Will Busters Team Talk be along these lines ?? But we in it shall be remembered- We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile, This day shall gentle his condition; And gentlemen in England now-a-bed Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks 44-46 -
Lynn have never ever been top of Elite League or when it was just the plain old British League, so for me it would be a massive positive. People outside of Lynn maybe won't remember it but I'm sure Lynn fans will. As for the play-offs I think a lot of Stars fans aren't expecting to win the thing, so any progress will be taken as a bonus

NKI's latest column in the EDP http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/kings-lynn-stars/inside_track_2014_world_number_three_niels_kristian_iversen_s_weekly_look_inside_the_norfolk_arena_1_3768256 What do the Lynn fans think to Mikkel Bech's comments in yesterdays Star that we wants to be at Kings Lynn next season ?

To be fair to Jack, he cannot be expected to be in a postion to answer questions, where he as little to no knowledge. After all the guy was only a paid employee. The way I read it is the guy is saying from his prospective Phillips played a straight bat with him. I guess Jack can only speak as he finds.

Have this team won the Polish League or made it through to the play-offs ? -
Thats True Baggy, Then again Robert Lambert stuck with the Stars, while Connor Mountain went the other way. I guess its if riders look at just the short term, or more toward the medium/long term.
-
If he has lowered his average, then maybe someone will reap the benefit of that next season. Mads is no gater, so Leicester cant really have been the ideal choice, as I recall it was almost the only choice.

Honie, I think his father is quoted in the article saying the boy wants to ride for The Young Stars when he turns 15. Whitmore’s father Jason said: “I wouldn’t like to say how far he could go but I know he would firstly love to ride for his hometown side (Young Stars) in the National League when he turns 15.

From todays EDP...Another one of the Production line ? http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/kings-lynn-stars/hot_teen_speedway_prospect_lewis_13_from_king_s_lynn_is_best_in_britain_1_3764883 Good Luck to the Young Man

Blimey Trees you had to go back some way to dig that one up. Kert has done a great job for us, but when you look back at his National League scores and average for 2013, he should have been much better than that, but to keep you happy. I WAS WRONG lol

Coventry Vs Kings Lynn now Sept 4th - Empty Stadium ?
semion replied to markyb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Lynn have had their chips for the season, sadly. What started off so brightly has ended up a real damp squib. No one to blame its just happened. Rory racing in what seems like every Elite league meeting, NKI taking on too much of a workload, Injuries to Rose and Kerr, Porsing missing through other committments and injuries. I just think the whole Lynn thing just ran out of steam. It happens. The one I feel sorry for is Buster. I think he gave it his all this season, in the hope of finally breaking the Kings Lynn top League Duck, It wasnt to be. We have enjoyed a decent season at Saddlebow, but have to say Its not been a vintage one in terms of racing there. Bring On 2015, in what ever shape or form it may take. -

Surely they must know by now, must be due to arrive at the track anytime soon. Must be someone quite local. -

Welcome to Elite League Speedway...The 2014 version. I bet you cant wait for 2015. I dont know if there is any truth in the rumour that Walt Disney are looking at a sponsoroship deal for the league. -

It's never over till the fat lady sings. Have to admit Swindon have been given a massive advantage by all that has happened at other clubs.

Kings Lynn V Swindon - 27-08-2014 @ 19:30
semion replied to dump that clutch's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Like you, I too witnessed the rise and fall of Lee, and what a pleasure that was , early doors. Lee hit around a 7.5 average in his first Season ( part season) of top level Speedway in the UK. That in a league that was far more competitive than we witness today. However, that was what 40 years ago( ?) Have you seen anything since then that has even close ? So lets cut the boy Lambert some slack and get on his tour bus in the hope that he too can get to that level, at some point. -

So as a 16 year old, not lets forget his age, as a rider in his first year of Speedway at this level , hasnt reached your expectations, do you write him off, or based on this year, do you lower your expectations for next year ? -
If only Ward had got pissed earlier in the season. At Middlo n Matt would have had the chance to wave the old cheque book again
