I would have thought Matt Ford would want to strengthen this team up. He is a born winner. -

I think any Genuine Speedway fan should feel for the Brummies. Havent we all ( Poole fans excluded of course) been there ? I remember at Lynn In Waggys last season there. Use to turn up in blind hope for just an odd win at Saddlebow. It really was a poor team, and all the fans knew it from the start. -

Surely all riders go through peaks and troughs during the course of a season. Maybe this is Ales's time for a down turn. I wonder if the fans would be calling for Mon The Fish and his 6 fingered salutes if he had been poor in the opening few meetings ? Another example from the Panthers camp of last year would be Norbert. He couldnt buy a point at the start of the season, got the sack, then was brought back and was a different rider. -

I think Panthers fans should be careful what they wish for. Ok, Dryml has not had the greatest of starts to the season. Then again if you wind the clock back 12 months to a certain Mr Hougaard, and look how he turned it around for you guys. -

Really surprised Somerset went with Morris in heat 15, been much better going with Procter. -

Looking forward to getting mine tonight -
In all Sports fans do love 'one of their own' It is far easier to relate to a local lad, and hope he makes good. The team members who are just guns for hire are much harder to take to. This is the same in all Sports. The Norwich City Fans are loving the 2 Young Murphy boys from Downham, who have come through the ranks at Colney, than a lot of the Players from abroad who they know will only be at the Club until relegation comes ( which ever season that is). They then move on to the next club that offers the best terms. Its the same in Speedway. Hopefully Kerr, Rose and Lambert can be seen at Saddlebow for many years to come.

Against a strong looking Lakeside and with Only 9 points from 15 by Ward and a poor night for their new signing the signs look ominous for the rest of the league. So thats one team in the play-offs who will the other 3 be ? -

Malc you must gutted. PnP day now on Sunday meaning you won't be able to take advantage of the £1 entrance fee for the Merrivale Model Village on the same day. -
It's all very well for Harkness to offer an apology but what is he and the crest of the BSPA going to do to put matters right ? Let me take a wild stab in the dark, they will do **** all squared. Anyone running a business knows that the customer is King. The BSPA will carry in treating is all like the mug punters we are, while we let them.
