  1. Sorry Skidder whats the odd Lick here and there. Now corrected. Did i get the Czech bit right >?
  2. As I recall Lynn were on a 5-1 to win the meeting in heat 13 Jolly dropped it, was thrown out of the race. Louis won the rerun for a 3-3 and Ipswich won the meeting. Then a few years later who did Lynn sign..... Kevin Jolly.
  3. Kevin Jolly (Ippo) was the one i remember in an Old Farm Derby v Lynn.
  4. Have to say Neil is very good with his press releases for all things Peterborough, Likes to keep the speedway public up to speed. Well almost all things.
  5. KKS MJJ or whatever this weeks letters are is like rubbish in a field....He gets everywhere.
  6. Poole should make a good fist of this one. Ward, the most exciting rider in the World. magic, ex Lynn rider, flies around Saddlebow. Pawlicki the 3rd one of the Under 21 holy trinity, should score big time. Milik, well we know at Lynn how much the Czechs loves Saddlebow. Big star in the maining according to Shovvy. Josh, looking like the next big Aussie find, again should thrive on the big open spaces at Lynn. Newman, he must be top of the averges ( or very close) of all the draft riders, so should be up the task against Lynns 2 drafts. Hopwood, everyone knows Matty can pick a winner. Just hands them over to Middlo and stands back and watchs the development.
  7. Then again if my Auntie had balls she would be my Uncle. Everyone knows the rules about the 6 pointers, like it or lump it.
  8. Taken from the EDP...... He would love to give Lambert the point to keep things even !!! What kind of comment is that for a ref to make. http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/kings-lynn-stars/outside_assistance_controversy_fails_to_halt_in_form_king_s_lynn_stars_at_lakeside_hammers_1_3607554
  9. It seems there is the letter of the law and the spirit of the law.
  10. Great idea, ( i dont think) cos the laws/Rules arent complicated enough as they are.
  11. The key to it now is get the bike laid down on lap 2, then see if the Ref awards it.
  12. In Fairness how many number ones who are at the same level as NKI want to ride in the UK ? There lies the problem why so many teams now go without a top notch big hitter. Cov, Eastie, Leicester, Lakeside, Birmingham. Thats over half the teams in the League.
  13. Darcy with his Cruciate problem will maybe look to struggle on until the end of the season, but it can give way on him at anytime. He can struggle on and try and pick his way through the season, but he must know in his head every time he puts that foot down when On a Speedway bike he risks it giving out on him. If Middlo and Ford want to do the best thing by him then they should release him from his UK committments and go out and bring somelike like KK, or The Grin in. They have the contacts , they have the money, so what is stopping them ?
  14. I read the posts and didnt think there anything untoward in them, certainly nothing away from comments that were being directed back at him. To me, Malcolm was just defending his corner. Hardly in the Scudamore League, were they. In hindsight maybe the poster felt it was a futile excercise trying to argue the toss, as it seems certain people have a real downer on Stoke. Just seems a little unfair that Vasey is copping the flak for what appears to be peoples feeling toward Stoke Speedway. The guy is only the Hired help, can he really be held responsible for all the past misdemeanors at Stoke, that may have occured ?
  15. Like Baggy and Tel I hang my head in shame. I couldn't see anything beyond a right tonking for us last night. This Lynn team is a little bit special. All credit to Rob and Buster. Just shows us fans know sod all. Maybe Rob should get his CV to Delia
  16. Malcolm do ever wonder if that 10 hour round trip is worth it every Saturday ?
  17. Tai as replacement now running into a spot of form. Could be game on now.
  18. The point is Lynn have known of this problem for 3 weeks loads of time I would suggest to organise a replacement if they had wanted to. I wonder if this meeting was later on the season and Lynn needed say 1 point to make the play-offs. Would we have gone with R/R. However that's what Buster and Rob have gone with, seems a business decision not a sporting one.
  19. I cant see why Hans Anderson should be blamed. Did he do the same thing last season while at Swindon ? He is a self employed Speedway rider and has several employers in different Countries. When he takes bookings he is going to take the booking that pays him the biggest return. He is really that much different to any other self employed person ? Cov had an option, but decided against taking it.
  20. Red, maybe he thought he was fit to go on saturday, but it turned out he really wasnt after giving it ago, so then declared himself unfit for tonight, with of course a doc's note to prove it. Take Ward he hasnt been fit for Poole but has done a Polish meet and a couple of Grand Prixs.
  21. I would think Rob and Buster sat down and targeted certain away matches as winnable, also others where we could nick a point. Then the rest were maybe considered dead in the water rubbers. Lakeside has been a real dessert for Lynn as far as points gathering goes over the years. If Buster is saving up the cash ready for a real top liner ( No disrespect to the likes of Watt & Nicholls) to give us a real chance against Poole On Thursday, then as fans are we really that bothered ?
  22. Boozer/Proud Potter, could it be suggested that you abuse each other via PM ?
