  1. I think the home form so far this season has been a case of getting away with it. Each week we have never had all 7 riders on song, Most weeks its 5 at best. Even NKI has had an off night ( by his own high standards). Rory just doesnt seem the same rider than ended last season. He looks low on confidence and his bikes seem to go backwards at times. Lets not forget riders get paid by what they score, so I am sure he will be working overtime to get things back on track. As for Young Lambert, I really dont know what people expect. He is 16 learning his trade a 3 point rider, has to go up against 3 heat leaders and 2 second strings in his rides, yet is performing above his starting average. When you look at other clubs and their development riders, I wouldnt swap Rose for any of the 2nd picks. The boy is a massive talent, but like all riders he has to pay to learn his craft. He will have good days and of course he will have bad ones. I think Once Rory clicks, and Lambert gets off the start level with the other riders on a regular basis we will see some big wins coming our way.
  2. I would have thought if Roscoe is sticking with Simon he should be looking at ways he can help the lad, which in turn would help the team. After all Roscoe has the title of TEAM Manager. I wonder if he will be slagging of the likes of Cook/Harris etc, live on TV if they dont perfom at The World Team Cup ?
  3. So is Simon going to number 2 or is Roscoe getting rid ? Confused.com
  4. Come October Poole could have gone through 7/8 Reserves. Is Matty just hoping to get lucky and hit on a rider who can do it for him ? Surprised that someone of Fords expertise doesn't do his homework on these riders, rather than seemingly relying on striking lucky.
  5. But we ain't been struck by injuries. Bjerre should be back on Monday. The best is yet to come from Rory and Lambert. Team Lewis will also continue to improve IMHO so will Porsing. Good enough for the play-offs yes good enough to win it ? Who knows come October. Let's worry about that if and when that is a possibility
  6. The start of the end ? Ffs. Is it being so cheerful and optimistic that keeps you going ?
  7. I'm sure Rory himself is well aware of how poor he is performing, he only has to look at his pay cheque. The beauty is the team is picking up results without having all 7 riders firing on all cylinders. Is Roscoe now the Special one?
  8. Looks like the refs cock up in heat 2 cost Lynn a point.
  9. Cant see Simon beating Porsing, as for beating Lambert, if the lad gates on level terms cant see Son Of Henka beating him either.
  10. If only they had MJJ as well, then life would be almost perfect.
  11. Comfy Home win. Should be all done and dusted by heat 11/12, thats if Poole are serious about the play-offs.
  12. I understand that. What i dont get is how that encourages new/lapsed supporters to give it another it a go/another go ? To me, it seems the people who will take advantage of the deal is maybe those that would be attending both meetings anyway.
  13. Could it have the adverse effect on some ? In as much as people who can only make one of the meetings may feel they are overpaying for that one meeting compared to other supporters ? If the object is to draw back the fans who have deserted surely an offer that would be available to all would be a better option.
  14. Why are Brum making this offer ? Could it be suggested they need a quick cash injection from the fans ?
  15. As Long as he is fit, that excellant news. Still think we will get what we usually do at Lakeside. Sod all.
  16. I would have thought Wimborne would make for better viewing.... watching riders trying to avoid the holes.
  17. Is it secret or is it top secret ? If he told you Tsunami he would have to kill you lol
  18. I think Rob has selected well for the Brum meeting. I guess we could always select better but only Rob knows what was available to him.
  19. Could it be that the wrong type of leaves were on the track. Or maybe They couldnt move the score on from 0-0 as the points were frozen ?
  20. Maybe Patchett could put his hand in his pocket and bring in a replacement for Simon
  21. I am sure Batch will perform a lot better than he did at Monmore. So I think Swindon will push Lynn close, but not to close.
