  1. Firstly what reg was Killeen excluded under? The reporting seems to imply it was 12.1.6. If so it does not apply in this case as Lasse Fredriksen was excluded. If he was indeed excluded under 12.1.6 then this is a stating offence (see 12.1.7) and as such a replacement (or 15 m h'cap) is available under 12.1.8
  2. Still struggling to understand the decision in heat 12
  3. Pretty much irrelevant. The 2025 points limit will be whatever the promoters decide. The monthly increase is to allow some headro9m for in season changes. (In practice it hasn't allowed much. Last month only Glasgow were below and not by much)
  4. 9 matches (4 riding at no 1) 42 rides 74 pts 7.05 ave
  5. NEXT IN MANCHESTER: BELLE VUE COLTS v OXFORD AUGUST 2 | TAPES UP AT 7:30PM, AFTER BRITISH YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP @ 6:00PM from BV website
  6. Vuolas does not have an assessed average. He has a real Championship average of 6.00, and A converted av of 4.55 (July Champ av x 1.5)
  7. Same age (22) and similar ability to Bastian Borke. Don't expect him to be any better than Newman.
  8. And yet Oxford running three teams in three leagues will have completed their NDL home programme in August and are ahead of almost every team in the Prem and Championship in terms of home matches ridden
  9. Except perhaps the Disturbed Cyril remix of 'The Sounds of Silence' which they play EVERY week at Oxford.
  10. The stupidity here is calling it 'no facility' when perhaps 'reduced facility' would be better as 75% guest is clearly still a facility.
  11. This a 1000 times. [Also see IRR and 'recurring injury' or min 3 ride rule for reserves, or 75% no facility guests' and that's just recent ones in the spotlight]
  12. World under 21 finalist (something Brennan never managed to qualify for) and riding decently in Polish under 24 this season. No drop off in Prem or Champ averages. I'd say that's a fairly respectable season with some encouraging signs of development.
  13. He was replaced by Adam Roynon, who rode one match and is currently out injured.
  14. Absolutely not, those are the parts I am most likely to read. [Least likely to read are the recycled club press releases]
  15. Clearly a different planet, because I was on one where Leicester rode against Belle Vue with no overtaking after bend 3 lap1 until heat 11 when Kurtz passed Douglas. Only other noteworthy pass was ht 13 when Douglas created a gap that let Fricke past Kurtz. Racing was pisspoor. End of.
  16. I think it is fair to say the management go to a lot of effort - and they get a lot of things right. Just that 'team strengthening' is not one of them
  17. But I can think of a couple of examples where the medical officer has declared visiting riders unfit and the away team has screamed BIAS
  18. Such a shame foe Birmingham they couldn't have Zach Cook every week. ... what ? They chose to get rid of him!!! PS has Pawlicki's finger been relocated yet?
  19. But there isn't a single Monday or Thursday between now and the play-offs when both teams are available. So if it is called off then we probably get a meaningless fixture in October after the Grand Final.
  20. That makes no sense. They are so far under the limit they could simply have replaced Kemp with Zmarzlik.
  21. That doesn't make sense. Why not just replace Kemp with Vaculik/Zmarzlik. ... unless of course they are both being signed.
  22. I think Plymouth might argue that the British under 21 Semi staging should count as their contribution. It is a meeting there is no great clamour to stage and 15 of the 16 competitors were NDL riders [Ashton Boughen being the exception].
  23. Details here: https://www.uk.coop/directory/longsight-district-sports-social-club
