No it's Dave Rowe the commentator who is much better than Tatum - entirely different person

No 10.5.j allows a guest for a rider in dispute 'FOR A PERIOD DETERMINED BY THE BSPL'. Given past precedents and the wording of 10.5.k (riders retiring) which mentions 28 days the most likely outcome would be a 28 day facility. However it is possible when faced with the choice of extending the facility or Birmingham folding you could end up with a season long guest spot.

Witches Vs Tigers
arnieg replied to cowboy cookie returns?'s topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Whatever happened on track the referee's scorecard is by definition - the result. Last time I saw this was at Plymouth in 2020 when the wrong Thompson twin was excluded. -
Looks like it has been done on Championship GSAs. Seeded ten are top 10 and Bickley in 11th.

Alsvenskan is Wednesday, and pretty well all the Swedes bar Freddie double down. Also note that not a single Swede rode in the UK last year, or as presently stands this season too. So unless Birmingham can offer a more attractive deal than other clubs (or re-instate airline services that have been shelved?) I doubt Swedes will prove to be the answer.

What's non-European got to do with it? Work permits are needed for all foreign riders.

Not to mention Nigel 'only 61' Flatman

International Speedway 2022

Not if it's another substandard Dane whose domestic commitments will mainly be Division 1 matches on a Saturday (like Agertoft)
-
He did http://www.gbspeedway.com/2016/meeting.php?mc1=s&mc2=rc&mc3=pf&mc4=x&comp=NL&meeting=613 although that was at NL level so not strictly comparable.

See what response that idea gets in Daugavpils?

I think you are referring to the under 16 tests in 2001 & 03 (my what a long time ago). I can remember being very impressed with Sonke Pedersen http://www.internationalspeedway.co.uk/youth.htm

Danish League 2025 Wednesday 30th July
arnieg replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
So who gets to ride in most of their matches Iversen or Woffy? -
Last 12 matches he averaged 3.18 (exc bonus) maybe there's your reason. (He looked great when I saw him but that was in a brief purple patch in July/Aug)
-
Why wouldn't he be?? (Hint Denmark has a Summer break in July, so no clashes there)
-
OK I missed Morris' paid 10 (still less than 3 of Hume's scores) but by quoting Morris and Shanes' figures INCLUDING bonus and showing they are still BELOW Hume's WITHOUT bonus you are rather pro in my case.
-
So by that logic it makes more sense to compare away form. And what do we find? Hume's superiority is far more evident. Hume 4.85 Morris 4.00 Shanes 3.77. Shanes and Morris failed to reach double figures away from home last year. In contrast Hume was paid for double figures at Edinburgh, Kent and Leicester. Over the last four years there isn't much to choose between them, but in 2021 Hume was the better rider.

Absolutely, it is an indication of potential - there is no guarantee that it will be fulfilled

A 17 year old who's world under 21 final performances are, for his age, better than: Zmarzlik Dudek Pawlicki Janowski Kubera Smektala ...should do ok
-
Aakko's win was Feb 2003
-
And you'd be right last two non Russian winners were: 15 March 2003 Bauer 9 March 2003 Sereniuos .. since when (at a quick count) 139 GPs have been won by Russians.

However that is not a rational approach, as because of the destrengthening of the NDL all other averages will have been inflated so a 7pt 2018 average is more equivalent to an 8pt current GSA.
-
But that would still suggest a company that has probably lost in excess of £600k in the last five years.

Only seen the last two, gosh I suddenly feel so young
