Can anyone tell me what the cut- off date that determines who goes into the play- offs is? There are still 3 TBA fixtures (although Plymouth v Armadale will not impact on play- off positions), the other two could. [ Leicester v Berwick and Armadale v Belle Vue]

Scunthorpe vs Leicester 02/09/22

Well he was at Brum on Wednesday where he outscored Dan, Kemp, Edwards, Bailey in the under 21s -
It should be, but past experience suggests otherwise.
-
I presume there will be no firm date until Monarchs cup and play-off runs are exhausted.
-
They were, but that was largely down to the fact that Luke Harrison and Max James were so evenly matched.
-
They are not my best riders, neither of them ride for any of the five teams I support.
-
Wright and Lambert ride together 3 times, that's 3. Nicholls say 6 (probably from 7 rides), then Harris12 from 7 and Basso 9 from 6. Sounds plausible.
-
Perhaps because there are no plans to race it before the cut-off deadline

I acknowledge Brennan missed half a season and that didn't help his progress. But if you compare Brennan's scores BEFORE his injury in 2019 they do not compare favourably with Flint's in 2021. -

Rider A scores more points than rider B => rider A is probably better than rider B That's what I regard as as logic. I'd love to know what passes for logic in your world. PS Flint world under 21 debut aged 19, Brennan aged 21. -
To be fair there seems to be a real possibility that Sheffield won't complete their fixtures in time which does add a little jeopardy.

No . It is based on facts as evidenced by averages. -
Perhaps because if he rides and scores points he'll earn some money. Doubt the thought process goes much beyond that.

Flint is ahead of Brennan once you account for the two year age difference. -
In a few Czech events (and amateur meetings at Iwade/Lydd) the excluded rider can go back in the rerun, but his score doesn't count.

Hasn't everyone? (44 at the last count) The 7 team guests are Justin Sedgmen and Connor Coles -
Max has had an average as far back as 16 July. ( and higher than Vinnie). I would suggest Vinnie is in because there was a qualifying round at Mildenhall on 10 April. Although not qualifying he scored enough points to be elevated to the line up following withdrawals by those who finished ahead of him. (Max was too young to ride in the semi final.)

I've now found the 2010 result ( the competition's first running) Also won by Krcmar. Ashley Morris fourth and biggest name competing Jacob Thorsell. -

Only six. But there are riders who've guested for seven. (I read an article about it in last Wednesday's Oxford programme.) -
