If Kerr is going to be out for any length of time then maybe Lambert should be re-declared as FDR to replace Kerr, as many people thought he should have been before the start of the season. Thus allowing Lynn to bring in a 2nd string on up to a 5.5 average. As Delboy would say tete de veau

Looking at the Newcastle meeting it would seem Rose rode in the re-run of the heat where he had his spill. Fingers crossed.
-
How about Simon Lambert ? He sure knows his way around Saddlebow and looked ok the other week

Team Lewis will take some replacing. With The Elite League Reserves riding in 2/3 League plus guesting here there and everywhere the law of averages tells you injuries to these riders are bound to come. I think there are a good few of the FTR now injured which is going to put even more strain on the system and the other riders that are still fit.

Is there anyone available to replace KB, or will we go with R/R ? Still we have Belle Vue to worry about first. Palm Toft is good for a few points based on his last performance at Lynn. Nicholls Zager, Worrell and Cook should all score well.

If the Saddlebow Road junction is closed, how are firms on the estate trading ?

I think a fair test of Rosco's Motivational skills will be the World team Cup. If he gets Team GB through then he can be considered as cut above previous RECENT managers. If not he is in the mix with the rest who have failed. To be fair. he has the World Champ, Grand Prix rider now coming into form, the pick of X number of up and coming riders, so he has a better chance than the others had.

Oh Rosco

If gates are still falling,at certain Elite League teams, as I have seen reported on here by certain members, what can they do next to cut costs ? How much further does it have to drop before its at an end ?
-
I think the whole thing is open to abuse. Ben Hopwood would be "injured" before he lined up for heat 2.
-
SL, No maybe about it.

I feel 2 races with Ressies v Ressies is one too many. Heat 2 is enough. By all means give the 6 & 7 4 rides ( or 8 in total), but it does need shuffling about somewhat. The race format does need a spot of fine tuning.

At Lynn NKI ( World number 3) has had a few duff meetings recently. Do you see any Lynn fans getting on his back ? Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for. IF, ( crazy I know) Wolves were to get shot of Woffy, do the Wolves fans think there is a queue of riders just waiting to take his place ? Cos not, But I would bet there would be a queue of clubs begging Woffy to join them.

Brummies V Belle Vue 11/6/14
semion replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I feel Belle Vue have been the seasons under acheivers thus far. I would have had them nailed on for top 4 with the line-up they had on paper. I guess one or 2 riders have gone backwards instead of the predicted forwards. -
Is it just a British thing, but we dont half like to build people up in this Country, just so we can knock em down. I am sure no one knows better than the rider himself that he isnt quite hitting all the high spots. Ask yourself if you were a rider would you want to put yourself on the line in every ride you had ? Tai is going to get beat, he is out there with a bloody big target on his back, after all everyone wants to beat the World Champ, dont they. Lets enjoy having a British World Champion, after its not as though they come along very often.
