play off final ?
  24. That Malc Vasey must have the a rabbits foot, 4 leaf Clover, Horse shoe etc tucked under his cap, to have kept his job. Since he joined he has taken them from respectable mid table Premier League side to a rock Bottom National League side. Poor Old Martin Jol wasnt even bottom and he got the order of the tin tack.
