Plus you get dizzy. It's better at larger tracks (Long Eaton 25+ years ago was my first), but I am inclined to agree.

Comes up on Wed 29th at 6.10pm when I looked for it

Pretty sure I went to Brough in 1984. They finished bottom of British League after an ill-advised elevation.

I'm guessing Rob may have ghosted the Schroek and/or Courtney pieces, but the others all come from real contributors. I think the OP does have a point, four of the articles in the front half of the programme do cover similar ground (the exception being Rob's interview with Luke Killeen), but the back half contains no less than six original and distinctive articles, including a particularly punchy piece from Alan Bates.

Leicester vs Birmingham 25/06/2022 CL

Three of whom are riding in the CL this season (Clegg, Sarjeant, Shanes) - a pretty good hit rate -
Leicester vs Birmingham 25/06/2022 CL
arnieg replied to IainB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Because British speedway needs a supply of talented young riders, and few tracks have the capacity to provide significant track time to youngsters. A few weeks ago it was a real pleasure to see Ben Trigger riding against Leicester and witness his progress. It's good for the sport -
Newcastle still appear in League table on BSPL site, but have been removed from latest published GSA.

Poole Pirates Vs Plymouth Gladiators 22 June

At 2.5 points over they will struggle to achieve that. -

Mm terrible luck to loose Barker and have him replaced by a guy who could only score paid 17 Still a good performance by Glads and sounds like they have good cause to feel aggreived. -
Birmingham v Redcar 22,06,22 Wednesday
arnieg replied to Petecc's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Which will be aproblem for Brum as his GSA continues to fall (even if not riding) -
I would imagine this would be a legitimate claim against the BSPL bond. Certainly should be.

And Atkins (and presumably Atkins père) has arrived. New declaration now published.
-
Surely Oxford has planning consent. I don't recall it needing a new consent to reopen, so if it closed again it could reopen at a later date (baring a major redesignation in the structure plan?)
-
Why would Smetana need a Czech visa? Surely Smetana was subject to UK Home Office rules?
-
I think it was an away match at Swindon. Douglas Underwood plus six guests in the mid 70s.
-
And by the time work permits were sorted out the season (for Newcastle at least) would be almost over. Smetana?
-
YES Have a look at the 1970s Polish averages. How many meetings did riders like Jancarz and Plech miss because their British contracts required them to be in the UK?
-
New GSA published (15 June), and Atkins is no longer in Plymouth team. We await developments

BERWICK v MILDENHALL (NDL) Saturday, June 18th (7pm)
arnieg replied to crescent girl's topic in National League Speedway
Don't think a dispensation is needed. 12.4 states: If a rider is representing their FMN in an FIM/FIME Speedway Championship, irrespective of the rider’s MA, a choice of G or RR facility is available. That's the same wording as the rule in the Championship section that allowed a guest for Harris when on long track duty. So my reading is that it is an application of the rules NOT a dispensation.
