One of the problems with the reduction in no. of matches on which GSAs are based. All things being equal a team whose GSAs are based on 7 home and 3 away is likely to have a higher combined total than one with 3 home and 7 away. Over 20 matches that was far less of an issue.

I gather the interpretation of the IRR rule has been changed this week. It is once again the case that the injury must be a new one caused during the meeting. (Which is not what the rule actually says.)
