  1. Would make a good pre season warm up in early March. BUT Can you imagine how you'd have been laughed at for suggesting this 10 years ago?
  2. I'm inclined to think beating Woffinden, Fricke and Michelsen in a single meeting suggests he might be ok at the NSS.
  3. Full list of winners. You will note that GB (and Russia) has never taken it particularly seriously. Ukraine even have a medal! https://pl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drużynowe_mistrzostwa_Europy_juniorów_na_żużlu
  4. He has ridden for Poland - in the European under 23 Team Championship http://www.gbspeedway.com/2021/worldcup.php?mc1=o&mc2=eu23t&mc3=x&mc4=x&champ=EU23T
  5. And if they do denounce the invasion, what then? Novichok and polonium for tea. Many have condemned them as cowards for not speaking out against the war, but it carries with it real dangers.
  6. But is McGuiness one of them? Last season he averaged 2.57 in Denmark (League 1). For comparison: Ben Basso 9.24 Tobias Thomsen 7.20 Jacob Bukhave 6.84 Mika Meijer (Neth) 3.80 Nick Agertoft 3.46 Maja Aamand 3.23 (one of the world's top 3 female riders) Henry van der Steen (Neth) 3.14
  7. Seconded, he was a good watch in his brief spell at Leicester
  8. I'm pretty sure that 12 months ago Adam Ellis confirmed French league did not count in his quota of 'international leagues'. Can't ever recall seeing Ligue Francais matches appear on the ISL.
  9. I would think that the PZM would be willing to give them Polish licences. I imagine that Russia will be banned from SoN and other FIM team competitions though.
  10. But in Poland Doyle 9, Fricke 7.25 In Sweden Doyle 9.44, Fricke 8.68 But 2022 could be the year Fricke replaces Doyle as the top Aussie
  11. 16 March 2003 Glasgow 38 Valsarna 52
  12. That average largely consists of matches ridden for Sheffield and Workington, I stand by my figure.
  13. 3 strong heat leaders A tremendous improvement in Ellis Perks (And consequent upon that ) the ability to have Connor Mountain at reserve. Proctor was adequate but clearly a lesser rider than his 2019 Sheffield form or the previous year at Worky.
  14. To be honest he wasn't that great at Leicester in 2019 (5.89 average)
  15. Go to https://speedwayekstraliga.pl/kalendarz-sportu-zuzlowego/ And select your date range Includes 250cc and under 24 league fixtures
  16. Senior team WILL be the Cheetahs, Chargers name is reserved for the junior team

Cec Platt - is that the Australian who rode for Reading?
  18. No it's Dave Rowe the commentator who is much better than Tatum - entirely different person
  19. No 10.5.j allows a guest for a rider in dispute 'FOR A PERIOD DETERMINED BY THE BSPL'. Given past precedents and the wording of 10.5.k (riders retiring) which mentions 28 days the most likely outcome would be a 28 day facility. However it is possible when faced with the choice of extending the facility or Birmingham folding you could end up with a season long guest spot.
  20. Whatever happened on track the referee's scorecard is by definition - the result. Last time I saw this was at Plymouth in 2020 when the wrong Thompson twin was excluded.
  21. Looks like it has been done on Championship GSAs. Seeded ten are top 10 and Bickley in 11th.
  22. Alsvenskan is Wednesday, and pretty well all the Swedes bar Freddie double down. Also note that not a single Swede rode in the UK last year, or as presently stands this season too. So unless Birmingham can offer a more attractive deal than other clubs (or re-instate airline services that have been shelved?) I doubt Swedes will prove to be the answer.
  23. What's non-European got to do with it? Work permits are needed for all foreign riders.
