I can't understand why Pedersen didn't think of that. After all it had only hit the safety fence at 70 MPH, so it's not like it would have been damaged or anything.

Nikki Pedersen is what speedway so sadly lacks these days. He's a bloody good rider, an entertainer, & a showman. Unlike some of the other mardi arsed riders around. Good on yer Nikki, here's to many more world titles, & sod the knockers.

I didn't have to wait long for the anti Pedersen crap did I. Every other rider hits ruts & crash all over the place, but Nikki hits one & lo & behold he's accused of knocking everyone off. I thought Nikki controlled himself very well when talking to the ref, & I don't blame him for not wanting to be his friend.

I totally agree, but what do you expect when Messrs Tatum & Ermolenko can't think of anything else to talk about. Ermolenko has a dig at him every week in the Star. If you can't keep your biased opinions to yourself Sam, then stick to riding & leave the media side of things to the experts.

Well done Nikki, a true sportsman who, despite crashing out of the final still talks on camera with a big smile on his face. After having to listen to the usual anti Nikki crap spouted by messrs Tatum & Ermolenko all night, I hope they both choked on their words after his gesture in the final. What happened in the Crump incident was purely a racing incident caused by Nikki being thrown off his line by the track, however I can't for the life of me understand why 'cos it didn't cause anyone else any problems did it. I noticed that Crumpie patted him on the back before the re run, but I don't expect Mr Handoncock did, he just wants to keep his childish vendetta running. I'm still standing by waiting for the usual venemous anti Pedersen drivel to be posted though.

Not a bad meeting although I thought Nikki Pedersen was unlucky to be on the wrong end of a couple of questionable riding tactics yet again. It seems to me that the other riders have a vendetta against him. Norris did ok but he had a couple of points gifted to him when other riders made mistakes.

I prefer "Dark One", but I suppose "Ducky" has a certain ring to it.
