  1. Great piece in the local EDP. http://www.edp24.co.uk/lifestyle/ove_fundin_reveals_his_success_in_norwich_stars_speedway_1_3813411
  2. Nice one Phillip, Colours nailed firmly to the mast with that one.
  3. Did Horton not commit to a 2 year deal with Rick Frost ?
  4. As The Poole riders like the Lynn Track so much, why not have the 2nd leg there. The first leg showed there was little to no home advantage. At least Buster would give the public/Sky/BSPA a fighting chance of getting the meeting on.
  5. If The season had started sooner who would have Lynn had riding at number 4, or would you have wanted R/R or a guest until Robert Lambert turned 16 ? Buster cant have it both ways.
  6. Buster would have given it a damn good go. I have turned up at Saddlebow thinking why has this meeting not been called off, and been quite angry that my time, fuel and admission had been wasted. Only to find an hour or so later Buster has pulled it round, ripped the top off and made a track, although not perfect, acceptable to ride on. Forever if, as you say this problem has been a long standing one, then surely the track staff knew full well they had no hope of pulling it around why Didnt Matt Ford stand up and call it off long before riders and fans had travelled ? What excuse could he have for wasting everybodys time and money ?
  7. The Bernard Cribbens sponsored Pirates buy another title.
  8. http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/kings-lynn-stars/inside_track_2014_world_number_three_niels_kristian_iversen_s_weekly_look_inside_the_norfolk_arena_1_3800313Taken from the EDP website..... Thats where Buster has been going wrong. He needs to get a van. Matty spends all that dosh buying titles, but uses a van on the track. You really couldnt write it.
  9. Stranger things have happened. I agree he should be in there, but a few more could make a case for it as well.
  10. Is there a guarantee that NKI will get a GP wild card next season ? If not he might be glad of a full season in The UK
  11. I doubt Hamilton knows how many cars he has either, with his kind of money is it any wonder. F1 is not a team Sport, as proved by Hamilton and Rosberg this season. Having said that after watching that horrific accident on Sunday they deserve every penny.
  12. If he had created a hole last Monday and not been able to fill it I'd be just as critical, cocking it up for a Play Off meeting is pretty inexcusable. Buster never created a hole. He bought one !!! Now look at it. Huggy was streaks ahead of Buster has a track man. The riders only had to tell Huggy how they wanted it and he delivered it. Back in the day Crumpie had the track set up for perfect, thanks to Huggy. Not sure all the other riders were that happy, but I as Crump was the main man of the time. he had it his way.
  13. Does it matter who rides for who ? Its all a circus. Just paid guns for hire. Most riders dont even know what the match scores are during a meeting, but you can bet ya bottom dollar they know how exactly how many ponts they are being paid for.
  14. Batchelor guesting, Hmmmm. Does a certain Transport Company still sponsor him ?
  15. Wont do them no good, as those sneaky Poole lot will move the hole on the first bend. It will be in a different place next week.
  16. In fairness gater, you say a ot more than that, and quite often. Just surprised you couldnt find a way to give Robert Lambert a mention in that post.
  17. Buster made some intetresting comments in the Local EDP newspaper. All 14 riders refused to take to the Wimborne Road shale after attempts to make the circuit rideable caused a giant hole to appear on turn one. Rain during the day had made the raceway slippery and – unlike in the first leg at
Lynn despite equally wet conditions – Pirates’ staff were unable to get the meeting on. “It’s just a shame they’ve got no new material here,” said Chapman, whose side will have to make the long trip back to Poole on Thursday for the re-arranged meeting. “I can’t believe that a stadium and track with so much pedigree and professionals has got no spare shale to put in. To be honest, one good load of shale would have had the job fixed. You can’t put stones in a hole and that’s what they tried to do. It’s a sorry state to be quite honest with you. We put so much passion and pride into what we do at Lynn and I don’t understand why others don’t do it.” Buster always tells it like it is.
  18. Could be a Poole double this year with Speedway and Football. Conference league Football beckons down Dorset way. Is their Current stadium up to the job or will they be moving into Wimborne Road ? If so could be interesting to see how Matt copes with Eddie. I know where I would put my money. Lewis Kerr made some interesting comments on Twitter about the First leg and riders not wanting to ride.
  19. Sorry for asking, but was last nights meeting called off because of the rain or because of the massive hole on the first bend, that Poole diodnt have the equipment to repair ? Been away, so its a genuine question.
  20. Adie Funk should be a shoe in for next season. One Rider I would like to see move on is...... Robert Lambert. Then come back in 2016.
  21. Can't even see the Kings of the Chokers choking this one. They have choked a good few in their time but this would be off the scale, even for them
  22. Gater you seem to get very steamed up about all things Robert Lambert, why doth it worry thee so when you you claim to be a Robins fan ?. You dont see Lynn fans getting steamed up about North or Morris. Me thinks thou hath a hidden agenda. As for Lynn, they gave it there best shot, and no point in using injuries /loss of form as an excuse, the facts are we came up short. So we move on.

  24. Maybe the more experienced fan has been cornered by her before. Bless her I am hoping the real piece of 'MAGIC' will be Buster with his wand out on that track. I wont mind if Buster sets it up with a spot or two of home track advantage, for a change. He certainly has the tools for the job.
